My Family is Facing Another Hurricane – God Is With Us
03 Oct 2024
00:10:34
Almost exactly 2 years to the day of Hurricane Ian hitting our home in Ft. Myers, Florida, we are once again living through another devastating storm. My family recently moved back to my hometown of Boone, North Carolina – just one of the communities across the Southeast where Hurricane Helene caused widespread damage. Today, I’m sharing how my husband and I are talking about Hurricane Helene with my kids and how the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse are serving in the hardest-hit areas now recovering from Florida to Georgia and South Carolina, and across the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee.
People are Flawed. Candidates are Flawed. Our Vote Goes Beyond the Ballot Box.
24 Sep 2024
00:41:03
We’ve all seen the chaos surrounding the elections, political parties, and candidates. It seems to get worse each and every day with no end in sight. What many don’t realize is that our vote goes beyond the halls of the White House, beyond the U.S. borders. Why do our vote and prayers matter when we go to the ballot box in November? My friend, Pam Pryor spent her entire career working in politics—she is who I go to anytime I have questions on politics, Washington, DC, or the American church—and I’ve asked her to join Fearless to talk about what’s at stake for us here and how it affects those around the world.
Summer Encore Series: A Cultural Hurricane – Can Your Foundation Stand Through the Storm?
09 Jul 2024
00:30:42
Can your home withstand the storms that we are facing today? The Fearless “Summer Encore Series” – some of your favorite past episodes – continues today with a look back at a special episode I recorded at the home of my grandparents, Billy & Ruth Graham. The bedrock of my family started with my grandparents – and they instilled God’s Word into every one of their children and grandchildren so that when we face cultural wars we can stand on a firm foundation rooted in Scripture.
If you’ve heard this episode before, I hope you’ll share it with someone who needs encouragement as they face storms in their own life.
The demonstrations in Washington, D.C. on January 6th were a stark reminder that 2021 may not provide the relief from 2020 many of us were hoping for. But they’re also a reminder of the importance of placing our faith in God this new year.
In this first episode of 2021 I want to encourage you to be prepared for whatever 2021 holds. We cannot grow weary. As Daniel 11:32 tells us, those who know their God will be able to stand in strength and take action.
Episode 37: Do Not Be Afraid – A Christmas Message
21 Dec 2020
00:24:29
Show Notes
Christmas is just a few days away. One tradition that I started last year with my family is a photo album – with real printed photos – of the past year. As I was looking back at the photos from 2020, I felt grateful for more time spent with my family. I know not many people will look back at 2020 the same way. But I am reminded this Christmas week, that if we know God’s Word and have confidence in it, we can be assured that the Lord is with us. Mary’s story tells us this exact same message: Nothing is impossible with God.

Episode 36: Legacy Series - Giving Thanks and Praise
24 Nov 2020
00:26:05
Show Notes
After my grandfather passed away a couple of years ago, I started contemplating the legacy that he left behind. Some of the sweetest times we shared were gathered around the table as a family at his house in the mountains of North Carolina. As we head toward the end of the year and look back on 2020, I thought it was a great time to reflect on a tradition we have in our family – and a command that we are given repeatedly in God’s Word.
Episode 35: A Glimpse Inside the Life of My Favorite Veteran – An Interview with My Brother, Edward Graham
10 Nov 2020
00:41:01
Show Notes
November 11 is Veterans Day, a special day to remember and honor all of those who have served in our military. In light of this day, I sat down with a very special guest, my brother Edward Graham, who is a veteran himself.
Edward graduated from the United States Military Academy, also known as West Point, in 2003, just two years after 9/11. He served in eight combat deployments within special operations forces, and recently left his beloved military career to serve alongside my dad, Franklin Graham, at Samaritan’s Purse.
In this episode of Fearless, we talk about what Veterans Day means for those who served in the military, how Edward’s faith in Jesus Christ affected his mission, and ways that he and his fellow veterans can continue to serve the United States with the skills they’ve been given by God. Today, and every day, we are so thankful for our veterans and the sacrifices they’ve made for our country.
Episode 34: Win or Lose, Trusting God with the Election Results
04 Nov 2020
00:12:52
Show Notes
The 2020 elections have been said to be one of the most pivotal elections of our lifetime. Many experts have even said that it is the most critical since the election of Abraham Lincoln. As I was sitting in my quiet house on the eve of Election Day, I was wondering what my message would be when we found out the results. I was reminded of 2 Chronicles 20, when Jehoshaphat turned to God – this battle is not ours, it belongs to God. No matter who wins or loses, my message, my job, and my passions will remain the same. This year hasn’t taken God by surprise. The next days and weeks might be shocking to us, yet no matter the results the sun will still rise and God will still sit on His Throne.
Episode 33: 2 Parties, 2 Visions for America – Who Will Govern You?
26 Oct 2020
00:17:52
Show Notes
I’ve always been passionate about religion and politics, but I know that not everyone my age, especially Christian millennials, shares the same sentiments towards this topic. Someone even once told me that he didn’t believe Christians should have roles in politics.
In this episode I want to encourage you not to look at the word ‘politics,’ but let’s look at it as ‘governance’ and who will govern over you. Right now, we have two political parties fighting over how they will govern us.
40 million evangelicals did not vote in 2016, and many said it’s because they did not love either candidate. As I hear that again this year, I want to remind you that love has never been the standard regarding who we vote for. The standard is the policies that a candidate represents and their ability to lead this country.
Whether or not you love a certain candidate, as Christians and as Americans, we have been given the opportunity to vote in order to protect our families, our neighbors, and our freedoms. With the 2020 election just around the corner, this episode of the #FearlessPodcast addresses some things I want to encourage you to think about as you prepare to head to the polls.
Social Media
Many people are weary of the political climate as we near the 2020 election, and like 2016 when 40 million evangelicals didn’t vote, I hear the same conversations happening today.
Episode 32: Indoctrination Through Education | School Board Meeting Follow-Up
13 Oct 2020
00:29:33
I started my last social media post with a statement: “Recognizing a group which has overcome a lot of barriers.”
In our county in Florida, where my children attend school, the idea was proposed to “celebrate” LGBTQ+ History Month in schools where kids of all ages would be taught this sexual ideology.
I have been talking about taking a stand for the education of our children a lot lately. Being a mom and a Christian with a public platform, I receive letters from parents all across the country who have great concern over what their kids are being taught in schools.
Recently, I received a message from a grandmother of a fourth grader after a book was sent home about two boys falling in love and kissing. We have seen in Virginia schools where there have been books about LGBT in kindergarten.
When this issue came to my own doorstep this week, I had to practice what I preach.
Why has sexual ideology become the forefront of educational endeavors? And why would you introduce teaching something like sexuality to kindergarten-aged kids that can’t even tie their own shoes? Why do school districts want to take the place of parents?
I address these questions, my experience this week at my local school board meeting, and my suggestions for how we should approach this on the #FearlessPodcast.
Episode 31: Indoctrination through Education | Will We Fight for Our Kids?
28 Sep 2020
00:51:26
Show Notes As Christian parents, it’s important that we know what our school system is teaching our children. I believe that we are in a battle, a spiritual war, for our children’s hearts, minds, and souls in this country. We need to be prepared to stand up for our children and speak biblical truth into their lives. Will we sit back and allow the secular left to win our children over, or are we going to fight for them?
On today’s episode of Fearless, I’ve invited my friend Todd Chasteen, Vice President of Public Policy and Corporate Counsel at Samaritan's Purse, to discuss these educational issues and help encourage you in truth as you advocate for your children.
Episode 30: Back to School | Making Decisions in a Chaotic Time
08 Sep 2020
00:25:27
Each year the new school season brings a certain chaos, and this year is no different. There’s been a lot of debate over schooling methods, and many people asked about what my husband and I decided to do with our children this fall regarding the new school year and their education. Today’s podcast episode is all about navigating this chaotic back to school season. Whether you’ve chosen homeschooling, online/virtual learning, in-person classes or a hybrid of the options, I encourage you to trust God in the process and bring your concerns to Him.
Episode 29: Faith Through Fear | An interview with Andrew and Norine Brunson
28 Aug 2020
00:52:50
Most of us will never know what true persecution is. Pastor Andrew Brunson and his wife Norine do. They were arrested and imprisoned in Turkey — where they planted a church and served for more than 20 years — because of their religious beliefs. After two years, Andrew Brunson was released from prison. I had the chance to sit down with the Brunsons a few weeks ago in Alaska. At the time, I didn't know that Andrew and I would stand on the national stage this week during the Republican National Convention, he talking about his release from prison in Turkey and I talking about religious freedom. When I asked Andrew Brunson to join me on the #FearlessPodcast, his answer is one that I did not expect – I think you’ll be shocked at what his reply was.Scripture Referenced•Isaiah 11•Hebrews 13:3Going Farther•Decision Magazine – Articles on Andrew Brunson https://decisionmagazine.com/search/andrew+brunson/ •God’s Hostage: A true story of persecution, imprisonment, and perseverance https://www.godshostagebook.com/ Websites:•Billy Graham Evangelistic Association -- https://billygraham.org/•Billy Graham Radio -- https://billygraham.org/tv-and-radio/radio/•Samaritan’s Purse -- https://www.samaritanspurse.org/ Facebooks:•Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BillyGrahamEvangelisticAssociation/•Billy Graham Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ReverendBillyGraham/•Billy Graham Radio Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/billygrahamradio/
Summer Encore Series: Celebrate True Freedom This Fourth of July
02 Jul 2024
00:25:26
“Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you. Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. One died for your soul; the other for your freedom.” This quote hangs outside the Samaritan’s Lodge in Alaska where my family and I are serving with Samaritan’s Purse this month with Operation Heal Our Patriots.
The Fourth of July reminds me of the importance of our nation’s freedoms. Today kicks off the “Summer Encore Series” on Fearless, where I share some of your favorite past episodes, with an old, but timely message about finding true freedom—the freedom that only Jesus can provide.
We are so thankful to all those military veterans that we will meet this summer and for all those that have served and continue to serve our great nation. I pray that this episode of Fearless will encourage you to find true freedom this summer!
Episode 28: Adventure will have Adversity - An interview with Tammie Jo Shults
16 Jul 2020
00:43:00
Show Notes Nerves of Steel. That’s how many people described Tammie Jo Shults in 2018 after she landed a Southwest Airlines plane that had lost an engine. But even before that fateful day, Tammie Jo had a fearless faith that took her from a farm in Texas to being one of the US Navy’s first female fighter jet pilots. I had the honor of speaking with Tammie Jo as she visited military couples at Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Heal Our Patriots. Hear how her #fearlessfaith helped her overcome life’s biggest challenges on today’s #FearlessPodcast.

Episode 27: Seems Right; But Is It Righteous?: America in Turmoil
25 Jun 2020
00:34:42
Show Notes We live in a time where our country–our world–needs healing and reconciliation. Since I started the #FearlessPodcast, my desire has been to help Christians navigate their faith through an ever-changing and ever-compromising culture. Today, I am once again challenging Christians to know what they believe and why they believe it – and to know the facts and truth of the organizations they support; to know that we are giving our time, money, and attention to God-honoring issues and platforms.

Episode 26: What Can I Do?: America in Turmoil
05 Jun 2020
00:24:16
Show Notes After the heinous death of George Floyd and events following, it is apparent that racism is deeply rooted in the hearts of many today. All week I’ve wrestled with the questions in my head – and maybe you’re wondering the same: what can I do? From my grandfather’s words to what God has laid on my own heart, today on #Fearless I’m addressing racism and the turmoil in America today.

Episode 25: The Gift of Freedom Demands Much from Us in Return
22 May 2020
00:31:27
Show Notes “The United States and the freedom for which it stands, the freedom for which they died, must endure and prosper. Their lives remind us that freedom is not bought cheaply. It has a cost; it imposes a burden.” – Ronald Reagan
Today I’m joined by a special guest – my sister-in-law Kristy Graham – who challenged me several years ago to reevaluate how my family and I recognize Memorial Day. Kristy has spent 16 years as a military wife, married to my brother Edward, who served in the U.S. Army. Today on the #FearlessPodcast, Kristy and I are talking about the real reason we recognize this day and want to encourage you and your family to do the same. We’ll also hear from Kristy’s friend, Lisa, who is a Gold Star Wife and lost her husband.

Episode 24: Reopening America—The Questions We Should Ask
21 May 2020
00:12:45
Show Notes America is approaching the end of quarantine from the coronavirus pandemic and beginning to reopen. While that looks different from state to state, and even from community to community, it affects us all. Today on the #FearlessPodcast I am sharing the questions we as Christians and Americans need to ask as we reflect on the last few months and begin to move forward. And I’ll take a quick look at why we need to have a fearless faith especially as we face a time when cultural circumstances could compromise our religious freedom.

Episode 22: Satan’s Lies in Quarantine
24 Apr 2020
00:24:47
SHOW NOTES During this season of sheltering in place, Satan has tried to whisper to me that my worth and value are based only on the things I’m no longer able to do. Maybe he’s tried to tell you the same lies. In this episode of Fearless, I talk about the importance of using Scripture to stay focused on the truth of God. I also look at sweet reminders from the Bible that Jesus meets you right where you are.

09 Apr 2020
00:22:05
SHOW NOTES This Easter is not going to look like previous Easters. Not only is the coronavirus keeping us from being able to celebrate with friends in church, it’s reminding us of the darkness of death. But as Christians we know who conquers that darkness and holds the victory in our lives. In this episode of Fearless, I look at the hope everyone can find in the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Growing up as a Graham, Accepting Your Calling and Leaving a Powerful Legacy – with Franklin Graham
18 Jun 2024
00:54:12
What do you want your legacy to be? For the past five years, I’ve shared about what it means to live fearlessly for your faith in a world that wants to destroy Biblical values. I’ve been able to do this because of the godly legacy that my grandparents and parents have passed down – that God is faithful to those who never compromise the Gospel.
Today, my dad, Franklin Graham, is joining me to answer questions I’ve never asked him before about his life, what he wants his legacy to be, his relationship with his parents, and how God changed his life 50 years ago in Israel.
Thank you for being a part of the #FearlessPodcast whether this is your first episode or you’ve been along for this journey for the last five years. I hope we can continue the conversations we have, helping you have a fearless faith in a compromising culture.
Episode 18: Legacy Series -- My Grandfather's Greatest Example
04 Mar 2020
00:21:41
Show Notes Today I am starting a new series on the #FearlessPodcast called the Legacy Series. I want to share with you some of what I have learned from my grandfather, Billy Graham, my grandmother, Ruth Graham, and from my parents. We just passed the second anniversary of my grandfather’s passing and going to Heaven. Over the last two years, I have been writing down notes and different things that I have learned from him. Today I want to share with you the number one thing I’ve learned from my Daddy Bill – and thanks to technology, we will get to hear some of his own words.

Show Notes I’ve recently been able to travel with my dad a little bit more than normal. We just returned from the UK where his upcoming Graham Tour has come up against opposition. Dad and I talk about what it’s like to be a Christian in these difficult times. We also talk about how my grandfather also faced the same challenges more than 60 years ago when he came to the UK; and about the anniversary of his passing two-years ago.

Episode 16: Cissie Lynch and Adrienne Camp
04 Feb 2020
00:37:48
Show Notes I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Adie Camp. I’ve known her for just a short time now and I’m excited for you to get to know her as well. Many will know her as the wife of Jeremy Camp – but what you may not know is that she was a successful musician herself before marrying Jeremy. Adie is strong and beautiful and an inspiration to me in how she balances being a wife and mother during a busy season of life. We sat down during my dad’s Decision America Tour and had a chance to talk about marriage, kids, anxiety, and God’s grace and love.

Episode 15: Standing for Life in a Secular World
22 Jan 2020
00:30:15
Show Notes Most Christians would take a stance as pro-life. But are you able to stand on a platform and discuss what you believe and why you believe it? This week marks the 47th anniversary of Roe vs Wade. Abortion is such a controversial topic, with far-left Democrats going so far as saying they would murder newborn babies. We need to be able to defend our position on why the sanctity of life is so important. Listen to my new Fearless episode, where I address this polarizing topic and discussing how to have a conversation as a Christian and in a secular world about why abortion goes against God’s Word. The 47th March for Life is this Friday in Washington D.C. and in cities across the country. Let’s continue to pray for this nation and our leaders as many are taking a strong stand on this subject.

Episode 14: Christians and Politics
09 Jan 2020
00:24:57
Show Notes It’s 2020 – an election year. Many people think Christians should not speak about politics. I disagree. It is our responsibility as Christians to address issues from a biblical perspective. I’ve traveled the world through my work with Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and seen countries where people don’t have the have the right to vote or have a voice on politics. We have the right and responsibility many others do not, so it’s up to us to learn—to gain knowledge that’s available at our fingertips—on the issues and candidates to make informed decisions about issues. Today I am talking about this and how I believe we not only should, but also need to, engage in political and religious conversation – remembering to have those conversations full of grace, truth and love.

26 Nov 2019
00:31:20
Show Notes As the holidays are approaching, I know for myself, this can be a busy season and it can be a stressful season. On today’s episode of the #FearlessPodcast I am talking about how we can have a heart of praise and thankfulness this holiday season. This is my last episode for 2019 but I will be back in January 2020. I wish you all a happy Thanksgiving and very merry Christmas.

Episode 12: Finding Balance When Society Says You Can Have it All
13 Nov 2019
00:42:51
Show Notes We live in a society that is very pro-women right now. But, how do we do what’s best for us from a biblical perspective? The last few years have been difficult for me in trying to find balance – of being a wife first, then a mom, and doing the work I feel like God has called me to do – all while honoring God. Today, I’ve asked a few colleagues to join in a discussion about how to balance being a working mom.

Episode 11: Your Questions—Answered
29 Oct 2019
00:33:46
Show Notes I’m often asked questions ranging from my personal opinions to spiritual guidance to memories from my childhood, and everything in between. So, I recently asked my podcast listeners to submit questions and today I’m sitting down with my colleague to answer them. This episode was a little outside my comfort zone, but I’m thankful for the opportunity to grow on this journey, and I hope you enjoy it as well.
Episode 10: When We Are Not Fearless
15 Oct 2019
00:21:21
Show Notes I was convicted after a recent episode with my dad about how we approach those who maybe haven’t stood fearless under persecution. If we’re honest, we all fail daily. And there have probably been many times – both big and small – in our own lives where we have not been courageous when we are talking about or living out our faith. In today’s episode, we’re doing things a little differently. We will be doing more of a Bible study to see what the Scripture says about times when we haven’t been bold and stood fearless in our faith.

Episode 9: Freed From My Own Addiction — There's Hope
25 Sep 2019
00:23:42
Show Notes For those who are new to my story, I struggled for three years with addiction and it was many years later before I shared my story publicly. Statistics say one in seven people in the United States will face addiction. On today’s episode of Fearless, I talk about my own past struggles and share 5 tools for recovery during this #NationalRecoveryMonth.
5 Tools for Recovery 1. We have hope in the Gospel. 2. We have to anchor ourselves in God’s Word. 3. We have to avoid temptation. 4. Don’t do this alone. 5. Serve others.

Pride Month: How to Love Without Compromising?
04 Jun 2024
00:22:45
Chaos and confusion are all around us. June is a month filled with rainbows and Pride parades and messages that “love is love.” We live in a time when we see a growing hatred towards Christians and a biblical worldview. These attacks and confusion are especially strong during “Pride Month.”
The Bible tells us that “Pride goes before destruction…”(Proverbs 16:18). So how do we make sure that we are protecting our families and teaching our children truth when the world is telling them that we are to accept and embrace the LGBTQ agenda?
Today on the #FearlessPodcast, I want to remind you that God and His Word never change. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to stand firm and remember that showing love is never compromising God’s commandments.
Episode 8: Cissie Graham Lynch & Franklin Graham – Fearless Faith
10 Sep 2019
00:39:13
Show Notes While in Alaska this summer working for Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Heal Our Patriots, I had the opportunity to sit down and interview my dad, Franklin Graham. We talked about Alaska and how our family started going there more than two decades ago, sharing the Gospel even when it might be difficult, the ministries of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse, and always having a fearless faith. You’ll hear about times dad refused to compromise for the sake of fitting in with cultural norms and his reflections on his parents—my grandparents—Billy and Ruth Graham. One thing that really stood out to me is a challenge to not be critical of those who might not have the courage to stand strong when faced with opposition; because we will all face persecution at some time. Jesus said, “you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you” (John 15:19). My hope is that our conversation will encourage you to look at how you too can be bold for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how God can use anyone in all walks of life for His glory.

Episode 7: Cissie Graham Lynch & J. Warner Wallace – Investigating Truth
27 Aug 2019
00:35:12
Show Notes I’m part of a generation that wants answers. A few years ago I started questioning; not what I believed, but why. I was fortunate to grow up in a home with parents who reinforced a Christian worldview. I studied the Bible. But I wanted to be able to define not just what I believed, I also wanted to be able to give an explanation and give guidance to where others could find the same truth. Today on the #FearlessPodcast I’m talking to someone who is an expert on this. J Warner Wallace was a Los Angeles Homicide Detective and “unbelieving husband” who did his own investigation into this very topic. In our conversation, we talk about Truth and why it’s important for us to have practical tools to be able to give a reason for our faith.

Episode 6: Taking a Stand in the Classroom
13 Aug 2019
00:15:46
We live in a time when God has been removed from our schools. And college campuses are becoming more and more hostile toward Christians and conservatives. Universities used to be places we went to stretch our wings and be opened up to different points of view and to learn who we are. Those same schools now want to tell us who we should be, to the point that students feel endangered if they have an opposing point of view. In today’s world, students have to learn how to stand their ground and be prepared. No matter what level of school you’re in – or if you’re like me and that seems like a lifetime ago – fear has no age category. There are times where it can be intimidating and scary to take a stand for the Lord. But we are all called to stand boldly and unashamed of the Gospel.

Episode 5: Cissie & Corey Lynch―Faith On and Off the Football Field
30 Jul 2019
00:34:24
For the first time ever, my husband Corey Lynch and I sit down to talk about our life in the NFL. Corey shares stories from his time at Appalachian State University and in the NFL playing college and professional football. And we also discussed how we met, pressures of the world, how the NFL blessed us beyond imagination, and how to have uncompromising faith no matter what mission field you are placed on.
Episode 4: Lessons Learned from My Dad
12 Jul 2019
00:12:36
This week is my dad’s birthday. I’ve always been a proud daughter – and proud of the work my dad does as he leads the organizations of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. But one of the questions that I’m asked most often is what I’ve learned as the daughter of Franklin Graham. So today, I’m discussing the most important thing that I’ve learned from my dad.
Episode 3: Criticism in the Church
02 Jul 2019
00:12:36
A few years ago my dad challenged my brothers and I to not be critical of other people’s ministries. This is something that I’ve been convicted of recently, as I believe we see more and more Christians attacking each other publicly, in places like social media and even from the pulpit. We may have concerns with a leader or ministry— and the Bible tells us how that should be handled― but when we let our words attack and tear down others in the church Satan wins the battle. My dad has often said, “We have more in common than we don’t,” and I believe we as Christians need to start reflecting on what God has called each of us to do instead of allowing division to destroy the church. Today on Fearless, I’m discussing the importance of why Christians should stop attacking other Christians and what the Bible says about this important topic.
Episode 2: Homosexuality & the Church
18 Jun 2019
00:21:55
This is a difficult subject for episode #2. It’s hard to miss the fact that it’s Pride Month. We see it in advertising on TV and online, and hear it in messages on the radio and in conversations. Many retailers even display “pride” sections in their stores and change their logos to display a rainbow for the month. This is a personal subject for me and many others and too often we are afraid to offend. We all know someone living in a homosexual lifestyle. They are our family members, co-workers, neighbors and friends. These are people in our lives that we love and share so much with. Why have so many in the church failed to address this tough subject which affects so many of us from a biblical perspective? So why are we afraid to speak truth when it comes to sin? Today on Fearless I am talking about this sensitive subject – one that many people don’t know how to navigate.Find more resources on this and other topics at http://billygraham.org.

Mormonism vs Christianity: Do You Know the Difference?
21 May 2024
00:40:58
Do you know who are you following on social media? There's a growing trend of Mormon influencers on many platforms - especially Instagram. Their family values, conservative dress and love for family is inspiring. Many people might actually think the Church of Latter Day Saints is a different denomination of Christianity because they believe in Jesus. But sometimes we see people that seem to have similar values and beliefs only to find out their backgrounds are actually much different than what meets the eye.
Today, J. Warner Wallace joins me to discuss his experience with the Mormonism and, as he says, how he “became a Christian at the same time he became not-Mormon.” At a time when so many are looking for fulfillment in their lives, it’s easy to be deceived into believing what’s false. J. Warner Wallace encourages us to look at everything from an investigative viewpoint to discover what’s actually true, and to know the distinct differences between Christianity and Mormonism.
Pastor Greg Laurie: Antisemitism on College Campuses, Israel & End Times
08 May 2024
00:35:08
Antisemitism is on the rise. Seeing protests on university campuses across the U.S. and growing violence against Jewish people around the world is not only shocking, but it’s a reminder that God’s people will be persecuted because of our allegiance to Him (Matthew 10). It has been just over seven decades since the Holocaust, and the growing Jewish-hate is eerily similar to what happened leading up to the Hitler’s “Final Solution.” As Christians, this shouldn’t come as a surprise, yet many pastors are not standing with Israel and teaching their congregations about why Israel is so important.
Today, Pastor Greg Laurie joins the #FearlessPodcast to discuss the ongoing war in Israel, antisemitism on college campuses, and what the Bible says about end times. He’ll also share why it’s important for everyone to simply share Jesus.
The Lies of I’s—Seeking Godly Wisdom instead of Selfish Ambition (Ep. 122)
23 Apr 2024
00:19:23
We live in a society that tells us that selfishness and self-centeredness are okay so that we can be happy, successful, and feel important. But, the world is full of foolish, evil, and demonic wisdom.
We need to be cautious of what we are looking to and where we are looking for truth and guidance.
This all goes back to knowing what you believe and why you believe it. We will never be enough and find true fulfillment if we aren’t relying on godly wisdom and truth. If you are acting with humility and seeking Heavenly discernment, the lies of this world will have a harder time taking hold on your heart.
Listen to the latest episode of the #FearlessPodcast where I look at the “Lies of I’s”—Wise instead if I’s—and where we should look for fulfillment and wisdom in our lives.
The Lies of I’s—When “I Want” Becomes “I Need” (Ep. 121)
09 Apr 2024
00:20:17
How often do you find yourself saying, “I need;” confusing a want or desire with something that really is not essential? We live in a world that’s both consumed and fed by the social media algorithm showing all the beautiful things others have and places they go. It makes us think: I need new shoes. I need caffeine. I need to make more money. So, what happens when we don’t find contentment in what we have? What happens when our dissatisfaction grows?
Listen to the latest episode of the #FearlessPodcast where I look at the dangerous “Lies of I’s”—I Need—and a challenge of three practical ways we can practice contentment.
The Lies of I’s—Do I believe the lie that “I Am Enough?”
26 Mar 2024
00:11:23
“I Am Enough.” This “Lies of I’s” is one that we see everywhere—on t-shirts, coffee cups, and it’s even the title of a children’s book. It’s meant as an encouragement – especially in this world of comparison. But what really happens when we follow this advice and rely solely on ourselves? And, how can we teach our children to find strength through faith instead of how the world defines?
Listen to the latest episode of the #FearlessPodcast where I look at the dangerous “Lies of I’s”—I Am Enough—and where our strength should ultimately come from.
The Lies of I’s—Turn “I Deserve” into “How to Serve”
12 Mar 2024
00:17:07
How often do you hear yourself saying “I”? I want. I need. I wish. We have these “Lies of I’s” – lies we tell ourselves that culture tells us are a truth. My husband I were having a discussion the other day and I heard myself saying, “I deserve.” That’s a phrase I don’t even let my kids use, and here I was disagreeing with Corey saying, “I deserve better.” We seem to live in a world and society that is full of entitlement. We have the participation trophy generation that was always told they couldn’t lose and the social media natives that are constantly comparing people’s perfectly curated lives to their own. How do we teach our kids to overcome this attitude and that life isn’t always fair? Listen to the latest episode of the #FearlessPodcast where I look at the root of the problem and 4 ways we can have conversations with our children about serving and not deserving.
