There is so much to say about liberty, especially days before a monumental election. There is a wolf and there is a dog each with conflicting ideals.  Nobody gets hurt in this one but there sure is some shaming. here are a lot of versions of this fable. The one that the library of Congress chose to share makes you think. Well, it made me think, and then I made it this week's fable.

Aesop leads one to believe that if you fight an impossible fight together you are better than a person looking to survive. This lesson would be better taught if someone actually got hurt.

The good news and the bad new. Good news is that there is not any murder in this fable. The bad news is a that all of the animals are idiots. I find that Aesop often get the message across to a specific audience and I am not sure to whom this lesson is to be taught.
