It's time for Season 4 of Farmer Wants a Wife.

The reality dating show premieres Tuesday, April 21, at 8.pm. on Fox, and streams the next day on Hulu.

This season follows three new farmers — Sean Cavanaugh, Brett Maverick and Braden Pridemore — hoping to find love by inviting a group of women to their farms.

Sean, 22, is a produce farmer from California who "knows exactly what he's looking for in love and life."

Brett, a 35-year-old from Tennessee, is a horse and cattle farmer. He is a former bull rider and now a business owner with a protein bar company and a tequila brand.

Braden is 26 and lives in Illinois. He is a corn and soybean farmer who writes songs and plays guitar at local bars in his free time.

Sean Cavanaugh is 22 years old and a California produce farmer. He grows fruit and vegetables for his family's farm-to-table restaurant.

Farmer Wants a Wife brought a new twist this week. The show's sixth episode aired last night on Fox and is now streaming on Hulu. Episode 6 welcomed the farmers' moms into the mix, having them choose a new lady to set their sons up with on a date. Farmer Wants a Wife Season 3 has officially kicked off!

The reality dating show premiered its newest season last night on Fox, and is now available to stream on Hulu.

Season 3 farmers Colton Hendricks, John Sansone, Matt Warren and Jay Woods went on speed dates with eight hopeful women before each inviting five to come back to their farms. The farmers then picked one lucky lady to be the first to return to the farm for a solo date.

On this week's episode we're talking about our somewhat surprising first impressions of the farmers, which ladies we think might bring the drama back to the farms and who had the cringiest speed date.

Are you ready for another season of Farmer Wants a Wife? Because we are. Season three of the reality dating show premieres Thursday, March 20 at 9 p.m. on Fox, and will be available to stream the next day on Hulu. This season will follow a new group of four farmers — Colton Hendricks, John Sansone, Matt Warren and Jay Woods — on their journeys to find love by welcoming five women back home to their farms. Season 4 of Farmer Wants a Wife is finally here.

The reality dating show's fourth season premiered last night on Fox, and is now streaming on Hulu.

The episode featured this season's three farmers, Sean Cavanaugh, Brett Maverick and Braden Pridemore, as they each met nine women on speed dates, and then had to pick only five to join them back home on the farm.

Season 4 kicked off with an early twist, as one of Brett's speed-daters decided to shoot her shot with Braden, and even ended up being asked back to his farm.

The episode concluded with each farmer choosing one lucky lady for a 24-hour solo date.

The ladies of Farmer Wants a Wife have officially moved onto the farms.

The episode started with each of the three farmers taking their first lucky lady on a 24-hour solo date.

Then, the other four women came and joined their respective farms, and got put to work right away.

The farmers were given the choice to send someone packing on night one. Both Brett and Sean decided to keep all five ladies on the farm. Will Braden send Lauren home? We have to wait until next week to find out.

Mackenzie Montiel might not have made it very far on Farmer Wants a Wife Season 4, but her short character arc in the premiere episode made an impact.

Mackenzie was one of the nine — unexpectedly turned 10 — women who had speed dates with Farmer Braden during the Farmer Wants a Wife Season 4 premiere that aired on Fox on April 21.

During her 10-minute date with Braden, viewers watched her give him a bandana for his dog, Bogey, which Braden called a "green flag" to producers.

But what happened in the moments of the date we didn't get to see?

"I feel like we had a lot in common," Mackenzie said. "My go-to karaoke song, which is 'In Color' by Jamey Johnson, he sings at every show. I was like 'Wow, this is a sign.'"

But despite some seemingly fated moments, at the end of the night, Braden did not pick Mackenzie, instead taking Lauren back to the farm.

Lauren, who was initially there for Farmer Brett, decided to shoot her shot with Braden, and her boldness paid off — much to the surprise of viewers and other cast members alike.

"I was truly in shock in that moment," Mackenzie said. "That's when you realize, like, 'Wow, anything can happen.'"

But despite her self-confidence taking a hit from the rejection, Mackenzie said she's glad she took a leap of faith and went on Farmer Wants a Wife, mostly thanks to the fellow ladies she befriended on set.

"The women's empowerment in that room, despite the circumstances, was so unexpected to me," Mackenzie said. "But they really did change my life and my outlook on how I see myself and who I want to surround myself with."

Tara Vander Dussen, co-host of the Discover Ag podcast, joined us for a special episode of Farmer Wants a Wife Afterparty to discuss the show from the perspective of a dairy farmer and environmental scientist.

Vander Dussen and Natalie Kovarik host the Discover Ag podcast, where agriculture and pop culture meet. During Farmer Wants a Wife season, the co-hosts add a recap of each episode to their show.

At first, Vander Dussen didn't have very high expectations for Season 4.

"When the trailer came out, I'm not gonna lie, I was very skeptical that they were even farmers, and I had a lot to say," she said. "I do feel like this season I am kind of eating my words. I do think we truly have some very authentic farmers."

Vander Dussen grew up on a dairy farm and previously worked as an environmental consultant for dairy farmers. Her husband runs a dairy farm.

Vander Dussen enjoys watching Farmer Wants a Wife, though it doesn't always portray farm work accurately.

"You have to let go of the technicality and just enjoy the show," Vander Dussen said.
