Since then we’ve stayed in contact and finally got a chance to sit down together in Milwaulkee at the Harley Davidson Homecoming. Jochen has been fond of America and its culture since he saw his first John Wayne movie as a kid back home. He studied here, worked here, and now calls America home. Are you familiar with the book “THE BIKERIDERS” by Danny Lyon? Well recently it was adapted to a screen play by director Jeff Nichols not to be confused with today’s guest Jeff Milburn. The photos in the book were taken in the late 60’s so obviously the bikes in the book were from the late 60’s. You might ask yourself, “what’s the process like getting a bunch panheads and knuckleheads on the big screen?” I guarantee it wasn’t easy, but lets hear it from the man that was there every step of the way, from curating the bikes to teaching actors how to operate a foot clutch, hand shift, points timed, linkert aspirated breathing fire machine, the man the myth the legend Jeff Milburn. | |||

I recently was able to complete the first ever Motorcycle TransAm on a 1921 Harley Davidson J model and it was one for the books. Can’t thank Competition Distributing enough for the opportunity.
