Sometimes we love the shows or movies that we watch and other times we really do not like them, but regardless of what we watch, we love to get together and talk about it and bring joy to all of our listeners!

This week's cinematic journey took us back in time with the film Inu-Oh, a gem suggested by CJ from Anime Anonymous. Both of us found it to be a fantastic watch. The movie offered a fresh perspective on historical storytelling, blending unique theatrical elements with an unexpected rock and roll twist, making it fun in its own way. Though the plot left a little to be desired, the overall experience was thoroughly enjoyable.

FAP-288 Solo Leveling - All About Leveling Up With #TokyoTreat

This week we talk about Solo Leveling an anime that both Jack and Rick were looking forward to with them being fans of the source material, they were pleased to see the justice that was done on the show. There were several points where they got lost in the details but then since that is nothing new and over all they loved the series and are excited for more seasons to hopefully come soon.

What a great choice by CJ and we thank him for the great recommendation. The story was solid and enjoyable. The contrast in animation style. The art and music for it were all done beautifully. The deeper meanings behind everything for us and the sub-story that was going with growth were well done. It is certainly a movie that we highly recommend.

FAP-197 In The Land Of Leadale - An Easy Watch With No Answers

This week came at the recommendation of Old Jeb and it was a cute easy watch but we were left with so many questions. With the anime still being so new at the time of recording, we can only hope that there will be a season 2.
Additionally, there were so many conflicts and inconsistencies that the show actually, to us at least, contradicted itself. But still, it was an easy watch.

FAP-196 The Secret World of Arrietty - Those Beans Are Dangerous!

It was another recommendation from Angel from Chile. But this time it was not as great as the other ones that were recommended but it still was a solid choice. The story was solid especially since it was adapted from a 1950s children's book. The artwork and thought that went into it was solid and the world-building made it a beautiful work of art like always. But sadly even with all that it was still a meh experience for us.

Another great recommendation for us we both really enjoyed this week's choice and we really have fun with it. We delve into the show and our views on some aspects of it. The story behind it is fairly solid even though there are some things in it that make you go "Hmmm". Over all though it is worth the watch.

FAP-194 Maquia: when the promised flower blooms - A Book Written In Fabric

Another great recommendation for this weels choice and we both loved watching it. It was a movie that told a touching story about growth love and loss that spans the years of a couple of individuals. 1 that lives for hundreds of years and a normal human raised by her.

This week talk about the Combatants Will BE Dispatched! which was a recommendation from Ace and CJ from Anime Anonymous Podcast. Check out the episode link below! This week's choice was a fun one for us. Though it did get a little weird at times it was still a good show to watch. If you have seen KonoSuba you are likely to enjoy this. There is one bugaboo though. There is 1 character that just rubs us the wrong way (the other characters in the show too felt the same way.) So if you are easily offended or disgusted then this show will likely not be for you. But we enjoyed it and had a lot of fun watching it.
