Why Do I Feel Shitty?25 Nov 202000:49:20

Today’s episode is all about why we might feel off, or just not great despite putting ourselves in the position (ie: healthy habits, positive rituals or self-love checklists) to feel great! I deep dive into some interesting perspectives all inspired my IG post that recently lit a fire in me titled: The “Why we feel shitty all of the time” Starter Pack.

I discuss this post and the effect it had on me as well as how our fears play a role in our general wellness. This episode discusses healing strategies and how the pendulum swing of life affects us in various ways despite our best efforts.

Be prepared to be filled with some little (and big) nuggets and also to open your mind to new offers/suggestions on how YOU can tap into your lower vibrations to heal some deep seeded wounds on your own.

This episode is fun, light with some options to dive deeper into your personal well-being!

A Kinder Mind with Jewelia Orlick28 Oct 202000:57:22

Today I am interviewing the fabulous Jewelia Orlick who is a meditation teacher, mediation coach and thought leader. She teaches the benefits of being still while focusing on the power that your journey inward has to re-wire the grey matter in your brain so you can reap these benefits without conscious thought.

Jewelia believes that being quiet enough to listen to yourself has the tendancy to show you exactly what you need.  She also believes that mediation is not just to be able to sit still and feel serene when we’re alone – but for life. For the times where life asks that we remain calm amidst the chaos. For the times when things are going great AND the times when they aren’t.

Permission to Feel - Special Episode02 Sep 202000:43:06

Over the course of the last 6 months one of my biggest breakthrough life hacks that helped to lift me out of my personal story of woe, was to finally give myself permission to feel.

I allowed myself to grieve and feel the overwhelming sense of loss I experienced when the world changed on March 15, 2020.

In today's episode, I share some vulnerable examples of my grieving process and how I was able to let go of that pain and give myself the capacity to follow my passions and redesign my life. I also give you my top 5 self care practices that will help you change your vibration and give you more information about how we can continue our relationship together and keep growing and supporting each other.

Are You Ready to Expand? Special Episode.19 Aug 202000:43:31

The word “expansion” is trending in today’s world of health and wellness, but what does it actually mean and how does it actually look and feel like in your life?

Are you ready to expand? Are you looking to make a shift in your life that feels impossible? Are you looking for a certain sense of freedom but don’t know where to start? Are you ready to step into your own power and transform your life?

When we expand, we let go of the grip our belief systems have over us and make room for new agreements. We open the places inside of us that have kept us safe and small and give ourselves the opportunity step into our power (whether we make the step or not).

Today’s episode is all about my personal experience with expansion, as it related to self-growth (in all forms), and I deep dive into a personally story that I have yet to tell in full on this show.

There is so much opportunity for growth all around us.. Are you ready to make space, to take your power back and use it for YOUR OWN DAMN SELF?

Please enjoy the show, go subscribe, leave a 5 star rating and a written review for others to enjoy!

#184: How We Have Been Lied To & The New Wellness Paradigm With Svetlana Rilkoff17 Apr 202401:06:08

This episode has themes of: Health Care, Canadian Medical system, Covid-19 conspiracy, Canadian Medical College, Nursing, Indoctrination, New Wellness Paradigm, Positive change, mental health, How to build immunity, Lifestyle, Profits over patients.

Today on the show I have a very special guest. Svetlana Rilkoff, a former BC Registered Nurse of 25 years.

With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UBC her experience in ICU/ER, Community/Primary Care and University Clinical Education has given her a thoughtful understanding of the public Canadian Medical System.

After being terminated in 2021 for refusing the C19 vaccine she established Ezra Healing to help build the new wellness paradigm.

Ezra Healing provides private healthcare solutions to North Americans that “do no harm”.

Through health promotion and disease prevention Ezra Healing is in service to those seeking alternative care or a second option from the traditional “medical system”.

She has a passion for helping people with vaccine injuries, cancer, mood imbalances, chronic diseases & pain.

She is a warrior. The level of discomfort I felt when she shared her experience was high. The heroic nurses of 2020 who became the cancelled, ridiculed, misinformation spreading evil villains of 2021, and for the record there were over 10,000 of them across Canada, all have a very different story from what we have seen on the media.

And although this may seem like yesterday’s news, I cannot stress this enough, this episode will very much impact you in positive ways because many of these educated, experienced and awake nurses are no longer staying quiet about the brainwashing our Canadian “sick care” system has systematically indoctrinated us into.

So today I welcome this brave voice to the show. She is one of thousands with a story like this, so thank you for holding space and please share this episode with your loved ones and let’s start building a new way of thinking when it comes to health and health outcomes.

Thin Privilege, Fatphobia, Marginalized Bodies and Swapping Weight Loss for Health with Raffela Mancuso08 Jul 202001:06:09

This episode is for anyone struggling with self worth, fat shaming, diet culture beliefs, or with the deep knowledge that there is more to life than the way we look.

It is so important to my personal health and wellbeing to keep the discussions going about our beliefs, where we learned them and to use this platform to amplify melanated voices.

My guest today is Raffela Mancuso. No, she hasn’t written a book, no she is not famous, no she doesn’t have a million followers on Instagram. However, she has a powerful message that she has been speaking about for years. She came onto my radar via social media after one of her posts went viral. The premise of the post was that “Thin people are taking up the space in the body positivity/self love corner” and it called in some of the biggest influencers on Instagram to join the conversation. And guess what!? They did! Her post got over 4000 comments and skyrocketed her into “influencer status” overnight.

Raffela identifies as being “small” fat, which we will get into later in the show, and shares her journey of living in a bigger body, the fat shaming, fatphobic tendencies of others, mental health issues, and how she is constantly labelled as unhealthy because of the size of her body.

Today, we dive into all the stereotypes, stigmas, beliefs on swaping weight loss for health, offensive language around bigger bodies, thin privilege and so much more.

Evolving, Expanding and Creating Space for Change24 Jun 202000:31:03

This week is the first time I have sat in front of the mic with no real direction for the show. Our world, my world, has shifted in so many ways over the past few months and I am still marinating in what I have observed about myself and the people around me.

I have had a rough week, and I feel it is only appropriate to address that many people in this world are in a much worse position than me. Today’s episode is primarily directed towards white people, although I'm hoping all humans on this earth can potentially benefit from hearing what I have to say. I am starting to humbly share with you my take on white privilege, and how it is important to keep the Black Lives Matter movement alive. I encourage everyone to observe their beliefs, observe their fear and resistance and begin to heal, expand and evolve in this revolution. This is only just the beginning.

Following Your Own Beat on Self-Care, Health and Wellness with Brendan Fallis27 May 202001:02:17

Today I am chatting with an old ski buddy of mine, Brendan Fallis. We met back in the mid 90’s, ripping moguls together at the National and International levels. We both skied for Canada together in the early 2000’s and we share in the passion for high performance sport. Following his ski career, Brendan used all of his skills as a high performance athlete and transferred them into real life city living. He moved to New York City, and began to revolutionize the DJ industry. Fast forward 10 years, add entrepreneur, thought leader, social media influenecer, YouTuber and a title I’d personally like to add--Health conscious/self love/self care GURU…Brendan Fallis has become one of the most sought after curators in the industry. Whether it is a DJ gig or partnership, Fallis is a go-to for brands around the globe because of his distinct aesthetic, digital presence and incredible taste.

Old Normal vs. New Normal. How Can We Do This Better?20 May 202000:44:01

Why go back? Could this pandemic be seen as a gift? How can we live our lives better on the other side?

Over the past 10 weeks, we have all gone through a colossal shift in our mindset. Back in March, life as we knew it changed overnight. At first, fear, panic and overwhelm took over my psyche. I experienced thoughts and emotions I have never felt before as this pandemic swept the globe.

But now, as I settle into a new pace of life, new rituals, and new routines, I have begun to rewire my brain and tap into my true self and true potential. I am still on the roller coaster of emotion, but this episode explains how we are all shifting as a collective and how you can continue to show up for yourself with love and compassion along the way. If you feel strange about “going back to the way it was” or you KNOW in your HEART that there is somethine bigger and better for you, you are not alone.

Listen and learn how to understand and accept your emotions and mental concepts around the beliefs that “normal” may be changed for the better!

Mindfulness Matters with Samara Zelniker06 May 202000:56:28

I believe that in order to change your story and change your life, you need a certain level of awareness to be able to observe yourself. In other words, you need to know how you think and how your thinking contributes to your behaviours, habits, fears and emotions… If you are unaware that you are the one controlling everything, it might not be the right timing for you to shift (but trust me, your time will come… this is not a bad thing).

The first step is awareness. Another word for that is Mindfullness… And today my guest, Samara Zelniker, is here to teach us and help us understand this a bit better…

Samara Zelniker is dedicated to helping leaders reach their infinite potential. With over a decade of experience teaching yoga, meditation and mindfulness, her focus lies in applying these age old concepts to modern day life.

Samara is an SIY certified teacher, the leadership and development program born at Google, a certified coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and has been featured as a leadership expert in Forbes and Business Insider. Samara is a native of Montreal, Canada and lives in Los Angeles.

Self Isolation and COVID Quarantine Day 3215 Apr 202000:53:32

Today I am solo on the mic. This episode is for all the magical self isolators out there doing your part to save the world. I talk about the roller coaster of emotion I am facing, how I am using this time to practice self-love and what the “work” looks like while healing the deeper, more stubborn layers that are all-of-a-sudden coming to the surface.

This episode is raw and full of real life examples to help you relate and learn more about yourself. Self isolating sucks, but the way you feel matters. The way you feel is telling you something very sacred. It is showing you the way. We all have a choice. We can take responsibility for the way we feel, or continue to suffer. I talk about these decisions and more and share the special and very intimate ways I am taking the reins in my life.

The Struggle is Real in Small Business with Tori Dunlap01 Apr 202000:41:00

Let's face it... the world has changed over night and many small businesses are barely hanging on after the first effects of COVID-19 have ripped across the world. My guest for this episode is Tori Dunlap, otherwise known as @herfirst100K. Tori is a Millenial Money and career expert from Seattle, Washington. Her mission is to help you obtain the funds to build the life you want and slay the patriarchy at the same time.

On any regular day, Tori gives money managing tips, advice on how to make money online, and she will help to completely revamp your finances in her signature course Personal Finance 101. She personally saved over 100K by the age of 25, quit her corperate job and is here to help you make money.

Her work has been featured on Good Morning America, New York Magazine, Forbes, and CNBC to name a few. Today we sit down to talk about SMALL business, and the impact to business owners from the current state of affairs.

This podcast is for business owners, people who have lost their jobs, or any person who wishes to support local, and support people who are struggling during this devastating global shut down.

Please note: This podcast was recorded last week. With that in mind, please be aware that the state of our economics are changing rapidly each day, and therefore some things we discussed in real time are no longer valid.

With that being said, there are still a TON of great recommendations and conversation points that will get you thinking outside the box, and help build confidence in yourself and your buisness.

Please note that all content in this podcast is opinion based. Should you want advice about your own financial portfolio, contact your personal financial advisor.

COVID19: The End Game with Dr. Raywat Deonandan25 Mar 202000:54:28

TODAY, I am speaking with Dr. Ray Deonandan. Dr. Deonandan was put on my personal radar after I read a pubished article of his titled: COVID19: The End Game. Dr. Deonandan is an Epidemologist and professor at Ottawa University and this particular article has over 80,000 reads. It’s popularity, in my opinion, is because of his comprehensive prediction of what is actually going on in the world, what we need to expect here, and how this Virus is predicted to play out. In other words—the End Game. After reading the article, I finally had a sense of what we are in for in terms of time frames for lock downs, what to expect in 2-4 months from now and how long we need to hunker down and be unified in social distancing. Is this the new normal?

Let’s find out over the next 50 minutes as I introduce to you, one of my most credible and relatable sources regarding the Coronavirus…

Healing Through Food: My 90 Day Detox11 Mar 202000:58:29

I began my detox 71 days ago. Since then, I have experienced a dramatic shift within my physical body.

I feel fantastic. I am happy. I am energized. I am confident. I am falling back into alignment with myself. I am falling back in love with me. You know—that flirty, fun loving, deep, authentic, crazy stupid love—for myself. What. A. Concept.

However, my physical body has not been the only aspect of my being that is detoxing. Throughout this journey, I have also been detoxing myself from the toxic, painful, stressful, shameful story of my programming.

This podcast is all about my health journey, my relationship to food, the way I’ve chosen to show up for myself, how I am healing as well as the spiritual awakenings that have presented themselves to me along the way.

This episode is for everyone. It is jammed packed full of inspiration on so many levels. You can take from it what you want, but more importantly I’d love for you to join the conversation. Tell me what you think! Drop a comment, a DM on IG or send me an email. Let’s talk about it.

Breaking Normal with Daniel Eisenman12 Feb 202000:46:09

This episode is for the person who feels like there is something more to life out there. If you yearn to discover more about yourself, listen and be inspired by my guest, Daniel Eisenman as he shares his breaking normal moment and everything else that followed!

More about Daniel… He graduated Pre-Med from Emory University with a BS (Key Acronym) in Biology & even took the MCAT about 10 years ago. Before applying to medical school to stay on the path of "NORMAL" as people advised him, he decided to "take a year off." That year off has now turned into a decade of BREAKING NORMAL adventures throughout all 50 states and at least 20 countries.

He travels the world as a keynote speaker and facilitator of Breaking Normal Experiences / radical retreats and workshops (though he likes to call them playshops, as what's more pure than play?) based on the principles of raw honesty and emotional freedom. He found that the common theme through his journey and experiences was that so many people seemed to be trapped in self-imposed prisons, keeping a lid on their genius, joy, and growth. Thus Breaking Normal became a way for people to free themselves from this self-imposed prison.

I Got Dumped : The Break-Up Aftermath15 Jan 202000:52:17

Today it’s just me back on the mic solo and I am speaking about being dumped. Yes, I was dumped. Yes it sucked. Relationships are hard. We often make them about the other person and avoid looking within ourselves for the answers. So today, I want to talk about how I actually dumped myself and how I snapped out of my destructive behaviour and started to take responsibility for my life.

A lot has gone on in my world over the last two weeks in the aftermath of this break up. There are many truth bombs exploding inside of me.  Yes I am still a confirmed bachelorette and yes I am still grieving. However like all things in life, there is a silver lining to the struggles and I have found mine. I am giving myself an upgrade! Listen to find out how.

A Willingness to Change26 Sep 201900:47:54

It takes a certain willingness to change. We are who we are because of patterns and learned behaviours (positive and negative) so what are you willing to trade off to get the results you want?

Today’s podcast is an extension of my latest IG post about our individual willingness to change. I use my weight loss as my primary example. As I lived my life, I learned how to be fat. I learned how to find comfort with food from the shame, failures and feelings of abandonment I carried.  It was such an unconscious and natural progression to fill the void with food that I didn’t even realize that I had developed this habit, nor did I realize that it was the beginning of a very unhealthy relationship between my self (my confidence, self respect, self love) and FOOD.  No CLUE!!!  So changing my behaviour during the urges to comfort myself, was a battle.  I felt HUGE resistant to change because I identified with my past traumas. The shame and failure gave me my sense of self, so letting that go left me in the dark. This was a terrifying concept.

This podcast is a deep dive into the how and why I find change so stressful, and often times seemingly impossible for the long term.

Drug Addiction and Self Loathing – One Year Later with Ryan Snow11 Sep 201901:04:01

This week a dear friend of mine, Ryan Snow, is back for the second time to give us an update on his self care practice.  Ryan is a former National Freestyle Ski Team athlete that I met over 20 years ago.  His life experiences led him down the path of drug addiction and self loathing. His story was unravelled in our first podcast together titled “Overcoming Drug Addiction, Facing Your Truth, and Choosing Happiness with Ryan Snow”.  Today Ryan is back with a strong and powerful message about what the PRACTICE of self love and self compassion looks like and how we can overcome any and all adversity in life. It takes time, awareness, love and compassion.

This podcast is for everyone.  We can all relate to his story and message that change is not impossible.  We are responsible for ourselves, we are not alone, and we can choose happiness.

I Can Change the Way I Feel?03 Jul 201900:42:56

How do you WANT to feel?  How often do you ask yourself this question and is the answer clear and self serving?

As the summer kicks into full swing, we are often times kicked out of our usual habits and routines, so this week is a little reminder to pay attention to the way we are feeling.  It’s also a good time to see if our feelings and emotions are serving us.  Are we putting ourselves in position to feel the way we want to feel.

In this podcast, I share how paying attention to our feelings can help to steer away from pain and suffering, and can help us to identify when we are having conditioned emotional responses.  When we bring awareness to the way we want to feel and our current emotional conditioning, we can then begin to heal and begin to change.

How Ayruveda Changed My Life with Kristie Gambrel12 Jun 201901:01:23

Ayruveda is the practice of an ancient medicine based on the idea of balance in bodily systems using diet, herbal treatment, and yogic breathing, among other things. When I first heard of it, I was sceptical. When my health took a bad turn last summer and I met Kristie Gambrel, and I decided to open my mind to non-traditional medicine. My decision was life changing.

This week, I’m speaking with Kristi, my Ayruveda coach (and friend), and we take a deep dive into what this science is all about, what the constitutions look like within our bodies and how the practice has changed my life forever.

What Are You Manifesting Right Now?29 May 201900:39:12

Manifesting… what does that word even mean? What does it look like in your own life? I can tell you this, that word made me roll my eyes all the way into the back of my head when I first heard it. I was a skeptic, and I did not believe it was possible to have any control over what we attract into our lives.

That was until the day I woke up and started to pay attention to what I was attracting and how I was doing it. This podcast is all about the laws of attraction as I have experienced them, and what manifesting my life means to me. It’s full of fun relatable stories and how practicing positive thoughts for as little as five minutes a day can begin to transform your life.
