Holly is a multi species force-free crossover trainer, certified trick dog instructor/triple crown coach and a force-free content creator. After discovering trick titles, Holly quickly worked her way up to grand champion with both her dogs but she didn’t stop there. She went on to earn an expert trick title with her cat, and became the first person in the world to earn a trick title with a hedgehog!

Gradually making the crossover from balanced to force free training after rescuing a pitbull named Daisy, it’s become Holly’s mission to show others the amazing things that can be accomplished through R+/FF training.

Navigating Social Media with Shalina Seifert

Saison 2 · Épisode 18

mardi 28 juin 2022Durée 33:20

Shalina works as a dog trainer in Toronto, Canada. After completing the intensive

internship program at When Hounds Fly, she then earned her CPDT-KA certification.

Although her love of dogs began in childhood, her passion for science and psychology was born in university. After graduating with her degree in Psychology, she began to dive into animal psychology and learning theory. Keeping up with the latest "dog science" is what drives her to improve to become as effective and humane as possible.

After spending some time on dog training social media, it became apparent to her how critical it was to begin tackling some of the misinformation on Instagram and TikTok. She loves creating educational content on social media to help pet parents navigate the dog training world. Online advocacy work will continue to be a huge priority for her.
