Why don’t we protect children the way we protect celebrities?   I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.   Tragedy struck Wisconsin this week after a teenage female suspect opened fire on fellow students and a teacher at Abundant life Christian School.    And right on cue, the Left turned this horrific incident into fodder for the gun control movement.    President Joe Biden renewed his calls for an assault weapons ban, though it’s important to note that the suspect used a handgun and was a juvenile so, the only law that would have prevented this would have been gun confiscation, which we all know is not constitutional or feasible.   Also to state the obvious, individuals who shoot up schools tend not to follow laws, in general.    But you know what could have prevented this tragedy? The Scripps Spelling Bee added an imaginary word to its competition database to satisfy the feminists.  I’m Tomi Lahren, more next. Forget the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic, the powers that be are going all in on the woke joke.  And that includes the Scripps National Spelling Bee which recently approved the misspelling of the word “women” on its spelling bee “study list” database for third graders. The word “woman” will also be accepted with the letter “Y” in place of the “E.” This was supposedly added as a nod to the feminist spelling of the word.  Scripps spelling bee officials have passed it off by saying Merriam-Webster Dictionary also includes “women” with the misspelled “alternate” spelling. Apparently, the “Y” was adopted in some feminist contexts as a way to fight back against the patriarchy by eliminating the “men” at the end of the word.  China is teaching students quantum physics and we are teaching American students to spell words wrong to satisfy a worthless virtue signal.  I don’t see this ending well, at all.  Make spelling great again and cut the crap! Google didn’t take a hint from Bud Light or the November election, WOKE is SO out of style! I’m Tomi Lahren, more next. Google is getting blasted across social media for a new holiday ad featuring a non-binary influencer. The influencer, Cyrus Veyssi, can be seen in the ad wearing women’s clothing and makeup and using Google to find skincare products.  Cyrus has a huge TikTok audience with over a million followers and is known to promote beauty products typically used by women. And while I understand it’s a free country and folks are able and encouraged to live their lives as they please, pronouns and all, it does seem to be another thumbing of the nose to those who perhaps hold traditional values.  It’s also yet another example of a major company choosing a biological man masquerading as feminine to be the face of products or services geared towards WOMEN! A google spokesperson is dismissing the controversy by saying the post in question is just one in a series of influencer campaigns. That’s all fine and dandy but was Google asleep on November 5? A University of Kansas professor was caught on tape raging against men who won’t vote for Kamala.   I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.   A University of Kansas professor is now on leave after a video circulated online of him raging in front of class about men who won’t vote for Kamala because she’s a woman.   He went so far as to say “we can line all those guys up and shoot them.”   The University of Kansas said in a statement Wednesday that it was “aware” of the video and said the instructor had “made an inappropriate reference to violence.”   The professor is still unidentified and while the university issued an apology on his behalf, that’s not nearly enough.   Why should tuition-paying students be forced to indulge in a professor’s twisted personal opinions on the election?   I’m not sure what this class was on, but I doubt it was “Trump Derangement Syndrome 101!”   Is it really any wonder students enter higher learning as normal or even conservative-leaning and graduate as liberal activists?   And THIS is the kind of junk we’re supposed to bail out in the form of student loan forgiveness?    I think NOT! It’s gonna be another pricey Halloween under Bidenomics!   I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.   Candy prices, like everything else in the Joe and Kamala inflation nation, are soaring ahead of the Halloween holiday.   Americans are projected to drop 3.5 billion dollars on candy this Halloween season and we will be paying more for less.    In 2023, candy prices rose about 7.5% from the previous year and 2024 average prices are on pace to be even higher.    A report from Wells Fargo shows the increase in price for candy and chocolate products is due in part to cocoa beans which is expected to cut production by 14%.   Take that and add in Bidenflation, and your trick-or-treat might look a little more tricky with not so much treat.    Deal gurus suggest buying bulk and opting for items that don’t include chocolate as a main ingredient.    While American politicians can’t control the cocoa bean crops in West Africa where 70% of the product is grown, there’s no doubt American consumers are being punished in EVERY lane of that grocery store, not just the chocolate section!   You can’t blame that one on the cocoa beans!   I’m Tomi Lahren and you watch my show "Tomi Lahren is Fearless" at Outkick.com Learn more about your ad choices. I'm Tomi Lahren, more next.  Last year, Deadspin sports writer Carron Phillips accused a 9-year-old Chief’s fan of racism for his face paint and Native headdress.  He wrote and published an article with the headline, “The NFL needs to speak out against the Kansas City Chiefs fan in Black face, Native headdress,” “They’re doubling up on the racism,” a subhead reads.  The little boy was wearing Chief’s themed face paint and as for the headdress, come to find out, he actually has Native American heritage.  Even so, the boy and his family were subjected to relentless public ridicule, hate messages and death threats over it and decided to file a defamation lawsuit against the sports website over the article.   Deadspin wanted the courts to throw that lawsuit out, claiming since it was an opinion piece the outlet couldn’t be held liable.  Well too bad, because this week Superior Court Judge Sean Lugg, denied Deadspin’s motion to dismiss and the lawsuit will move forward.  The judge noted that “Deadspin published an image of a child displaying his passionate fandom as a backdrop for its critique of the NFL’s diversity efforts and, in its description of the child, crossed the fine line protecting its speech from defamation claims.” Deadspin is finding out the hard way that when you cry racism, you better have your facts straight! CBS’ 60 minutes is accused of selective editing in favor of Kamala Harris. I’m Tomi Lahren, more next. To make up for her months-long media avoidance, Kamala is working overtime on her media blitz tour this week and if you think it’s going well for her you either: A) Haven’t been watching or listening  B) You are flat out lying Part of her media tour was a taped appearance on CBS’ 60 minutes and while the aired version didn’t make Kamala look great, viewers noticed some selective edits on the YouTube version that made it come off as less bad! 60 Minutes host Bill Whitaker asked Kamala about Israel and whether Prime Minister Netanyahu was listening to the U.S. and whether the administration had any sway over Israel’s decision-making. Now the answer that aired was a long and rambling world salad that was quickly mocked on social media.  BUT the version CBS posted to Youtube was noticeably edited and cut down to make her answer sound much more concise and declarative.  There are no time constraints for YouTube posting that would’ve made this edit necessary so the only logical reason for it would be an effort to make Kamala look better! Former First Lady Melania Trump is pro-choice and that disclosure might actually help her husband in the election! I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.  Former First Lady Melania Trump releases her highly anticipated memoir “Melania” this week and it’s already making political waves for unexpected reasons. In her memoir and in subsequent interviews, Melania has made it clear she supports abortion rights saying she believes women ought to have bodily autonomy and that she is for individual liberty free from government intervention.  In her “Sunday Morning Futures” interview, the former First Lady also declared that her husband has known about her abortion stance since the day they met.  However, prior to her memoir, Melania hasn’t declared her abortion stance publicly.  So it’s no surprise that folks were surprised to learn it.  Not only do I personally agree with her stance, I think it’ll help Donald Trump in the election, and especially with women voters who are concerned about a federal ban.  It also shows that while they may not agree on all policies, Donald respects his wife and her convictions.  All of this is positive in an otherwise very negative election cycle!
