Why AI Should Amplify Your Expertise Not Replace Your Clarity with Shilpa Lewis12 Aug 202600:51:25

As AI tools proliferate, many founders feel pressured to create more content faster, often confusing rapid output with strategic clarity. Paul is joined by mindfulness-led AI strategist Shilpa Lewis to explore why technology cannot replace your lived experience and how to use AI to amplify your core signal rather than drown in digital noise.

In this episode

Paul and Shilpa unfuzzle the intersection of artificial intelligence, user experience, and mindfulness-led business strategy. While large language models can act as a powerful catalyst for productivity, they cannot define your message or replace self-knowledge.

Shilpa shares her 3A Amplify Method (Aspirations, Aches, and Apprehensions) for understanding ideal clients on a deeper human level and introduces her Omni Pivot Method for intentional business transitions.

They also discuss the shift from standard SEO to Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), the ethics of digital identity, and why taking time to pause prevents overwhelm in an increasingly automated world.

Topics discussed

The real source of AI overwhelm and digital noise for solopreneurs.

Why AI should act as a catalyst for productivity rather than a replacement for clarity.

The distinction between digital noise and a founder's authentic signal.

The 3A Amplify Method: Mapping client Aspirations, Aches, and Apprehensions.

Using custom GPTs, skill files, and content engines without losing personal voice.

The Omni Pivot Method: Unveil, Craft, and Elevate.

Buzzword Bingo: What "AI Strategy" really means in practice and the transition from traditional SEO to Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO).

A candid "Marketing Fail" lesson on navigating technology during live streams.

Why knowing your 'Why' serves as the ultimate anchor for strategic growth.

Why Doing More Marketing Can Make You Feel Less Clear29 Jul 202600:16:19

When every part of your business feels connected, one marketing task can quickly turn into a mental list of everything that needs fixing.

In this episode, Paul explores why connected business issues often become combined priorities. Your message affects your content, your content affects your visibility, and your offer affects what people do next.

However, connected does not mean simultaneous.

This episode explains why clarity is not something you receive after completing every task.

It is what helps you decide what matters now, what can wait and what deserves to happen next.

Paul also introduces The Growth Optimiser perspective, explains how it differs from his The Authority Engine™ method, and shows why clearer direction creates a stronger foundation for later recognition work.

Topics Discussed

  • Why one marketing task can expose several connected business issues.
  • The difference between connected priorities and simultaneous priorities.
  • Why more activity can create more decisions, maintenance and noise.
  • Why completing everything is not a realistic route to clarity.
  • How to decide what matters now and what can wait.
  • The Energy Ceiling and the limits of relying on personal effort.
  • The four movements within The Growth Optimiser System.
  • How The Growth Optimiser System differs from The Authority Engine™
  • Why clarity prepares the foundations for deeper recognition work.
  • A simple way to identify your next useful step

Why Capable Founders Stay Hidden When Their Expertise Is Ready to Be Seen with Gundega Szabo01 Jul 202600:45:45

Many experienced founders have an incredible depth of expertise, a clear message, and an important mission, yet when it is time to be seen fully, something shifts. They might soften their opinions, delay hitting publish, undercharge for their services, or stay just visible enough to remain present, but not visible enough to be truly recognised.

In this episode of Fuzzled, Paul Culshaw sits down with transition mentor and visibility healer Gundega Szabo to explore what she calls the "visibility wound". They clarify why standard tactical advice like "just get yourself out there" fails when your nervous system doesn't feel safe, how hiding behind online filters or AI dilutes your authority, and how true inner alignment opens the floodgates to financial and professional recognition.

In This Episode:

Demystifying the Visibility Wound: Why visibility triggers a fight, flight, or freeze response in the nervous system, and how childhood experiences run the show behind professional resistance.

The Cost of Inauthenticity: The dangerous energetic and physical burnout that happens when you show up as a persona people want you to be, rather than who you truly are.

The Visibility & Receiving Connection: How hiding parts of your true identity creates an immediate ceiling on your pricing, the clients you attract, and your capacity to receive money.

The Trap of Performative Marketing: Why using tech, filters, or AI to mask your real self creates an energetic distortion that prospective clients sub-consciously detect.

Micro Markers for Your Progress

Episode Start: Paul sets the stage for why capable business owners stay hidden and introduces the concept of the visibility wound.

The Big Breakdown: Gundega shares her personal journey of growing up with facial scars and how high achievers often use over-delivering to compensate for deep suppression.

Buzzword Bingo: Moving past the misconception that "Authentic Expression" means being performative, loud, or aggressive, and shifting to matching who you are behind closed doors.

What Would You Do?: Gundega's operational blueprint for starting from scratch with zero audience by anchoring content in real-world truth from day one.

Marketing Fails & Holy Moly Moments: The amazing story of why Gundega deleted a viral video with 60,000 views, stepped away from her business for nine months, and how it initiated her current work.

Fuzzled - Where Clarity Creates Momentum

Why Growing a Digital Business in 2026 Requires Simpler Systems, Not More Content with Mireia Paíno17 Jun 202600:36:28

In 2026, the digital space is shifting faster than ever, with new AI tools reshaping content creation and audience behaviors silently evolving. When growth stalls, the default reaction for many business founders is to fall back on outdated strategies or simply crank up the content grind. But trying to acquire more attention without an intentional pathway for your audience just means you are burning energy to invite people into an empty shop where they cannot buy.

n this practical episode of Fuzzled, Paul Culshaw is joined by business strategist Mireia Paíno to unpack what is actually driving sustainable online growth right now. Together, they explore the shifting architecture of personal branding, how to move past an over-reliance on paid advertising, and why a simplified customer journey is the ultimate key to turning casual online visibility into operational calm and revenue certainty.

In This Episode:

The 2026 Personal Brand Mandate: Why major corporations are beginning to require employee advocacy on LinkedIn, and why solopreneurs must establish a distinct, trusted online opinion.

Ditching the Ad Reliance: Why pouring money into Facebook ads without organic testing creates empty traction, and how to leverage content retention analytics to optimise engagement.

The Rule of Three: Mireia’s low-overwhelm tactical roadmap for starting from scratch by picking exactly three manageable marketing activities to run consistently for three months.

The Secondary Customer Journey: Why the relationship shouldn’t stop at client acquisition, and how nurturing existing clients protects you from leaving money on the table.

Micro-Markers for Your Progress

The Big Breakdown: An inside look at the key trends shaping online business in 2026, the evolution of raw authenticity, and why you should look at video retention data.

Buzzword Bingo: Demystifying the operational line between Client Acquisition and the Customer Journey and how they must work together as a pathway to conversion.

What Would You Do?: Mireia's minimalist blueprint for launching with zero audience or existing systems by balancing intentional online and offline relationships.

Marketing Fails & Holy Moly Moments: A behind-the-scenes breakdown of a recent high-ticket launch that secured 3,000 ideal leads and a fully booked webinar through raw, authentic storytelling.

Why Busy Personal Brands Need Systems Not More Motivation with Ana Clarke03 Jun 202600:32:50

Many personal brands fall into the trap of confusing busyness with productivity. When results don’t match intense operational effort, it’s easy to assume the problem is a lack of motivation or discipline. However, the real issue is structural: your business lacks a daily rhythm that makes growth repeatable and sustainable.

In this episode of Fuzzled, Paul sits down with certified business strategist Ana Clarke to explore why building a solid system trumps waiting for motivation every single time. Ana shares how to transition from chaotic firefighting to a calm operational flow by documenting your actions, identifying energy leaks, and engineering a business that supports your life rather than taking it over.

In This Episode

Busyness vs. Productivity: Why fighting fire with fire creates the illusion of progress while masking deep structural leaks in your daily focus.

The Daily Method of Operation (DMO): How to reverse-engineer your monthly financial and care goals into clear, repeatable daily habits.

The Good, Better, Best Framework: Designing a flexible operating system that protects your energy ceiling and keeps the business running even when life throws surprises.

Person First, Business Second: Why moving away from dry, "ChatGPT-style" outreach to share your authentic human story is the secret to landing national media visibility.

Micro-Markers for Your Progress

The Big Breakdown: Why personal brands mistake being busy for being productive, and how to identify your "income stealers".

Buzzword Bingo: Deconstructing the difference between a reliable system and motivation, your highly unreliable operational friend.

Marketing Fails & Holy Moly Moments: Ana shares her profound PR breakthrough, moving from eight months of silent outreach to landing national BBC coverage by changing how she told her story.

Closing Perspective: Why sustainable visibility is never a product of raw, unstructured effort, and how a solid rhythm naturally brings a sense of calm.

Why AI Agreement Isn’t the Same as Being Heard with Charlotte Clegg20 May 202600:39:05

AI tools can be incredibly soothing. They respond instantly, validate our ideas, and help us organise our thoughts when we feel overwhelmed or stuck. However, as these machines become a constant presence in our lives, a vital question emerges: is an AI's validation actually helping us find clarity, or is it just keeping us comfortable?

In this unique episode of Fuzzled, Paul Culshaw steps away from marketing strategy to explore the human side of AI with psychotherapist Charlotte Clegg. Together, they explain why AI "agreement" is fundamentally different from the deep, clarifying experience of being heard by another human being, and why relying too heavily on automated reassurance can actually stall personal and professional growth.

In This Episode:

The Validation Loop: Why AI tools are programmed to agree with you, and how constant automated validation can trap you in your own echo chamber.

The Comfort Trap: Exploring how turning to an AI agent for emotional reassurance can masquerade as productivity while keeping you isolated.

The Power of Human Discernment: Why true clarity often requires the healthy friction, empathy, and challenge that only another person can provide.

Slowing Down in a Fast World: Practical reflections on when to put down the prompt box and seek out genuine human connection to stabilise your thinking.

Micro-Markers for Your Progress

[01:07] The Big Breakdown: Why AI tools feel so reassuring when we are feeling overwhelmed or uncertain.

[12:35] Buzzword Bingo: Deconstructing the difference between an AI's "simulated empathy" and actual human connection.

[21:14] Fails, Fails & Holy Moly Moments: Charlotte shares a profound insight on how automated agreement bypasses the emotional processing needed for real breakthrough.

[37:05] Closing Perspective: Why discernment is our most critical asset in an AI-shaped world, and when the bravest step is to stop prompting and start talking.

Why Your Visibility Must Move From Attention to Intention06 May 202600:19:26

The way people discover businesses online is undergoing a fundamental shift. In this episode of Fuzzled, Paul Culshaw explores why the traditional pursuit of "attention" is becoming a liability as the internet moves toward an "intention-led" ecosystem.

In This Episode

Paul breaks down how 2026 updates to Meta’s AI ecosystem are changing the rules for founders and personal brands.

The Intention Shift: Understanding why AI systems are moving away from merely entertaining users to actively helping them achieve specific outcomes and goals.

Meta’s 2026 AI Ecosystem: Exploring the integration of smarter AI features into Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp designed for context, planning, and decision-making.

Visibility as Infrastructure: Why building a stable "home" for your expertise on owned media (websites, podcasts, blogs) is more effective than chasing daily social media trends.

The Zero-Click Strategy: How to ensure your authority is clear enough that AI agents can recommend you before a user ever clicks through to your site.

Outcome over Topic: A practical guide to shifting your messaging from general "tips" to specific, high-intent outcomes that machines and humans can easily categorise.

Micro-Markers for Your Progress

[01:00] Meta’s April 2026 AI update and its impact on how users discover and plan goals.

Why You're Not Seen as the Expert, Even Though You’re Posting22 Apr 202600:09:21

Posting consistently but still feeling like a "best-kept secret"? It’s a common frustration. You’re showing up, sharing value, and trying to stay visible, yet the world isn't quite categorising you as the authority you are. The issue isn't your work ethic; it’s your structure. In a world of infinite noise, frequency alone doesn't create experts, legibility does.

In the 40th episode of Fuzzled, Paul Culshaw breaks down why "more content" is often the enemy of authority. Learn how to stop the "content grind" and start sending the specific signals that allow your audience, and AI tools, to finally understand exactly what you are the expert in.

In This Episode:

The Frequency Fallacy: Why posting every day can actually dilute your authority if your message lacks a structural anchor.

Content as Furniture: How to stop treating your posts like "decoration" and start building a recognisable room that people want to enter.

The Legibility Test: Why the human brain (and ChatGPT) will ignore a talented generalist in favour of a clear specialist every time.

The Noise Trap: How to identify if you are providing "useful noise" instead of "structured authority."

Micro-Markers for Your Progress

[01:09] The Big Breakdown: Why posting more content isn't the shortcut to authority that we’ve been promised.

[03:10] Buzzword Bingo: We're shining a light of clarity on Topical Authority. Hint: It’s not about how often you post; it’s about the pattern you create.

[04:47] Holy Moly Moment: Paul shares the realisation that trying to be "everything to everyone" is the very thing that keeps founders and personal brands invisible.

[07:32] Closing Perspective: Why being understood is more valuable than being everywhere.

When Life Feels Unpredictable, How Do You Build Income? with Dani Louise Smith08 Apr 202600:39:06

The internet loves to present business growth as a smooth, upward curve. But for most of us, the reality involves health challenges, family responsibilities, and those "left-field" life events that don't care about our content calendars. If you’ve ever felt like your income is at the mercy of your daily energy levels, you don't need more "hustle", you need a strategy that respects your reality.

In this episode of Fuzzled, Paul Culshaw is joined by business coach and bestselling author Dani Louise Smith to discuss building a business that survives (and thrives) through unpredictability. In This Episode:

IPAs vs. Noise: Identifying the "Income Producing Activities" that keep your business solvent while you handle life's interruptions.

The Energy Ceiling: How to design a business structure that works with your individual internal wiring rather than against it.

The "Busy Work" Trap: Why we default to low-impact tasks when we’re overwhelmed and how to snap out of it.

Sustainable Momentum: Dani’s personal journey of building a successful business while navigating chronic illness and unpredictable health cycles.

Micro-Markers for Your Progress

Midlife Reinvention: Turning Experience into Authority with Rachael Lawrence25 Mar 202600:28:40

Midlife isn't a crisis; it’s a structural realignment. If you are pivoting your business or identity after years of professional experience, you aren't starting from zero, you are building on a hidden asset that most beginners simply don't have.

In this episode of Fuzzled, Paul Culshaw sits down with bestselling author and personal brand mentor Rachael Lawrence to discuss why midlife reinvention is about realignment, not replacement. Learn how to stop downplaying your history and start using it as the foundation for your authority.

In This Episode

Reinvention vs. Starting Over: Why your past "lives" are the fuel for your new authority, not something to be erased.

The Wisdom Asset: Shifting the focus from what you do to what you know, and how to package that for a modern audience.

The Identity Gap: Navigating the uncomfortable phase where your old title no longer fits, but your new one feels "unearned."

The Authority Pivot: How to structure your existing experience into a clear, legible brand that commands respect immediately.

Micro-Markers for Your Progress

[09:44] Buzzword Bingo: Imposter Syndrome—Redefining that "fraud" feeling as a natural signal of growth and expansion.

[17:40] Fails, Fails & Holy Moly Moments: Rachael shares the "Holy Moly" realisation that her wisdom was her product, not just her service.

You Don’t Have a Visibility Problem. You Have a Positioning Problem18 Mar 202600:09:05

If you are putting in the effort, showing up consistently, and sharing valuable content, yet you still feel like a best-kept secret, you likely don’t have a visibility problem . You have a positioning problem. Visibility only leads to recognition when people, and AI tools, can clearly categorise who you are and what you solve .

In this episode of Fuzzled, Paul Culshaw breaks down why "just getting yourself out there" is often a recipe for spreading confusion rather than building authority. Learn how to move past the "reach" trap and build the structural clarity that makes your expertise both legible and memorable .

In This Episode:

The Categorisation Trap: Why being "useful but vague" is the fastest way to remain invisible to your audience and search engines.

Patterns Over Volume: How platforms like LinkedIn, Google, and ChatGPT use patterns to identify the "real" experts in a noisy world.

The "Authority Engine" Framework: Why positioning is the mandatory first phase before you ever think about content systems.

Why Some Experts Become Recognised and Others Stay Invisible11 Mar 202600:09:17

Expertise alone isn't a ticket to the spotlight. If you've been working hard but remain a "best-kept secret," it’s likely because your authority signals are vague or inconsistent. In a world where both humans and AI are constantly scanning for credible experts, you don't need to be the loudest; you just need to be the most legible.

In this episode of Fuzzled, Paul Culshaw explores why recognition is a byproduct of clear, repeated patterns rather than just raw talent. Learn how to move past the "marketing decoration" of a personal brand and start sending the authority signals that search engines and AI tools are looking for right now.

In This Episode:

The Expertise Fallacy: Why technical skill doesn't naturally lead to being noticed and what people are actually scanning for instead.

The Legibility Factor: How to make your expertise easy to understand, easy to associate with a topic, and easy for an AI to remember.

Personal Branding vs. Authority Signals: Why polished profiles are only 5% of the battle and what the other 95% actually requires.

The AI "Expert Test": A simple, uncomfortable question to ask yourself about whether your name would appear in a ChatGPT or Claude recommendation.

Micro-Markers for Your Progress

[01:53] The Big Breakdown: Why recognition comes from visible authority signals, not just knowing your subject well.

[03:54] Buzzword Bingo: Deconstructing the "Personal Brand" and why it requires repeated signals of what you solve.

Energy Over Effort: Why Structure Protects Momentum04 Mar 202600:09:36

Stop blaming your lack of willpower for your inconsistent marketing. If your consistency typically collapses by week six, it isn't a character flaw, it’s a capacity failure. Willpower is a finite resource that burns out, but structure is the infrastructure that endures.

In this episode of Fuzzled, Paul Culshaw reframes the "try harder" narrative by distinguishing between discipline and capacity. You will learn how to calculate your "stable marketing capacity" and why your content should be treated as infrastructure rather than a performative sprint.

In This Episode:

Discipline vs. Capacity: Why marketing capacity is about managing creative energy and decision load, not just hours on a calendar.

The 20% Rule: A simple method for calculating your realistic energy ceiling to ensure your marketing remains sustainable.Energy Mapping: How to respect the natural fluctuations in your focus so your business stays predictable without becoming rigid.

The Content Machine: Why algorithms eat content like Pac-Man, and how structure prevents you from being consumed by the process.

Micro-Markers for Your Progress

[00:56] The Big Breakdown: Why infrastructure endures while willpower burns.

[03:15] Energy Mapping: Practical steps to respect your energy cycles and avoid structural overload.

[04:44] Buzzword Bingo: Defining Content Marketing and how to stop it from becoming an "unstructured" exhaustion trap.

Behind Isn’t a Motivation Problem. It’s a Structure Problem.25 Feb 202600:09:34

Are you working all the time, staying visible, and feeling exhausted, yet somehow still not moving forward? If you feel permanently behind, it isn't because you lack "hustle"; it's because your focus is being fragmented by it.

In this episode of Fuzzled, Paul Culshaw breaks down why "effort" is often the enemy of momentum and how a Calm Weekly Rhythm can do the heavy lifting for you.

In This Episode:

  • The Fragmentation of Hustle: Why urgency splinters your attention and keeps your nervous system on edge.
  • Momentum vs. Intensity: Why real progress comes from doing fewer things repeatedly rather than overshooting your energy ceiling.
  • The Algorithm Secret: Why social media Reach responds to pattern-based reliability, not random bursts of energy.
  • Removing Choice: How Paul shifted from "What should I do today?" to "What repeats this week?" to find immediate mental relief.

Micro-Markers for Your Progress

  • [01:19] The Big Breakdown: Why hustle culture replaces rhythm with reaction and breaks your focus.

  • [03:02] Buzzword Bingo: A deep dive into Reach and why it's earned through presence, not chased with energy.

Why Hustle Breaks Focus Before It Builds Momentum18 Feb 202600:07:32

Hustle promises momentum but in reality it fractures focus long before momentum has a chance to build.

In this episode, Paul breaks down why constant effort creates fragmentation and why rhythm, not productivity, is the real growth advantage.

In This Episode

  • Why hustle culture replaces rhythm with reaction.
  • How overshooting your Energy Ceiling destabilises focus.
  • The difference between intensity and true momentum.
  • Why algorithms reward patterns, not bursts (Buzzword Bingo: Reach).

The Fear of Being Seen: How Sensitive Entrepreneurs Can Show Up with Calm Confidence (ft. Cheryl Masey)11 Feb 202600:24:32

Visibility isn’t a volume problem. For many sensitive, highly attuned entrepreneurs, it’s a safety one.

In this episode, I’m joined by Cheryl Masey, who helps people live and work with purpose by building confidence, self-worth, and belief from the inside out.

We talk about why the fear of being seen shows up so strongly for thoughtful entrepreneurs, what calm confidence actually looks like in real life, and how showing up imperfectly can build trust without draining your energy.

You’ll hear about:

Why wanting success doesn’t cancel out the fear of visibility.

What “confident visibility” looks like without performance or pressure.

A gentler way to start showing up, even when you don’t feel ready.

How small, focused actions build momentum without overwhelm

This is a grounded, human conversation for anyone who wants to be visible without forcing themselves to become louder, harder, or someone they’re not.

Calm Marketing: Why Marketing Should Feel Like Infrastructure, Not Pressure04 Feb 202600:09:16

Marketing shouldn’t feel like something you have to constantly perform.

And yet, for many overwhelmed entrepreneurs, it does.

In this episode of Fuzzled, Paul reframes marketing away from pressure, urgency, and constant output and towards something calmer, steadier, and far more sustainable.

Instead of treating marketing as a task you repeat endlessly, this episode explores what happens when you treat marketing as infrastructure.

Something you build once.
Something that supports you quietly in the background.
Something that still works even when your energy dips.

This episode is designed to relieve the pressure and offer a calmer way forward.

In this episode, you’ll learn:

➝ What calm marketing actually means (and what it isn’t).
➝ Why so many entrepreneurs burn out trying to “keep up” with marketing trends.
➝ How marketing infrastructure replaces constant effort and emotional output.
➝ Why owned media matters more than ever for long-term visibility.
➝ How to shift from reactive marketing tasks to a sustainable foundation.
➝ What calm, consistent marketing looks like for small businesses.
➝ How structure can replace pressure — without reducing visibility.

Buzzword Bingo

Paul breaks down why calm marketing doesn’t rely solely on social platforms.

Instead, it prioritises the assets you actually own in your business:

Owned media creates safety, predictability, and long-term growth, without requiring constant performance.

Who this episode is for

This episode is especially helpful if:

• You feel overwhelmed by marketing.• You’re tired of chasing trends.• Your energy and focus fluctuate.• You want consistent visibility without pressure.• You want marketing to feel supportive, not draining.

If you want a calm place to begin, without pressure or urgency, this episode is supported by a short guide.

Sensitivity Is Strength: The Hidden Advantage of Highly Attuned Entrepreneurs31 Dec 202500:08:47

If you’ve ever felt like your empathy, intuition, or emotional awareness makes business harder, this episode is here to gently flip that belief on its head.

In this solo episode of Fuzzled, Paul explores why sensitivity isn’t a weakness to overcome, but a structural advantage when it’s understood and supported properly. For highly attuned entrepreneurs, ADHDers, deep thinkers, and creatives, success doesn’t come from copying loud, high-pressure marketing tactics. It comes from building trust, resonance, and clarity — the things sensitive people naturally excel at.

This episode breaks down how emotional intelligence creates deeper brand connection, stronger loyalty, and calmer growth, without pushing you into burnout or performative hustle.

In this episode, we explore:

➝ What it really means to be “highly attuned” in business.
➝ Why empathy and emotional intelligence increase trust and conversion.
➝ How sensitivity strengthens communication and brand resonance.
➝ Why many powerful leaders, coaches, and creators are highly sensitive.
➝ How to stop treating sensitivity as something to hide and start designing around it.
➝ Practical ways to set boundaries so your nervous system stays protected as you grow

Buzzword Bingo:

HSP (Highly Sensitive Person)

Paul explains what HSP actually means, where the term comes from, and why you don’t need a label to benefit from understanding your sensitivity. This segment also explores why boundaries are essential for attuned entrepreneurs, not as limits, but as containers for sustainable growth.

The bigger message:

You don’t need to harden yourself to succeed.

You need structure that honours how you’re wired.

When your business is built around clarity, rhythm, and emotional safety, sensitivity becomes your edge, not your enemy.

Structure Beats Hustle: Why Calm Businesses Grow Faster10 Dec 202500:10:39

Most entrepreneurs are taught to push harder, post more, and stay “switched on” if they want to grow. But the truth is simple: calm businesses grow faster because they waste less energy, make clearer decisions, and operate beneath their Energy Ceiling instead of constantly crashing into it.

This solo episode breaks down the psychology and structure behind sustainable business growth.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing everything right but still feel tired, scattered, or stuck, this will help you reset your strategy and nervous system at the same time.

Inside the episode:
• Why hustle leads to chaos, not growth.
• The Energy Ceiling and how to work with it.
• The Anchor Task Methodology and why it changes everything.
• How to spot the Chaos Cloud and Burnout Wall.
• Why structure becomes your business’s nervous system.
• How calm businesses grow faster, last longer, and feel better to run.

Buzzword Bingo:

A triumph-over-struggle story about learning the cost of ignoring capacity and why structure is a form of self-protection, not restriction.

How One PR Win Can Fuel Months of On-Brand Content with Amanda Jane03 Dec 202500:33:21

PR shouldn’t be a one-off moment of excitement. It should be the spark that powers months of meaningful, story-led content.

In this episode, I’m joined by PR visibility and content strategist Amanda Jane, who spent over twenty years in communications, media, and PR before creating her AMPLIFY system, a practical approach that helps entrepreneurs turn fleeting publicity into long-term authority.

We dig into why PR is often misunderstood, why business owners leave their best visibility untapped, and how one single press feature can fuel your content strategy for far longer than you think.

If PR has ever felt out of reach, short-lived, or disconnected from your marketing, this episode will bring a whole new level of clarity.

The Big Breakdown: What We Cover

➝ The real reason people don’t repurpose their PR wins.

➝ How one press feature can fuel months of strategic, on-brand content.

➝ Why journalists think so differently from business owners.

➝ How to connect PR, messaging, and offers so visibility converts.

Inside the Fuzzled Mind: The Two Entrepreneur Types I Built This For14 Nov 202500:07:45

If you’ve ever felt like traditional business advice just doesn’t fit you, this episode explains why.

In this personal and foundational episode, Paul lifts the curtain on the psychology behind Fuzzled and shares the two entrepreneur types that shape everything he teaches:

➝ The Magnetic Core: The deep-feeling, intuitive, emotionally intelligent business owner (often INFJ or HSP) who needs calm, clarity, and alignment.

➝ The Volume Engine: The creative, idea-driven entrepreneur (often ADHD or overthinker) who needs structure, systems, and consistency to channel their brilliance.

Paul explains how these two types experience business and marketing differently and why understanding your natural wiring is the key to building a business rhythm that feels predictable, grounded, and sustainable.

You’ll also hear how his own INFJ Advocate personality creates the balance between calm and structure that sits at the heart of Fuzzled.

In The Big Breakdown

Paul explores:

➝ Why understanding your wiring is the foundation of calm growth.

➝ The common struggles faced by sensitive and creative entrepreneurs.

➝ How to design your marketing rhythm around your brain, not against it.

In Buzzword Bingo

Paul demystifies the terms INFJ, HSP, and ADHD, exploring how these traits influence everything from focus and energy to business decision-making and visibility.

AI, Focus, and the Entrepreneur’s Brain: Cognitive Strategies in a Tech-Driven World with Natalie Mackenzie17 Sep 202500:40:20

If you’ve ever felt like AI tools are speeding up your workflow but frying your brain at the same time, this episode is for you.

Paul is joined by Natalie Mackenzie, Cognitive Strategist, Certified Business Strategist, and all-round brain health geek. Natalie works with entrepreneurs and business owners to help them understand how their brain works best, and how to protect it long term for success.

In The Big Breakdown, we explore:

How AI is affecting our cognitive load and the long-term implications for our brains.
Whether AI is making us smarter or lazier at problem solving.
Practical strategies to stay focused while leveraging AI tools.
Why human connection still matters for brain health, even in an AI-driven world.
The biggest risks AI poses to younger generations.

In Buzzword Bingo, Natalie explains what cognition really means, and why understanding it changes how we approach both tech and business.

    Session Time Limit Prompt

During the episode Natalie asked Paul if you can set a session time limit on ChatGPT to prevent it from causing cognitive overload.

Whilst ChatGPT can act as an accountability partner, the enforcement has to come from you or your device settings. However, here's the prompt mentioned in the episode to help you to protect your time, and brain health.

At the start of your session, tell ChatGPT:

"Act as my time-keeper. I want to use ChatGPT for 20 minutes only. Remind me at the halfway point (10 mins in) and stop answering my questions after 20 minutes, instead telling me to take a break."

That way, it will respect the boundary and stop engaging when the time’s up. Note, you’ll still be able to override it, but it adds friction and accountability.

Fuzzled: From Confusion to Clarity in Digital Marketing. Real talk, smart strategy, and no fluff.

Why Your Content Needs a Better Hook (Not Just a CTA)30 Jul 202500:12:08

You’ve probably been told to always include a Call to Action (CTA) in your content. And that’s true. But here’s the real problem: without a strong hook, no one’s sticking around long enough to get to your CTA.

In this solo episode of Fuzzled, I’m taking you deeper into the ingredient that comes before the CTA, the hook. It’s the first thing people read, hear, or see. And it’s often the most overlooked part of your content strategy.

If you’re tired of creating posts online that fall flat, videos no one watches, or emails with zero opens, this is the missing piece.

In The Big Breakdown you'll learn:

From Meh to Magnetic: How to Write Better CTAs30 Jul 202500:08:14

If you’ve ever ended a post with “Learn more” or “Sign up now” and wondered why nobody clicked… this one’s for you.

In this solo episode of Fuzzled, we’re talking all about CTAs, Calls to Action, and why the generic ones just aren’t cutting it anymore. You’ve probably heard the term before (Rosalyn Parry brought it up previously in Buzzword Bingo!), but knowing what a CTA is… and actually knowing how to write a compelling one are two different things.

In The Big Breakdown, I’ll walk you through:

➝ What a CTA actually is and why it matters.

➝ The difference between a flat CTA and a magnetic one.

➝ Real examples to upgrade your copy instantly (like turning “Download Now” into “Get Instant Access”).

➝ Why your CTA only works if you know the next step you want your audience to take.

In Buzzword Bingo, we rewind to what comes before the CTA, the headline hook. You’ll start to learn how to craft headline hooks that grab attention fast, whether it’s a blog post, a reel, or an email subject line.

In The Content Clinic, I talk about missed CTA opportunities, like Facebook posts with no direction, or website buttons that just say “Learn More” and leave people guessing. We can fix that.

And in Marketing Fails & Holy Moly Moments, a story involving generic CTA copy and the subsequent results.

Simplifying Social Media & Showing Up Authentically – with Jo Lucas18 Jun 202500:34:09

In this episode of Fuzzled, I'm joined by social media mentor Jo Lucas, who helps small business owners cut through the noise and make showing up online feel simple, doable and actually enjoyable.

If you're someone who dreads ‘doing the socials’ or feels pressure to post in a way that doesn’t feel like you, this conversation will help you breathe a little easier.

Jo shares her approach to simplifying social media by focusing on clarity, consistency and speaking like you, not like someone you think you’re supposed to be. We talk about why so many people feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed by social media, and what changes when you focus less on trends and more on true connection.

We also cover why your content pillars matter, how embracing your voice builds confidence and trust in your brand over time and encounter a rather strange sounding marketing buzzword.

It’s a refreshingly real conversation that proves visibility doesn’t have to be complicated. Or fake.
