I see the divine light within you.
I’m MiMi, and I’ll be right here with you for this first breath journey. From the very beginning, I want you to feel safe, supported, and free to be exactly as you are.
There is nothing to perform here.
the woman you are now, and the woman you are becoming.
Today’s episode is called “Meeting Your Breath.”
We’re not going to force anything.
We’re simply going to notice — and then gently invite the body to relax with a few sighs of relief.
Find a comfortable position.
You can sit on a chair with your feet on the floor, or lie down somewhere cozy.
Take a moment to adjust…
Let your body wiggle, stretch, shake the shoulders a little…
And then let yourself arrive.
If it feels okay, gently close your eyes.
If you prefer to keep them open, just soften your gaze.
Now, don’t change anything yet.
Just notice: how is your breath right now?
Is it short or long?
Deep or shallow?
In the chest, or more in the belly?
There is no good or bad answer.
You’re just meeting your breath exactly as it is.
Feel the air as it comes in through your nose…
and as it leaves again.
Feel the weight of your body being held by the chair, the bed, the earth.
You don’t have to hold yourself up in this moment.
Let the ground hold you.
Now, bring your attention to the tip of your nose.
See if you can feel the coolness of the inhale…
and the warmth of the exhale.
You don’t need to slow it down.
You don’t need to deepen it.
Just watch.
Like watching waves arriving and leaving the shore.
Inhale… arriving.
Exhale… leaving.
Nothing to fix.
Now, slowly let your attention travel down to your chest.
Notice how your chest moves a little with each breath.
Maybe it lifts slightly when you inhale…
and softens when you exhale.
You don’t have to exaggerate it.
Just feel what is already happening.
And now, let your awareness move down to your belly.
You might place one hand on your belly, if that feels comfortable.
As you breathe, notice:
Does your hand rise a little as you inhale…
and fall as you exhale?
Again, no judgment.
If the belly doesn’t move much, that’s okay.
We’re just getting curious.
So now your whole awareness is like a soft light inside your body.
Sometimes at the nose…
sometimes at the chest…
sometimes at the belly.
You are not forcing the breath.
You are simply keeping it company.
Inhale… “I am here.”
Exhale… “I am safe enough in this moment.”
Now I'm inviting you for a little bit more release into the body
with a few sighs of relief.
First, just notice if there is any place that feels tight or heavy right now.
Maybe the jaw…
the shoulders…
the chest…
the heart.
You don’t have to change it.
Just say silently, “I see you.”
Now, take a slightly bigger inhale through your nose…
filling the lungs a bit more than usual…
And then open your mouth and let the air fall out with a sound…
Haaaaaah…
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your face soften.
Now let your breathing return to a natural rhythm.
Not trying to control it.
Just feeling the after-effect of those sighs.
Maybe there is a bit more space in the chest…
or the jaw…
or maybe nothing has changed, and that’s perfectly okay.
The point is not to reach some magical state.
The point is simply: you showed up for yourself.
As we come to the end of this short journey,
take a moment to sense your whole body.
Notice the points of contact with the ground or the chair.
Notice the weight of your bones.
Notice the gentle movement of your breath.
You are here.
You are breathing.
And that is already enough.
May you feel grounded, seen, and spiritually sovereign.
