This January, I decided to leave social media. I felt like it was stealing from me more than it was benefiting. I felt like my life would feel lighter and easier if I didn't have social media. So, I did something many won't do.
I took a 2 week break from Instagram. It felt amazing. I didn't want to go back....So here I am sharing all the reasons I decided to leave social media and why you should think about taking a social media break as well!

Changes are coming in 2023. I've had this podcast for 2 years and I've decided to make some changes moving forward to show up in a more authentic and true to my calling.
I want to be real, honest and serve YOU mama in the best way I can. In order to for me to do that, I need to be true to my values and teach from a place of authenticity.

I feel you. I just recently had one of those days. Everything was off. Sick kids, attitude and rudeness from older kids, I was worn out. I just needed to shift something.
Today I share with you what I do when I have a rough day w/ kids to support myself. How I get the negative energy out and shift into the positive.
I honestly don't like feeling stuck in a 'mood'. I do what I can do get out of it.
It's not a matter of if you will have a challenging day...but a matter of when. As moms, well as humans, we all have tough days and I think its important to know what helps you to lower your stress and feel better after a long day.
If you ignore things, it will bleed into all other areas of your life.

I love to set goals. It's like I sit down and create a vision of this ideal version of myself :) I love to constantly grow and improve.
I know that most people don't practice new year goal setting because they don't want to deal with the discomfort of not achieving them and failing.
That is something I used to feel, yet I discovered that setting goals helps me stay motivated to work towards that 'ideal version' of myself. Or towards my 'best self' for me and my family.
Bible says: where there is no vision, people perish.
If you don't know where you are going, you'll get no-where every time.

New years eve is one of my favorite days of the year. I love to sit down by the Christmas tree and journal.
I always start with reflecting before I set goals. I believe its super important to look at the previous year, see what worked and what didn't. Lessons I've learned. Hard things I went though. Things I'm are grateful for. Chose things to let go of moving forward.
