Sometimes it’s not your physical or mental ability that stands in your way on a hunt…. In typical Jake Downs fashion my latest trip to Alaska to hunt Dall sheep was a bit of a shit show.

Barren ground caribou take their name seriously.. I’ve never seen so much country without an animal in it 😂 when you go on a hunt timing is everything ESPECIALLY a migrating animal! I recap my latest adventure up to Nunavut and crying in my Cheerios a bit about missing the migration.

Every hunter likes to think he/she ( let’s be honest this is a male trait) is working/hunting harder than every other guy out there.. LETS JUST STOP.. just go enjoy the outdoors without beating your chest and thinking everyone else has it easier… #publicland🌈 oh ya.. I also recap my most recent antelope hunt in SD, but I was sitting over a water hole.. So.. does it even count…?
