First and foremost I want to apologise for not having an episode out last week as per the schedule. I was absolutely WIPED out by a cold which absolutely ruined me.

However, we are back and back with another ACTUAL gardener! Gardening content creator Sarah Rose Grows has built a following online on how to garden in rented spaces and has built a community of people who also do not have their own spaces to garden.

Away from gardening, Sarah made a big decision. She realised her career wasn't what she wanted to do so made a massive change and started life again.

But has it paid off?

So... going for a slightly different episode this week.

For one, it's VISUALISED!!! Thought I'd try a whole filmed episode for my first ever minisode. Can't guarantee it's a format I'll stick too but would love to know your thoughts.

On this week's minisode I'm joined by the INCREDIBLE pro gardener Lucy Chamberlain at Gardeners World Live! The two of us have been working together on their Make a Metre Matter campaign and she is a fountain of gardening knowledge so I thought hey... why not have her on to talk ACTUAL gardening.

Lucy breaks down how she got into this as a real life career, her earliest gardening memory and puts you on a little bit of game if you're looking to grow something different.

Also I must address the elephant in the room... it is loud as HELL where I've recorded this as they was a busy stage right next to us at the event.

What does it mean to have a faith in today's day and age?

This week's guest is a man called Sam Steele who is journalist by day and an independent musician by night! But as well as the above, he is also a Quaker.

On the SECOND EPISODE of Digging Around he swaps his lyric book for a mental gardening how-to guide and helps me deal with a slight sticky weed problem I have on the plot (did you know the actual plant is called a cleaver but some people call it sticky willy?).
