I share how I had to dismantle my own internal beliefs about the legitimacy and value of pleasure and how feminine embodiment has helped me. And it's through the body that we access creativity, intuition, and magnetism in business which are the ingredients that help our businesses grow.

Ever feel like you’re pouring your heart into your business, but the results just aren’t matching your effort? 

We’re all told to get strategic, that we must post more, we need to sell differently, we need to try harder. But no one is talking about what happens when you’re running on empty inside. 

When you wake up and go to sleep with your business looping in your mind. When every social post that flops gnaws away at your self-worth. When you’re doing all the prescribed things but the results don’t match that, and all you feel is stuck and totally disconnected from the work you're doing.  

In this episode, I take you behind the scenes of my own experience navigating that uncomfortable place in business where the money you get just doesn’t reflect the amount of effort you’re giving. 

I share how I ended up in a cycle of panic and throwing spaghetti against the wall, and why that eventually led me to rebuilding my business in a completely different way.

In this episode, I’m joined by my 1:1 client Denita Acker for a conversation about what shifted when she stopped living in her head, and started listening to her body.


Denita lives and works in Washington D.C., in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. For high achievers this struggle  could even be worse when your internal boundaries are overridden by your internal drive.

Boundaries are core to how safe you feel being yourself.  And we all know that reactive boundaries aren’t sustainable.

What if there was a way to complete our year, and create the next that we desire to step into, in a more feminine way? As the end of the year is nearing, many of us may feel pressure to still fit in a few things that we didn’t get around to.   This pressure puts our nervous system into fight/flight, and we start to rely on our masculine energy to pull us through.

Even though tapping into our masculine in this way is helpful, because it puts us into action and helps us move forward, when we stay in this energy for too long, we lose connection to our feminine energy.  We lose connection to our body, our feeling flowing feminine state because we are spending so much time up in our mental world. 

We are skilled in our masculine energy, and there's nothing wrong with that. We've come very far as a result of being able to tap into our masculine in this way.  However, many of us are waking up to the knowing that this is no longer enough. It doesn't fulfil us. We don't feel satisfied. 

We have a longing and a yearning for more depth, more richness, and more aliveness. And so we need to start doing things differently so that we can step into the fullness of our feminine power. 

Today on the podcast, I’m sharing with you practices for doing things differently to end this year and step into the next in a way that feels more spacious and abundant.
