In view of the climatic challenges that Tunisia faces today, it has become imperative to develop environmental policies commensurate with their importance for the lives of individuals and societies, because the adoption of the ecological orientation in public policies has become a necessity that concerns all countries  in the world. Contemporary societies have been concerned for more than a century with the preservation of nature with its animal, plant and geological components, so pioneering programs have been developed to create parks and reserves to preserve these ecosystems,

However, despite this approach, it is only recently that the human element has been included in the policies of nature protection. Because man, with his history and his direct relationship with nature, is considered a fundamental element that summarizes a hundred years of intuitive knowledge that guarantees adaptation and resilience towards his environment.
