Ep.109: Carrying Too Much? Letting Go of What Was Never Yours to Hold, with Raquel Kirszenbaum23 May 202501:46:00

Meet Raquel Kirszenbaum — international speaker, educator, and author of Stop Hurting, Start Healing. Raquel is a powerful voice in the world of emotional resilience and faith-based healing. Her work is rooted in real life—vulnerability, adversity, and the courage to ask: “What now?” Instead of offering surface solutions, Raquel invites us to transform pain into purpose, and struggle into strength.

In this episode, she shares how healing doesn’t mean pretending everything is fine—it means gathering wisdom, joy, and emunah through the hard stuff. Her story is a reminder that while we can’t always change our circumstances, we can choose how we grow from them.

YATAR is  the force safeguarding Israel with lightning-fast tactical ATVs. This volunteer counter-terrorism unit is turning the tide in border security and emergency response. YATAR's unique tactical ATVs are designed to respond swiftly to emergencies, reaching off-road locations quickly and serving as the first responders in critical situations such as terrorist attacks, infiltrations, smuggling, and uprisings. They are a mission-driven organization comprised of highly-trained volunteer soldiers, including former IDF combat soldiers and counter-terrorism experts. These soldiers undergo a rigorous selection process to join the unit. On October 7th, they lost 4 soldiers who died defending the kibbutzim and had 2 ATVs destroyed.  Since that day, YATAR has been on the frontlines, operating their specialized ATVs inside Gaza–conducting reconnaissance and combat operations, stealthily transporting special forces, placing explosives in key points, and evacuating wounded soldiers. After revamping a portion of their fleet into medical evacuation ATVs, they have saved over 180 wounded soldiers from inside Gaza. Though many of their activities continue to be classified, their reach doesn't stop there. YATAR also has forces deployed in the Judea and Samaria areas, patrolling and responding to threats. With tensions rising in Lebanon, the IDF has dispatched a part of their unit to the northern border where they remain ready for any escalation. But YATAR can't do it alone. They urgently need your support to expand their security forces.  As a 501c3 non-profit organization, your generous donation enables them to continue saving lives. With 12 new soldiers in need of gear and 8 ATVs required, your donation can make a difference.  Each soldier costs $2,500 to equip, and each ATV is $85,000. Episode Details:
Ben Shapiro is the largest conservative podcast and radio show in the nation. He is the author of eight nonfiction books, including the #1 New York Times best-seller, The Right Side of History: How Reason and Moral Purpose Made the West Great.

Dubbed as "a foe of extraordinary polemical agility" by The Washington Post, Shapiro became a nationally syndicated columnist at age 17 and is one of the most requested speakers on college campuses across the country—despite facing violent opposition by protestors. He graduated UCLA with a bachelor in political science and then Harvard Law School in 2007, before marrying his wife in 2008. The two have been blessed with four children, including the youngest Shapiro born in 2023.

Our discussion with him today is quite distinct from his usual engagements. Here, we're not delving into the realm of politics, but rather, we're exploring a different dimension of thought – the courage to be disliked. Ben’s commitment to pursuing truth and his influence in contemporary politics have made him a prominent voice in the public arena.
