In this episode, Jef, Josh and Brian decided to do a couple things they have not done in a while. First off they saw not one but two brand new horror films as they were released onto the big screens. Second they decided to do a single episode talking about both films just like they did in the old days when they were more stupid and Brian and Josh still had luscious heads full of hair. The FM3 starts off with "Late Night With the Devil" and then head to Rome to chat about "Immaculate"and finish it all off with some more talk about "Late Night With the Devil". It is a chonky ass episode but the Forever Midnight crew would deliver nothing less for thy Lord requires it. In this Episode the FM3 check out a handpicked horror movie by one of their Top Dawg Patrons! This time around the flick is the 2019 zombie romp "Blood Quantum" by the late Jeff Barnaby.  Yep, Jef, Josh and Brian watched yet another zombie movie, and although the guys are a little tired of them and there are some tropes that any and all zombie films fall into, the crew were excited to check out the zombie apocalypse thru the lense of indigenous folks and how things might be on a reservation in Canada when the living dead start rising. In this episode Josh and Brian's favorite 90's horror kid turns into a 90's horror man on the eve of his Birthday! That's right Forever Midnight's very own Jef overn turned 40 and In what is becoming tradition,The guys had the birthday boy choose a flick for the crew to watch and talk about. Jef without hesitation chose the 1994 scary hairy wolfman movie "Wolf" starring Jack Nicholson as the titular WOOF!! The FM3 never realized how much they would enjoy seeing old Jackie boy with a couple fists full of short and curlies! This newer more modern take on the Wolfman story also stars Michelle Pfiefer and James Spader both literally chewing up their scenes, making this 90's movie monster installment one worth checking out. If only to see a wild ass revenge story featuring a wolfman with a receding hairline! ahhhwooooo!!!

In this episode the FM3 takes a trip back to 1974 to check out a little film called "Sugar Hill".  This voodoo zombie revenge flick stands alone in a sea full of blaxploitation and horror pictures. Although it's budget was modest and its modest actors were budget, this is one of those movies that even if you don't like it overall, it has a charm that sticks in you, like a needle poked into the head of a magical doll. You can't forget what you have seen, you won't forget what you have seen. There may not be actual sugar or candy at the top of this hill but there is a sweet ass supernatural showdown with Baron Samedi and his ping pong ball eyed minions coming for you!

In this episode Josh figured he would pick the crew another well known banger to watch and chat about it. He was not wrong, Puppet Master (1989) is definitely a known movie. Now listen as the guys debate about its "BANGER" status and whether or not the Forever Midnight Horror Podcast will continue on with Toulon! 

In this episode the FM3 are dipping their toes back into the Crypt Keeper's spooky old swimming hole! This time around Jef and Josh both picked episodes for the crew to check out! After years and years of not doing an episode on this legendary production nightmare, Jef finally picks "The Island Of Dr. Moreau"(1996)! In this episode The FM3 dive under the soft linens of Brando's jungle diaper to reveal and converse about the many shady shenanigans that happened during the making of this furry film and the fact that even thru all of the hyena and pig shit two thirds of Forever Midnight still love this movie. Listeners, be sure to don your full body sunblock and fill your ice bucket helmets to the tippy top - you're gonna need all the help you can get for this lumpy bumpy down under dumpy.

In this episode the FM3 headed towards the more populated waters of horror and ended up in the poltergeist pit of Dario Argento's 1985 film "Phenomena" AKA "Creepers".  To their pleasant surprise there was a monkey acting a fool in this Argento Classic and they aren't talking about Donald Pleasence! This flick is filled with all kinds of wild stuff: insects, motorhead, freaky kids, decapitations, and trippy ass sleep walking dreamscapes - all to confuse and entice Jef, Josh and Brian into enjoying their time with it. Plus it has a monkey in it!! 

In this episode the FM3 got another top dawg Patreon pick, this time hailing all the way from Canada! One of Forever Midnight's wonderful patrons wanted the guys to check out Álex de la Iglesia's 1995 movie "The Day of the Beast'' (El día de la bestia). The guys went in pretty blind to this one and were pleasantly surprised by what awaited them...Satan, Sinning, and Psychedelics...Sounds like a party! In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian point their time machine to rural Wisconsin in the late 80's to check in on the legendary clown shoe-string budget horror film "Blood Harvest".  They had long heard about "the scary movie that Tiny Tim plays a clown" but each of them had never seen it.  So making their way to a farm in the middle of nowhere they witnessed the making (all two days of it) of a truly forgettable slasher, but holy guacamole it sure did star Tiny Tim as a mentally deranged clown and that fine listeners is the real reason why we are all gathered here today...to bask in the genius and extreme weirdness of Tiny Tim as Marvelous Mervo and maybe some prime time boobies...

In this episode, The FM3 have their poison served up warm and squiggly by a wonderful top level Patron from Patreon. The poison in this case is the polarizing 1981 film "Possession" by writer/director Andrzej Zulawski. Jef, Josh and Brian are finally ready to tackle this legendary movie at least in the public's ears. In this episode the FM3 sit down and talk about the newest installment in the Insidious franchise 'The Red Door". It seems just like poor Dalton the Forever Midnight crew have a case of the old brain fog aka "The Further Farts" when it comes to figuring out the timeline for these Insidious/Conjuring movies. Brian and Josh (especially) need some help from Patrick Wilson or at least from Patrick Wilson dressed as Ed Warren to "conjure up" some of the what's and how's and why's of all these very similar movies. In this week's episode the FM3 have a nice little techno-horror film plopped in their laps by one of their top level Patrons. "Pulse" AKA "Kairo" or "Circuit" in Japanese is an interesting take on the idea of ghosts and their relation to technology directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. Jef, Josh and Brian had never seen it before and were excited to have this one picked for them. This film follows two groups that discover evidence that ghosts might be trying to invade the human world via the internet. Its take on the sheer loneliness caused by our broken connections from using this technology seems light years ahead of what we all thought about the world wide web in 2001. In this week's episode, the FM3, get the hell out of Canada and find themselves in sunny Australia, the land of big bugs, jacked studs and ugly mugs! Well only ugly and jacked if you were one of the "actors" in the 1993 ozploitation film "Body Melt". For years the Forever Midnight Crew held high hopes that this movie would bring them a treasure trove of the grossest and goriest deaths to ever grace the silver screen. The holy grail if you will of juicy, slippery bodies turning into kangaroo stew movies.  But once again, Jef, Josh and Brian learn some hard lessons when it comes to getting their hopes up and how quickly their hopes can split open and turn to shit like an overcooked hot dog. In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian find themselves back in the land of beautiful blue denim. That's right, you guessed it CANADA!!  The crew is outside of an upscale clothing store waiting for their newest experimental Jeans to drop. But as the FM3 rush the doors to get their asses in some fancy pants they are met with a blood soaked army of killer denim. The guys have two choices: battle the blue jeans or figure out why the denim is on a murderous rampage. Quick decisions were made and the guys figured when would be the next time they could fight some haunted pants...So weapons were gathered and The Forever Midnight crew put up a good fight but alas the ghost pants kicked their butts and drank their butt blood. This episode is dedicated to the best damn horror podcast there ever was...hopefully they are looking down on you from the big jean shorts in the sky hoping you enjoy this episode.

In this episode, Jef, Josh and Brian hop in the not so way-back machine and travel to the 1990's. The mission was to see the aftermath of a post "Scream" world where every studio and director just wanted the hottest young doofs in Hollywood and had a total and complete lack of ideas and love for the genre. The FM3 crash landed in 1998 trying to get there in time to disrupt the making of Urban Legend in hopes of ending the production but alas they were too late and they arrived on opening day September 25th, 1998. As they saw the young people pouring in to watch UL1, they decided to finally give it a watch...what you are about to hear is an account of what befell this group of horror podcasters, it is all more tragic that they were old and jaded and knew this movie was gonna be dog shit, but they could not have expected nor would they have wished to see any more "Scream" rip-offs. For them an idyllic time travelling afternoon would become a nightmare as they could not stop or reverse the ripples these types of films would make for years and years to come...

So slap your altered reality helmet on cause the boys are visiting Uncle Cronenberg this week!! 

In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian watched the highly anticipated new film from Tilman Singer "Cuckoo"! The crew have a fun time trying to crack open and dissect this wild ass creature feature ride through the German Alps. Although they might have gotten stuck a little bit on the mating behaviors presented in the film and who can blame them?!
