In celebration of the 60th anniversary specials, Brandon gathers Sparkz and Xander for a revisiting of modern Doctor Who. For their third discussion, covering the entire series 8-10 run of Peter Capaldi as the 12th Doctor. They really go all in on a top-tier Doctor. They get into the big ideas for a lot of it, with some focus on smaller details and moments when they can. There's so much to go over here, they'll have to wait a bit longer to get into Jodie Whitaker's time, so this special stays (almost) all Capaldi to celebrate on of the best! Sparkz and Ryan are so excited to welcome Phai for this discussion of this television adaptation of one of their favorite games. There is so much to consider and they waste no time diving right in to what they loved about the translation between mediums, what was expanded on, and in at least one case what they fear could end up falling short. There's a lot to get through for this emotional series premiere, "When You're Lost in the Darkness." The performances are spectacular and the quality is certainly there.
