After experiencing heartbreak almost a decade ago and doing her own self-work and authorship of a poetry collection on healing, Coralie felt like she had finally found her perfect match, and a safe harbor and landing space for her heart.

However, she shares with hindsight numerous red flags she overlooked or rationalized to hold onto this connection, and how trying to show unconditional love to her partner in his darkest moments almost cost Coralie her life. Reflecting on finding a balance berween empathy and boundaries; loving someone else without betraying yourself; and healing from the addictive highs and lows created from narcissistic abuse — Coralie shares from a place of vulnerability and insight informed by the healing that has taken place since she left.

Coralie explores what creating a life worth living can look like post-abuse, and her determination to find some type of healing and growth after losing what felt like everything.
