About Imran Nasser

About Sérgio Rocha Bernardes

Prof. Dr Sérgio Rocha Bernardes earned a BDS from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. He gained specialist status in dental prosthesis and implantology at the APCD/Bauru in São Paulo and the Federal Dental Council, respectively.

 

He also holds an MSc in Oral Rehabilitation from the Federal University of Uberlandia, and a  PhD in Oral Rehabilitation from São Paulo University/FORP, Brazil, with collaborative research at the Eastman Dental Institute, London. 

 

Sérgio has published books on implants, immediate loading, guided surgery and prosthesis. 

 

He is a professor a the Latin American Institute of Dental Research and Education in Brazil and the head of new product development and clinical practice at Neodent.

About Sumair Khan

Dr Sumair Khan is an implantologist, educator and owner of three dental practices. 

He holds an MSc in Implant Dentistry, a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry, and Postgraduate Certificates in Medical/Dental Education and Leadership Coaching and Mentoring. 

Sumair's teaching career includes roles as an Oral Surgery lecturer, Educational Supervisor, and Training Program Director. He has also served as Associate Dean for NHS Health Education England. 

He holds additional roles with Health Education England as a GDP appraiser and PLVE assessor, and serves as a clinical adviser and expert witness for the General Dental Council. 

Sumair has published in the British Dental Journal and BDA Indemnity Journal, and is co-authoring a textbook chapter on traumatised dentition restoration.

About Riz Syed

Dr riz Syed graduated in 1999 and spent time working in the oral maxillo-facial surgery department of Royal London Hospital.

 

He gained a master’s degree in restorative dentistry from the University of California and has also completed training in advanced oral plastic surgery in Dallas, Texas.

 

He is a prolific surgeon, lecturer, and mentor who often teaches on behalf of Nobel Biocare. 

 

Riz is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
