Happy New Moon, fam! We're joined by Megan Liebmann in this Healers On The Mend episode covering the significance of this solar eclipse in the sign of Aries, as well as the New Moon, in all their fiery glory. This eclipse and moon continue this theme of initiatory energy and call extra attention to the importance of healthy boundaries, knowing thyself, and which "fires" to tend and which to extinguish. We cover the energetic influences of fiery Aries and the connection between anger, inflammation, hot bloodedness and health, particularly in relation to Aries and the liver. Welcome to 2023, wild fam! Tune in as we explore our first full moon of this (Gregorian calendar) year falling in the sign of Cancer, the spiritual significance of this time and day (January 6th), and a special New Year Akashic Soul Nourishment reading for the collective! I share some personal reflections of 2022, including major decisions, shifts, and surprises in my personal and professional life, celebrating some key milestones and manifestations. We take a look at the deeper meaning of the past 12 days and 13 holy nights and January 6th marking Epiphany or Three Kings Day, and the liminal space provided for spiritual connection and deep introspection. As the Earth rhythmically breathes in and out through the seasons of the year, we find ourselves reflecting nature's season of in-breathing, as we experience the awakening of our own spiritual selves and internal world. I also share some of my favorite Cancer-related herbal allies that we can work with to support our nervous system, bellies, and sensibilities. We cover the difference between the individual experience vs collective waves, how divine timing plays a role in the healership journey, and the critical need to cultivate discernment when exploring root issues. We also look at why somatic and nervous system work is so critical, especially when in a process of spiritual awakening. Ultimately, there is always the availability of Choice - I provide some questions to ask yourself in a process of self-inquiry that can be helpful to explore your own ability to choose and provide clues to your personal blocks related to your healership. "The time for speaking about demons is ripe; in fact, the time is overripe." ~ Are Thoresen This might be the most critical conversation we've had on the podcast yet… we're speaking with Are Thoresen, Norwegian anthroposophist, author, veterinarian, acupuncturist and clairvoyant on the topic of demons and healing. His writing reveals his decades-long career in healing as well as his own spiritual experiences, encounters with elementals, and his deep understanding of spiritual streams. Are's work has helped me understand so much of what I have experienced personally and professionally, through the Akashic Records, working with clients and throughout my life. It's part of a larger conversation regarding the spiritual world: That it's not something outside of us… but rather as spiritual beings, it informs every aspect of our lived experience, especially our health. In this potent interview, we talk about Are's experience being able to see spiritual beings, including elements, nature spirits, and demons - he does a breakdown of the spiritual world and dimensions, including the elemental, etheric and astral worlds, as well as the layer that contains demons. We discuss how demonic beings are created and humanity's great burden and destiny in this process. How disease patterns are connected to demons, and created and "translocated" from person to person, especially from adults to children and animals. Are shares the important difference between translocating vs transforming disease and demons, and why most modern forms of medicine only translocate (which according to Are is not enough).
