Now we've had a bit of time to climb down from our giddy final episode, we've come over a bit introspective. In the first of our wrap up episodes we wade back into the past few years 'work' and talk about all the things we got wrong. Expect bitter recriminations, sass and brutal honesty.

We all knew the day would arrive. This, ladies and gents and others, is our very final episode of the proper podcast recorded live at DOA Studios. Just a reminder not to unsubscribe just yet, as we've got some post mortem episodes coming in the new year.

Only 2 more episodes to go. Its getting down to the absolute dregs... or is it? Is there anything astonishing left in the grab bag of number ones? Or, come Christmas day, will Santa's sack (oo er) be found containing nothing but a lump of coal, a fluffy scotch egg, and a one-week Westlife? Only time (and the final episodes) will tell.

We are WAY into single digits now. There's so little time left. If you are starting here you are an absolute lawless individual - and we're here for it!

What would have happened if members of Take That were able to quantum leap? What would the world be like if Liam were allowed to name Cocteau Twins songs? And who was responsible for teaching Dickie V to spell? All this plus other stuff in one of our final ever episodes. Just a handful to go!

Huge apologies to all of those of Trumptonshireites who hold ol' Windy in high regard. But he is a hungry bottom and you all know it. I think this is supposed to be a music podcast but we're so far from the beaten track now that its taken on a mind of its own. Not many episodes to go!

I would use the word "slop" if it wasn't so tied to AI. Alas, everything in this show was crafted by human hands and displays all the infinite gradations of fallibility that we poor flesh and blood mortals display on the daily. SLOP I SAY! If only it were more simple, more pure, more and wasn't reliant on taking such chances...

SEX! Yes, lets see if we type that into the episode description if we get a bump in numbers. Also the episode title mentions holes and looks a bit german so... you know. 

A century and a half into the great project and you think we'd have the measure of one another by now. Yet we can still surprise one another. Craig comes out of left field with a wild opinion, Liam hates something but votes for us, and Matt (just like quasimodo) can't stand the bells.

In these troubled times let these descriptions be a lighthouse, a beacon, a big... thing I suppose, that can always be relied on to be entirely irrelevant and irreverent. WILLIES! There's also a podcast you can listen to as well as read this. Its episode 152 - come on, get on with it. Not many left now!

As this train trundles to the end of the line we appear to be picking up speed. Thats probably because loads of the bulkheads have fallen off, the windows are all smashed, and the electrics are totally shot. But part of that means we go on long circular rants like this, all for your amusement. OKLOVEYOUBYE!

A bumper episode this week, recorded in person no less! This is why you shouldn't get us all together very often; we just rant and rant! The most important thing this week? I could spoil it, but I shan't... but there's gonna be an announcement... soon my darlings...

This weeks the staff at ENOE Towers dredge through another 9 pieces of random nonsense from pop history, they deal with awful humans, and Liam mentions morse code fists (but never explains it). Plus we fall in love with Jim Dale and most particularly Jim Dale's best fans.

Less than 15 episodes to go, we'll be done by xmas. Will you miss us? Will you be as thankful as we are to get to the very end of the grand project?

Some of these songs are getting OLD now. Number 3 is like getting punched in the face with a vodka redbull. No. Thank. You.

Let's shed all pretence of this being anything other than glib marketing. For some reason, episode 145 spiked with listeners. In this description I mentioned kung fu, ancient wisdom, craft (maybe its a beer thing), being nobs, and the title mentioned love eggs. I wonder if we'll get another massive spike (ooo er missus) if I put the same words in again. Have we discovered some magic formula? That being said, with only 100 or so tracks to go do we actually want any new listeners?!

Dropping into your Monday morning like the inevitable pret croissant and commuter traffic, the boys hope to  ring mirth, merriment and memories of Moss side to your day.

Honestly, the boys deserved their luck this week. They really can't be trusted. Or maybe like the ancient wisdom of drunken kung fu, they're actually masters of their craft and merely trying to wrong foot you. Or maybe they're just nobs.

We need to offer a public apology for Liam's use of the phrase that became the title of this week's drop from ENOE Towers. He'd had a packet of smarties and a froob and was far too aroused by the whole thing. Also, fear not dear listener, Craig did indeed develop a lovely tan. Plus we review some music.

We've got less than 20 episodes to go. As the grand project draws to a close, we encounter a baldie, a scallywag, a plastic lady, another lady, and, as we cover from last week's spicy debate, let us all collect our heads, we ask just who IS the most famous cherry? 

I think if the ENOE brigade were ever going to court controversy, this is the episode to do it. No we're not making up spurious lies about pop stars, suggesting possible sex scandals, or the length of x's widge. Not today! Instead, we're asking the real questions, the important questions: sauces, condiments, gravies, and jous. Where do YOU stand?

We'd normally edit this down but there's too much to not.

Another week, another nine tracks. We're getting down to the wire now aren't we! Scary stuff! What will we all do when this is done? Go about our lives?! How is one to cope?!

Its not Moby Dick, but its certainly a whale of a tune that we encounter this week. Its BIG. But is that a good thing? Plus we show just how little the lads know about the lady-based reproductive system. 

Today is one of those episodes that might give you whiplash. I should say that this episode was recorded before the 16th of July and thus we don't make reference to certain events around our second artist. Plus we step on an aural boobie trap!

Yes yes yes! We're back with more silly titles and sillier "banter" (horrible word). In fact, "bants" is a word for the lowest echelon of humanity. If you participate in "bants" then you are officially dead to us. Sorry, where was I...

Oh yeah. Its ENOE!

This week, in between the music chat, we talk about the lost computer wars (Amstrad), a bit of East is East, the strange history of Gregorian chanting in pop music, and lovely ol' Bernard Cribbins gets a look in. Plus the usual nonsense. 

Hark... do you hear it... on the wind... the faint chiming of bells and a whiff of trademan's tea. It also get a bit creepy, a bit stupid, and we move from one shore to another. Trust me, it'll make sense once you've listened to it.

Here at ENOE Towers the airconditioning has totally packed in, Sigourney Weaver is running through the vents with a flame throwers (there aren't aliens, she's just bored), and the fancy zip tap has broken. We're sweltering! But we soldier on through the heatwave to bring you some spicy content, some serious chat, and a new sting that'll be making a regular appearance in the coming weeks.

There is a lot of walk of boys bits here, for which we would apologise... except we shan't. And some poop too. Its all a bit lavatorial this week. Sorry not sorry. Hashtag shan't.

Well dear listener, allow me to give you an inside look at what goes on with the nuclear powered production line here at ENOE Towers. One of our number does the editing, and another one of us deals with the online aspects (scheduling etc.). When I do this part, I check the notes that ML has left for me. Today's notes for this episode simply state "LM doesn't like a butt plug". I do not understand this. I shall have to relisten to find out. And so will you...

I think its fair to say that this is one of the least focused, rambling... shall we say "exploratory" episodes we've ever produced. The tangents are plentiful and distended. Somewhere amongst it all we do get the job done, but its a journey. Maybe pack a snack for the road?

Roll up! Roll up! That’s right folks. Step right up and witness the most incredibly, jawslackingly, uppity, pretentious title we’ve ever managed as a show. Trust Craig and Liam to argue to this degree of absurdity. We also talk about music too. So we’ve got that going for us.

In which our intrepid heroes encounter very grim 1970s metaphors for women, Liam turns on himself, we hear about being sick in a bed, and someone might come in like a demolition device. or not. We simply don't know.

This show is sometimes like being in a gaslighting relationship. Half the time when you expect great stuff, we're left with mediocrity, and other times just when you think all hope is lost... THIS happens.

Boom! Wham! Thwipnk! This is an episode that blew us out of the water. Repetition? You betcha! Shock twist and turns? Oh most definitely sir. Plus we talk "The Troubles", the absolute boredom of a certain glam star's release history, and the tyranny of Mr Whippy!

We're off to a sexy start this week, before we're hit in midships by a biggy! Oh my gosh. Did... did that actually happen?! It was hiding in plain sight all along and no one knew.

So. Before you listen I do need to warn you about the use of the word "sexy" here. The word occurs frequently and firmly throughout this week's episode. ENOE Towers take no responsibility for the bile and splenetic that such a word inspires in our listeners. Plus Craig enjoys a music video too much.

We're keeping it topical this week. We discuss the latest astronaut (as The Simpsons taught us "the driver is essentially ballast"); a long-passed choreographer with overly coiffed hair; re-encounter 'the chin'; mention Ocean's 11l; and we hear possibly the worst piece of music the pod has EVER had.

After a minor hiatus, the security staff have turned off all the alarms, and we're allowed to leave the muster area (just opposite, by the bins at the local Costa) and return to the hallowed halls of ENOE Towers. This episode is filled with predictions, booms, drugs, capitalism, and discord (in all its forms).

Let normal service be resumed.

We've managed to do this every single week for two and a half years without let up. Unfortunately real life has finally found us and we've need to take a short sabbatical. We'll resume our regular scheduled programming very soon.

In which our intrepid heroes encounter some novelty nonsense, a gay anthem (yes it is!), and get some massive heavy hitters in our picks of the week. There are still terrors lurking in the dark depths of pop music history. What else will get an airing this week?

In which Craig wants to get ploughed, we discovery who has the most leathery appendage, and we embark on a short trip to Faliraki to find the source of the #ffj. Plus, the usual nonsense and some music gets discussed in there at some point too.

Its week like this week when one has to wonder if we're really doing god's work in helping us all towards the light, or if the devil really does make work for idle hands? Do you subscribe the irenaean or augustinian theodicies of podcasting? Have I properly lost the plot? Likely.

In which our heroes encounter a toilet on an album cover, have a little sing song, bemoan mental health, make jokes in binary, and ask the eternal question: will we get another cucumber castle?
