Introducing Big Dog and the Home for Lost Hounds18 Jun 202400:09:39

Things have been a bit quiet here at Dishin' It over the past couple of months while I've been getting another passion project off the ground...

I'm delighted to share that I have released my first children's rhyming picture book, 'Big Dog and the Home for Lost Hounds', which shares the story of a stray dog who's in search for a new home and place to fit in.

Not fitting in can be scary and my first tale is set to show children that being different is your best asset. I was quizzed by Alan Parker on his ShmuFM show, Parker's Packed Lunch, to share the story behind the book and it's here for you to listen in.

-

About the book

The dogs at the Home for Lost Hounds are puzzled when a peculiar dog moves into the rescue shelter.

Big Dog is large, lanky and he definitely doesn't fit in with the other dogs. Is there a place for a dog that doesn't fit in?

You'll have to read his clumsy tale to find out.
