Would You Have a Baby With Your Best Friend? Platonic Co-Parenting Debate | Ep. 125
Would you have a baby with your best friend if romantic love and marriage were never part of the plan? 👀 Is having two parents in a traditional household what makes a family healthy, or is love, stability, and intentional parenting what truly matters?
On this episode of Cup Of Conversation, Tee and Coco are getting into a thought-provoking conversation about platonic co-parenting, having children outside of marriage, traditional family values, and what it really means to build a healthy family in today's world.
Inspired by the online conversation surrounding Kevin Sampson's perspective on starting a family with a friend without a romantic relationship, we're unpacking the questions that have people debating modern relationships, marriage, and parenthood.
Can two friends intentionally bring a child into the world and successfully raise that child together without being romantically involved? Does a child need to see their parents in a loving romantic relationship to develop healthy ideas about love? And if marriage doesn't automatically guarantee a healthy home, should we focus more on the structure of a family or the stability within it?
We're discussing platonic parenting, co-parenting without a relationship, marriage and family dynamics, child development, emotional trauma, IVF, adoption, and the expectations society places on parents. From the role of romantic love in raising children to whether we're protecting the image of the traditional family instead of prioritizing healthy households, Tee and Coco explore different perspectives and challenge the assumptions many of us grew up believing.
This isn't just a conversation about having a baby with your best friend. It's about the choices we make before bringing children into the world, the examples we set for the next generation, and whether our definition of a successful family needs to evolve.
☕ THE CONVERSATION IS YOURS, SIPPERS!
Would you intentionally have a child with someone you weren't romantically in love with? Can platonic co-parenting provide the same stability as a traditional two-parent household? Do you believe children benefit most from married parents, or from parents who provide love, consistency, and emotional security regardless of their relationship status?

Are We Faking Our Lives for the Aesthetic? Influencer Culture Exposed | Ep. 124
Is social media making us feel like our real lives aren’t good enough? 👀☕ From luxury lifestyles and picture-perfect aesthetics to influencer culture and the pressure to keep up with every new trend, are we living for ourselves—or performing for the internet?
On this episode of Cup Of Conversation, we’re getting into the reality of social media influence, unrealistic beauty and lifestyle standards, and the growing pressure to make everyday life look picture-perfect. In a world where everybody wants the aesthetic, the designer labels, the luxury vacations, and the “soft life,” it’s worth asking: how much of what we see online is real, and how much is just for show?
With influencers shaping beauty standards, fashion trends, spending habits, and even the way we define success, social media can make an ordinary life feel inadequate. Are we genuinely inspired by the content we consume, or are we comparing our behind-the-scenes reality to somebody else’s carefully curated highlight reel?
We’re talking influencer culture, fake lifestyles, social media comparison, keeping up with trends, online validation, materialism, and the pressure to fit into an aesthetic that may not even reflect who we really are. Because when everybody is trying to look the part, are we losing sight of what actually makes us happy?
In this conversation, we're getting into: ☕ The pressure to maintain an unrealistic lifestyle and online image ☕ Influencer culture and the impact of social media on self-esteem ☕ Why everybody seems to want the same aesthetic, look, and lifestyle ☕ Fake it till you make it: inspiration versus pretending ☕ Social media comparison, materialism, and the need for validation ☕ The difference between living well and looking like you're living well ☕ Learning to define success on your own terms instead of following trends
Is the influencer lifestyle inspiring us to do better, or convincing us that what we already have isn't enough? And are we really being ourselves if our choices are based on what's popular?
Pull up, grab your cup, and join the conversation! We’re challenging perspectives, questioning what society normalizes, and having the conversations worth having.
💬 JOIN THE CONVERSATION: Do you think social media has made people more authentic or more performative? Are people genuinely living these lifestyles, or are we watching an online illusion? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
If you enjoy real conversations about Black culture, social media, relationships, personal growth, and the things we don't always say out loud, you're in the right place.

For Better or Worse: Are You Willing to Serve Your Spouse? | Ep. 123
MARRIAGE ISN'T 50/50: SEX, SACRIFICE & SERVING YOUR SPOUSE 💍☕️
Everybody wants a healthy relationship, but is everybody willing to do what it takes to maintain one? 👀
This week on Cup of Conversation Podcast, Coco & Tee are getting into one of the most debated topics in modern relationships: serving your spouse without losing yourself.
We're talking marriage, dutiful sex, submission, gender roles, intimacy, relationship expectations, and the sacrifices that come with building a life together.
Does marriage really work 50/50? Is sex an obligation in marriage? Can you serve your partner while still maintaining healthy boundaries? And at what point does sacrificing for your relationship turn into sacrificing yourself?
We're also unpacking the difference between supporting a spouse who's going through a difficult season and carrying a partner who simply refuses to show up.
Because a healthy marriage isn't always about splitting everything equally. Sometimes it's about doing what needs to be done, showing up for each other, and understanding that love requires more than just feelings.
THE REAL QUESTION: If your partner loved and served you the exact same way you love and serve them, would you feel supported, appreciated, and fulfilled? 👀
🎙️ Episode 123 is out now! Tune in to Cup of Conversation with Coco & Tee for another unfiltered discussion on Black love, marriage, relationships, and personal accountability.
💬 LET'S TALK: Is serving your spouse an act of love, or do you think it creates unrealistic expectations in marriage?

Confidence vs Self-Esteem: How to Build Self-Worth & Stop People-Pleasing | Ep. 122
What’s up, Sippers! ☕️ Welcome back to another Cup Of Conversation where we have conversations worth having.
In Episode 122, Coco and Tee are getting real about confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, insecurity, boundaries, people-pleasing, and becoming the woman you’re meant to be. Because looking confident and actually feeling confident are two completely different things.
Is confidence something you’re born with, or is it something you learn? And what’s the difference between confidence and self-esteem? This conversation goes deeper than compliments, beauty, social media validation, or simply “knowing you’re that girl.” Coco and Tee unpack how childhood experiences, relationships, family dynamics, dating, rejection, validation, and the examples we see growing up can shape the way we see ourselves.
The girls also get into the realities of Black women and self-esteem, including the pressure to be strong, nurturing, helpful, and everything to everybody else while sometimes forgetting to pour back into ourselves. They talk about raising confident girls, positive self-talk, affirming children, vulnerability, boundaries, and the importance of teaching young women that their worth is not dependent on how other people treat them.
And then the conversation gets personal.
From walking away from relationships that damaged their confidence to learning how to stop living according to other people’s expectations, Coco and Tee discuss people-pleasing, changing boundaries, fear of embarrassment, career decisions, moving away from home, entrepreneurship, and the freedom that comes from choosing yourself.
Because sometimes the biggest question isn’t “Am I confident?”
It’s “How much of my insecurity actually belongs to me—and how much was handed to me by somebody else?”
This episode is for anyone working on self-confidence, self-love, self-esteem, personal growth, setting boundaries, healing from insecurity, or learning how to choose themselves without guilt.
☕️ Pour up and join the conversation.

💬 QUESTION FOR THE COMMENTS: What do you think shaped your confidence the most—your childhood, relationships, experiences, or learning to trust yourself?

When the RIGHT Choice Still Feels WRONG: Navigating Change & Growth | Ep. 121
What if the thing you prayed for, worked for, or knew you needed could STILL feel uncomfortable?
In this episode of **Cup Of Conversation**, Tee and Coco get real about what it actually feels like to navigate major life changes, personal growth, uncertainty, and the uncomfortable seasons that come with becoming a better version of yourself.
From career changes and moving away from family to motherhood, relationships, faith, emotional regulation, and learning how to deal with life when things don't go according to plan, this conversation asks a question many of us have had to face:
**Can something be right for you and still feel uncomfortable?**
Tee and Coco talk about the fear of the unknown, getting comfortable with being uncomfortable, the difference between productivity and purpose, and why sometimes we spend so much time complaining about a problem that we miss the solution sitting right in front of us.
They also get honest about **irritability, emotional maturity, parenting, childhood experiences, accountability, empathy, and the impact our behavior can have on the people around us.** What happens when you stop blaming everyone else and start looking in the mirror?
And because this is Cup Of Conversation, the conversation goes deeper into **faith, trusting God through change, daily purpose, learning from your past, and responding differently when life gets hard.**
This episode is for anyone currently going through a **life transition, career change, personal transformation, relationship change, move, season of uncertainty, or uncomfortable growth.** Sometimes growth doesn't feel good while you're in it—but that doesn't necessarily mean you're on the wrong path.

Are Your Dating Standards Unrealistic? Self-Reflection & Modern Relationships | Ep. 120
What if the problem isn’t the people you keep dating… but what you keep bringing into the relationship?
In Episode 120 of Cup Of Conversation, Coco and Tee get real about dating standards, unrealistic expectations, self-reflection, accountability, attraction, and modern relationships. This isn’t just another conversation about men vs. women—it’s about looking in the mirror and asking whether the standards we demand from other people are standards we’re actually living by ourselves.
The conversation kicks off with the viral idea that “where you spend your time is where you’ll find your person.” But does your lifestyle actually align with the type of partner you say you want? Coco and Tee debate dating outside your social class, physical attraction, beauty standards, “hood” vs. “successful” relationships, and why people can be attracted to partners whose lifestyle doesn’t necessarily match their own.
Then things get deeper.
Why do we keep choosing the same type of person and wondering why the relationship keeps ending the same way? Is self-work really self-work if we never stop to examine what we’re attracting, tolerating, and contributing to the situation? The girls get into attachment styles, therapy, childhood experiences, relationship patterns, and the uncomfortable reality that sometimes the person we need to hold accountable… is ourselves.
And if you’re asking for a certain kind of partner, are you prepared to be the kind of person that partner would actually choose?
From wanting a successful partner while not putting in the work yourself, to expecting intimacy and affection without always giving it, Coco and Tee unpack the difference between having standards and having unrealistic expectations. They also talk healthy co-parenting, letting go after relationships end, women holding women accountable, and why social media has made dating even more performative.
This is the kind of conversation for anybody who has ever said:
“Why do I keep attracting the same type of person?”
“Why can’t I find the kind of man/woman I want?”
“My standards aren’t high—I just know what I deserve.”
Or maybe the harder question:
“Am I actually offering what I’m asking for?”
Because sometimes the self-reflection we avoid is the exact conversation we need to have.
☕ Pour up, pull up, and join the conversation.

OFF THE RECORD: Black Men, Marriage & Vulnerability
In this exclusive, previously unreleased ending to Episode 87, Is Love Enough? | The Real Conversation About Marriage Beyond the Aesthetic, the conversation continues with an honest discussion about Black love, marriage, vulnerability, masculinity, communication, and emotional intimacy.
While Tee was away, Coco stepped into the host seat alongside her husband as co-host. Joining them were their friends Tiara and her husband from the Easy On Me Podcast for a real conversation about what it actually takes to build and maintain a healthy marriage beyond appearances, aesthetics, and social media.
In this unseen portion of the conversation, we explore:
☕ Are Black men becoming more emotionally vulnerable, or are they simply afraid of being alone?
☕ Why are so many men taught to handle their problems alone?
☕ Does vulnerability make a man weak—or does it actually require strength?
☕ Should men protect their partners from their struggles, or allow them to help carry the weight?
☕ What happens when emotions are bottled up for too long?
☕ Can vulnerability bring couples closer emotionally and spiritually?
☕ Is marriage supposed to be hard?
☕ Are we consuming more toxic relationship content than examples of healthy love?
This conversation dives into the realities of **men's mental health, emotional vulnerability, healthy masculinity, Black marriage, relationship communication, faith, and the generational beliefs that have shaped how men show up in relationships.**
The group discusses the pressure many men feel to be providers, protectors, and problem-solvers while navigating the idea that they should never allow their partners to see them struggle. But what happens when protecting your partner turns into shutting them out?
Can a relationship truly grow without emotional honesty?
And more importantly… **is love alone enough to sustain a marriage?**
If you're in a relationship, married, dating, or simply interested in conversations surrounding **Black relationships, healthy masculinity, vulnerability, emotional intimacy, and marriage**, this is a conversation worth joining.

Women Don’t Need Men Anymore… So What Happens to Love? | Ep. 119
Women don’t need men to survive anymore… **so what happens to love, marriage, dating, and relationships?** 👀
In Episode 119 of **Cup of Conversation**, Tee and Coco are having a real conversation about the changing dynamic between men and women, the rise of financially independent women, modern dating standards, marriage, and what some are calling the **“male loneliness epidemic.”**
For generations, relationships and marriage were often connected to survival, financial security, and traditional gender roles. But what happens when women can buy their own homes, build their own businesses, make their own money, and create a life without depending on a man?
Does that mean women **don’t need men anymore?**
And if women no longer *need* men financially, what makes a man valuable in a relationship?
In this episode, we get into:
☕ **The male loneliness epidemic** — Are men actually lonelier today, or are we finally having conversations about something that has always existed?
☕ **Women who don't need men financially** — What happens to relationships when women can provide for themselves?
☕ **Modern dating and women dating multiple men** — Why are women becoming more open about having options?
☕ **Dating standards vs. preferences** — Are women becoming harder to please, or are they finally holding men to higher standards?
☕ **Marriage and survival** — Was marriage historically about love, or was it about survival, security, and building a family?
☕ **The baby mama conversation** — Are women becoming more intentional about who they have children with?
☕ **Men, women, and accountability** — Are both sides being forced to become better partners?
☕ **Can a woman respect a man she doesn't need?**
☕ **Do men and women actually need each other?** — Even when neither person needs the other financially, what does companionship, love, partnership, and intimacy bring to our lives?
☕ **What does a good man actually bring to a woman's life?**
The conversation gets real about **modern relationships, gender roles, marriage, independence, dating, masculinity, femininity, financial independence, love, companionship, and the future of dating.**
Because maybe the question isn't whether **women need men** or **men need women**.
Maybe the real question is:
**What do we bring to each other's lives when survival is no longer the reason we're together?**
Drop your thoughts in the comments:
**Can a woman respect a man she doesn't need?**
And do you believe we're experiencing a **male loneliness epidemic**, or are men simply being forced to adjust to a world where women have more choices than ever before?

The Life You Imagined vs. The Life You Actually Have | Marriage, Career, Kids & Growing Up | Ep. 118
What happens when the life you imagined for yourself doesn't look anything like the life you're actually living?
In **Episode 118 of Cup Of Conversation Podcast**, Coco and Tee sit down for a raw and honest solo conversation about **the reality of adulthood, marriage, career expectations, motherhood, mental health, unmet expectations, and grieving the life we thought we were supposed to have.**
We grow up with a picture of what life is supposed to look like: graduate college, build a career, fall in love, get married, have children, buy a house, create a family, and live happily ever after. But what happens when real life doesn't follow that timeline?
Coco and Tee get real about the parts of adulthood nobody really prepares you for — including how much **marriage actually requires, career regrets, going back to school later in life, fertility and motherhood pressure, societal expectations, and the mental toll of constantly comparing your current life to the life you thought you'd have.**
They also unpack a question that many adults quietly struggle with:
**Can you grieve a life you never actually lived?**
From wishing you had made different decisions in college and your career to questioning whether marriage and motherhood are supposed to happen on society's timeline, this conversation explores what it means to **accept your current reality without giving up on the life you're still capable of creating.**
And the conversation gets even deeper when they talk about **the village.**
Where did the village go?
As adults, why is it so much harder to build genuine community and meaningful friendships? What happened to the neighborhood, church, beauty salon, barbershop, family gatherings, and other “third spaces” that once gave people a place to connect? Coco and Tee discuss how social media, fear, modern life, and constantly being connected through our phones may actually be making genuine community harder to build.
They also explore the pressure placed on Black women to always be **strong, independent, and capable**, and ask an important question:
**When does strength become emotional suppression?**
This episode is for anyone who has ever looked around at their life and thought:
“Is this really where I thought I'd be?”

Waiting on God or Making Excuses? | Faith Without Works, Purpose, & a Tee Party | Ep. 117
This isn't just another episode of Cup of Conversation—it's a special Tea Party celebration as we celebrate Tee turning 31 while diving into one of the biggest questions many Christians struggle with:
Are you truly waiting on God... or are you avoiding the work He already told you to do?
Too often we say "I'm praying about it" when God has already given us the next step. In this honest conversation, Coco and Tee unpack the difference between faith and procrastination, purpose and fear, and trusting God's timing while still putting in the work.
If you've ever questioned your purpose, struggled with burnout, battled overthinking, wondered if you're moving too fast or too slow, or asked God for direction in your relationships, career, business, or spiritual walk, this episode is for you.
☕ In this episode we discuss: • What "waiting on God" really means • Faith without works in everyday life • How to know if you're walking in purpose or operating out of fear • Christian women, relationships, and personal growth • Why therapy, counseling, and community are biblical tools—not signs of weak faith • The dangers of over-spiritualizing everything • Burnout, discipline, and trusting God's plan • Planning your future while surrendering to God's will • Building the life you desire before waiting for someone else to complete it
Whether you're navigating your faith journey, preparing for marriage, building a business, healing from past experiences, or simply trying to hear God's voice more clearly, we hope this conversation reminds you that faith and action go hand in hand.
💛 Help us wish Tee a HAPPY 31ST BIRTHDAY in the comments! 🎂🥂

Can You Follow God Without Changing Overnight? | Ep. 116
What happens when the life you've built no longer reflects who you're becoming?
In this powerful episode of Cup Of Conversation, we sit down with content creator and podcast host Zion for one of his most transparent conversations yet.
Many of you know Zion from his viral After Zarty Podcast, where controversial conversations, entertainment, and internet moments helped build a massive audience. But today, he shares what happened behind the scenes that led him to walk away from that life and pursue a relationship with God.
This isn't just another testimony—it's an honest conversation about growth, conviction, healing, identity, and learning to follow Christ while still being a work in progress.
Together we discuss:
☕ Why Zion walked away from the controversial content that made him popular ☕ His journey from viral podcast host to living a Christ-centered life ☕ The pressure of changing in front of thousands of followers ☕ Losing followers while gaining peace ☕ Church hurt, spiritual growth, and being a "baby Christian" ☕ The fear of being judged while growing publicly ☕ Denouncing his former lifestyle and speaking openly about his sexuality ☕ Childhood experiences that shaped his identity ☕ Mental health, depression, people-pleasing, and healing from trauma ☕ Why authenticity matters more than performing religion ☕ Learning that following Jesus is a daily decision—not overnight perfection
One of the most powerful moments of this conversation is Zion's willingness to openly discuss how childhood experiences, public perception, and years of living for an audience influenced his identity—and how his relationship with God has challenged him to examine every part of his life with honesty.
Whether you're exploring Christianity, rebuilding your faith, struggling with your identity, or simply trying to become a better version of yourself, this conversation is full of grace, transparency, and real-life experiences that remind us we're all on a journey.
At Cup Of Conversation, we believe the best conversations are the ones that challenge us to grow.

Truth Hurts EXPOSES Why Men Cheat, Emotional Unavailability & Modern Dating | Ep. 115 (Part 1)
Is emotional unavailability created... or taught? Why do some men struggle to communicate? Can a relationship coach give advice while still being a work in progress? Do we owe strangers an explanation for our personal lives? And why does the internet expect perfection from people who teach?
In Part 1 of this powerful conversation, viral life & relationship coach Truth Hurts joins Cup of Conversation Podcast for one of our most honest discussions yet. From his time in prison to becoming one of the internet's most talked-about relationship voices, Truth opens up about the experiences that shaped his perspective on love, accountability, masculinity, vulnerability, marriage, cheating, healing, and personal growth.
This isn't your typical relationship podcast. We challenge popular dating advice, question modern relationship expectations, and dive into the uncomfortable conversations that most people avoid.
If you've ever wondered:
Why are so many men emotionally unavailable?
Can people truly change after cheating?
Should relationship coaches have perfect personal lives?
Why do people judge someone's past instead of their growth?
How much of your personal life do you actually owe the internet?
Can transparency become a liability in the age of social media?
...then this episode is for you.
Throughout this episode, Truth Hurts discusses: ✔️ His journey from prison to becoming a respected relationship coach ✔️ Why discomfort creates growth ✔️ The difference between the messenger and the man ✔️ Why authenticity matters more than perfection ✔️ Emotional availability in men ✔️ Childhood trauma and how it affects adult relationships ✔️ Marriage, vulnerability, accountability and communication ✔️ Why people weaponize vulnerability ✔️ The internet's obsession with exposing people's past ✔️ Why successful relationships look different for every couple ✔️ Whether people should explain themselves to social media ✔️ Learning through failure instead of pretending to be perfect
One of the biggest takeaways from this episode: "People have to earn your trauma."
Whether you agree with Truth Hurts or not, this conversation will challenge the way you think about relationships, masculinity, marriage, emotional intelligence, accountability, healing, and personal growth.
💥 And trust us... Part 2 gets even crazier. We end this episode right before diving into one of Truth Hurts' most viral takes about intimacy, marriage, and cheating. You won't want to miss what's next.
👇 Join the conversation in the comments: • Can people give good relationship advice while still working on themselves? • Are men taught to suppress their emotions? • Do public figures owe their audience explanations? • What's one point you agreed—or disagreed—with the most?

We also discuss Black love, therapy in the Black community, emotional healing, soft life conversations, modern dating culture, and what true leadership and consideration look like in relationships.
💬 Some of us are not unlucky in love — we’re loyal to unhealthy patterns. 💬 “Sometimes accountability is not begging a man to act right. It’s giving truth, watching patterns, and adjusting.” 💬 “You can’t keep dating the same person in a different form.”
If you’ve ever ignored red flags, stayed too long, believed in potential, or struggled with boundaries and self-worth in relationships, this episode is for you.

After recent conversations online involving Megan Thee Stallion, Klay Thompson, relationship discourse, and viral debates about “picking better,” we wanted to unpack the REAL issue beneath the surface. Love vs Reality: What Relationships Really Need | Episode 104
Welcome back to another episode of Cup of Conversation — where we have conversations worth having ☕✨
This week, we’re getting a little more intimate… literally and figuratively. From upgrading our set to finally revealing the story behind our NEW sign (y’all… we really thought we got scammed 😭), this episode starts with real-life lessons about trust, risk, and doing things on your own with no backing but faith and hard work.
But then we get into the REAL conversation…
What if love was the only thing that mattered in dating?
We’re breaking down:
Would relationships last longer or fall apart faster?
Do we actually love people… or just what they provide?
Can love exist without structure, discipline, and accountability?
Are standards shaped by survival… or genuine connection?
Do gender roles still exist if everything is based on love?
And let’s be real… Is love REALLY enough?
We also get into some spicy “Last Sip” questions:
Love with struggle or comfort without love?
Fun but irresponsible vs. responsible but “boring”?
What does “fun” even mean in relationships?
This episode is honest, funny, and a little too real — the kind of conversation that might have you rethinking how you date, love, and choose your partner.

Ratchet vs Righteous: The Hallway Phase of Growth | Ep. 103
What happens when you outgrow your old life but haven’t fully stepped into the next version of yourself yet?
In this episode of Cup Of Conversation, T and Coco talk about what it feels like to live in the “hallway stage” of life — that in-between space where your old habits, friendships, and lifestyles don’t quite fit anymore, but the next chapter isn’t fully clear yet either.
From Texas rodeo culture and city-girl vs southern-belle identities to deeper conversations about faith, growth, detachment, relationships, and personal conviction, this episode dives into what it really looks like to learn yourself while evolving.
We talk about: ✨ Outgrowing the “ratchet” version of yourself ✨ The conviction that comes with personal and spiritual growth ✨ Why nostalgia can keep you stuck in the past ✨ Learning new hobbies and rediscovering who you are ✨ The fear of change, uncertainty, and being single long-term ✨ Letting go of friendships that no longer align ✨ Who we were performing for in our younger years vs. who we are today
If you’ve ever felt like you’re between doors in life, trying to figure out who you really are and what you truly want, this conversation is for you.
Sometimes growth isn’t a big leap — it’s a hallway.

We’ve officially passed episode 100 and we’re still evolving. In this episode of the Cup Of Conversation Podcast, we talk about growth, consistency, and why we’re always tweaking the vibe to see what really sticks. But the real conversation? It gets deeper.
Why do so many conversations with women center around men, marriage, and motherhood? Why is a woman’s value still tied to her relationship status? And at what point did being a wife become louder than being a whole individual?
We unpack:
Are men a necessity… or more of an accessory?
Why society still places status on marriage
The pressure women feel to prioritize relationships over purpose
Why accomplishments like healing, elevating standards, and building confidence don’t get celebrated the same way weddings do
How language (or the lack of it) affects the depth of our conversations
What it really means to “decenter” men without hating men
How we should be raising our daughters to prioritize purpose over validation
We also get personal — from miscarriage conversations people weren’t ready for, to setting boundaries in marriage, to what it looks like to remain an individual even while being a wife and mother.
This episode is about identity. Who are you outside of who you’re connected to? What do you lead with when you introduce yourself to the world? And are we teaching the next generation to seek fulfillment… or just a ring?
As always, we’re having conversations worth having.

Attraction vs Entitlement, Self-Control & The “Men Are Just Like That” Debate | Episode 101 (Part 2)
We’re back with Part 2 of Episode 101, and this one gets REAL.
In this continuation, we dig even deeper into the conversation around attraction, entitlement, and whether men and women can truly maintain platonic friendships without crossing boundaries. Is attraction natural? Of course. But does attraction automatically mean access? That’s the real question.
This episode unpacks:
Can men and women genuinely have platonic friendships?
Is it self-control… or “that’s just how men are”?
Does biology play a role in desire?
Where do morals, upbringing, and discipline come in?
What does respect look like when nobody’s watching?
Are women making too many excuses for men?
And… are men the prize too?
We also talk about: Boundaries in relationships Emotional intimacy vs physical intimacy How transparency protects everyone’s choices Why self-respect sets the tone for how others treat you And how both men AND women may be “losing the plot” when it comes to roles and expectations
This episode is layered — from marriage perspectives to single life dynamics, from biology vs behavior, to whether women should stop trying to “understand” men and start choosing themselves instead.
At the end of the day, it all circles back to one thing: Self-control. Self-awareness. Self-respect.
And yes — we close it out with a spicy “This or That” you don’t want to miss.
If you’ve ever questioned: “Is it really biology?” “Are we excusing bad behavior?” “Can platonic friendships survive attraction?”
This conversation is for you.

Boundaries, Lust & Platonic Friendships – Can Men and Women Really Just | Ep. 101
Welcome back to Cup Of Conversation Podcast — where we have conversations worth having.
In Episode 101, Chitchat Coco and Tee dive straight into the tension between respect, attraction, and self-control in modern relationships.
We’re asking the real questions:
• Is it a red flag if your man follows OnlyFans-type pages but claims to respect women? • Are boundaries insecure… or necessary? • Can men and women truly have platonic friendships? • Is attraction biological… or a discipline issue? • Are we protecting relationships — or avoiding impulses? • Do women play a role in how they’re perceived, or is society to blame for oversexualization?
Inspired by comments made by Cam Newton on platonic relationships, this episode unpacks self-control, standards, lust culture, respect, and accountability — on BOTH sides.
This is not surface-level talk. This is the uncomfortable middle.
If you’ve ever questioned: “Why does he need to follow that?” “Can men really separate attraction from friendship?” “Is this insecurity… or discernment?”
Press play.

100 Episodes Later… Let’s Talk About Support vs Accountability
We made it to 100 episodes.
From navigating real-life rough patches behind the scenes to building consistency on camera, this milestone means everything. Before we get into the debate, we take a moment to thank God, thank each other, and most importantly thank the supporters who keep coming back every week. The returning viewers. The consistent 40–50 that turned into growth. We see you.
Then we get into the real conversation.
Should we blindly support Black-owned businesses just because we’re Black?
Is it loyalty… or is it accountability?
In this episode, T Boss and Chitchat Coco break down the tension between entrepreneurs and consumers — especially within minority-owned businesses. We talk about:
• Feeling guilty as a customer for speaking up • When criticism becomes “blasting” • Professionalism vs affordability • Raising prices without raising quality • Listening vs defending • Support vs immunity • Why returning clients matter more than hype
We keep it honest. Both sides have work to do. Consumers need to communicate better. Business owners need to tighten systems, professionalism, and scalability. Support should never mean accepting poor service. Accountability should never mean public sabotage.
This is one of those conversations that might make you uncomfortable — but it’s necessary.
If you’re a business owner, this one is for you. If you’re a customer who’s been scared to speak up, this one is for you. If you believe we can build stronger businesses in our community, this one is definitely for you.

In this episode of Cup of Conversation, we’re getting REAL about confidence, modesty, and why the “rules” seem to work for some women—but not others. ☕️🔥
We break down the age-old question: Is “less is more” actually empowering… or just another way women are taught to stay small? From social media standards and male-centered conditioning to confidence, boundaries, and why some women command respect no matter what they wear — this conversation goes deep.
We talk about: ✨ Why modesty doesn’t guarantee respect ✨ Confidence vs. clothes — what actually matters ✨ Why certain women don’t have to follow the rules ✨ Standards vs. settling (and why “too understanding” can hurt you) ✨ Are women really dressing for men… or themselves? ✨ Why having high standards isn’t delusion — it’s alignment
This episode challenges the narratives we’ve been fed about femininity, desirability, and relationships — and asks the real question: What kind of woman do you need to be to get the life you actually want?
Grab your cup and tap in — this is one of those conversations. 💬☕️

In this episode of Cup of Conversation, we’re getting real about why so many of us are exhausted, overwhelmed, and running on empty — and how a lot of it comes from unnecessary, self-imposed obligations.
From “that’s what you’re supposed to do for family” to “that’s what your husband deserves,” we unpack the silent pressures that keep us overextending ourselves at the cost of our own mental, emotional, and physical health.
We talk about: ☕ The difference between showing up and self-sabotaging ☕ How guilt keeps us stuck in unhealthy cycles ☕ What healthy boundaries actually look like in real life ☕ When to compromise — and when to stand firm ☕ Choosing yourself without burning bridges
If you’ve been feeling stretched too thin, emotionally drained, or like everyone gets the best of you except you… this episode is for you.
🎧 Tap in, grab your cup, and let’s talk about choosing boundaries over burnout.

Welcome to our first episode of 2026 — Episode 95 of the Cup of Conversation Podcast! ☕️
In this episode, we start the year with honesty, growth, and a little controversy. During our Cup of Controversy segment, we unpack the conversation sparked by Charlamagne’s comments about Wendy on Pour Minds, diving into the idea of karma, public opinions, and what it means to speak openly while still evolving. When you’re constantly on the mic and growing in real time, what happens when your views change?
Our main conversation centers on Soft Life vs Survival Mode — a topic that hits especially hard in today’s hustle culture. We discuss how men’s upbringing and their relationship with their mothers can shape the type of partner they desire, whether that’s a soft-life woman or someone who mirrors survival mode. We also challenge the belief that struggle equals strength and ask the real question:
👉 When did being tired become a badge of honor?
Coco shares her perspective that all women deserve a soft life, and we explore whether a soft life is a privilege—or something we owe to ourselves regardless of circumstance.
In this episode, we discuss:
Conforming to trends vs staying authentic to your voice
Karma, accountability, and growth in public spaces
Speaking your truth while evolving
Soft life vs survival mode mentality
How upbringing shapes relationship expectations
Why exhaustion shouldn’t equal success
This episode sets the tone for 2026: intentional, reflective, and unafraid to ask uncomfortable questions.

A new year doesn’t mean much if your mindset stays the same. In this episode, we get real about fear, risk, and the choices we make when comfort feels safer than growth. From unlearning the word “can’t” to questioning why stability is often valued over happiness, we unpack how fear keeps so many people stuck—especially when kids, money, and societal expectations are involved.
We talk about what it really means to take risks, why failing early can be an advantage, and how being uncomfortable might be the very thing that unlocks what’s on the other side. The conversation also dives into health, career choices, generational pressure, and why making yourself the brand matters more than ever in today’s world.
This episode is for anyone feeling torn between security and fulfillment, anyone starting over, and anyone who knows they want more but isn’t sure how brave they’re allowed to be. New year, new mindset—but only if you’re willing to choose it. ☕✨

Starting over sounds exciting… until it’s time to actually start.
In this episode of Cup of Conversation, we unpack what it really means to begin when fear, doubt, and uncertainty are in the room. Whether you’re thinking about quitting a job, starting a new career, reviving a plan you buried years ago, or simply trying again after falling off, this conversation is for you.
We talk about why starting feels scary even when change is what we want, how to tell the difference between temporary discomfort and a deeper call to purpose, and why playing it “safe” can quietly cost you growth, peace, and opportunity. We challenge the idea that motivation will magically show up and instead explore how habits, discipline, and clarity move you forward even when confidence hasn’t caught up yet.
This episode also breaks down real-life self-sabotage patterns like procrastination, perfectionism, and comparison, and helps you identify your personal “start blocker,” whether that’s fear, money, time, confidence, or lack of clarity. Most importantly, we talk about removing shame from restarting and normalizing the fact that progress isn’t always linear.
As we prepare to step into 2026, this conversation invites you to get honest with yourself, write the life you want even if it feels unattainable, and take one intentional step forward—scared and all.
If you’ve been waiting for the perfect moment, this is your reminder: you don’t need permission to begin.

EP 91: The Art of Compromise vs. The Trap of Settling
In this week’s episode of *Cup of Conversation*, Coco & Tee are diving into what it really means to *settle* — in love, in life, and in your career. From funny stories about times we knew we were settling (but did it anyway 😅), to real talk about Ayesha Curry’s recent comments on her marriage, this episode blends laughs, honesty, and a few hard truths.
We’re asking: ☕ Is settling the same as compromising? 💔 When is it choosing stability over chaos? 💼 Is chasing passion a privilege, or should everyone demand more from their work?
Grab your cup and join the conversation — because sometimes, settling isn’t giving up… it’s growing up.
👇🏾 Let us know in the comments: Would YOU rather settle for stability or risk it all for what you really want?

Welcome back to the Cup of Conversation Podcast — where the tea is hot, the laughs are loud, and the truth is never on sale.
In this episode, we’re diving into holiday season in real life, not the Pinterest version. From grocery prices that feel like betrayal to gratitude that has to coexist with frustration, Coco & Tee are unpacking the emotional, financial, and cultural weight of Thanksgiving in 2025.
We’re talking the government shutdown that threw families off for weeks, delayed SNAP benefits, and what it really looks like when households have to stretch, squeeze, and remix traditions just to make the holiday happen. Because listen… hosting a big Thanksgiving when groceries cost like luxury items? Whew.
We’re asking the questions everybody’s whispering: ✨ Is the pressure to “host big” outdated or is that cultural pride still fighting for its life? ✨ Are we scaling down our menus or scaling up our sanity? ✨ Can you really be grateful and irritated at the same time, or is that just adulthood? ✨ Is survival mode a mindset or a season… and how do you practice gratitude in the middle of it? ✨ What’s one thing you’re thankful for this year that didn’t come with a price tag?
And of course we had to get into the holiday weekend debates: ✨ Are you team “rest & recharge” or team “I’ll sleep in January” for Thanksgiving weekend? ✨ Is Black Friday even Black Friday anymore, or just a four-day hostage situation for our wallets? ✨ How do you stay generous without going broke? ✨ And who decided Thanksgiving needed a sequel… because Cyber Monday is wild.
It’s honest, it’s relatable, and it’s giving “making it work with what you got” — because that’s where a lot of people really are. Grab your cup and pull up… it’s conversation time. ☕💬

This week on Cup of Conversation, Coco & Tee are back on the couch updating the Double Standard List — because let’s be real, some of these old-school rules need to retire. From dating and money to gender roles and reputation, we’re breaking down the messy, funny, and sometimes uncomfortable truths about how men and women are judged differently.
And of course, our producer Braxton jumps in to give the male perspective — so you already know things get interesting. 😏
We’re unpacking: 💸 What happens when the woman makes more in a relationship? 💬 Why women are “bossy” but men are “leaders.” 🔥 “Body count” honesty vs. privacy — does transparency help or hurt? 🤝 Are double standards natural differences or learned mindsets?
Plus, in The Last Sip, we’re putting these double standards to the test with a few wild “this or that” scenarios you won’t want to miss!

This week on Cup of Conversation, we’re getting real about friendship — the good, the fake, and the fragile. From vulnerability to “it girl” culture, we’re unpacking what it really means to be a girlfriend in 2025.
We start light with our “How You Feelin’, Friend?” check-in before diving into the deep stuff — how our moms shaped the way we view friendship, why women struggle with vulnerability, and if being in a different season of life means it’s time to let go.
Our guest Oksana joins Coco & Tee as we ask the real questions: ✨ Are we truly being vulnerable with our friends or just performing closeness? ✨ Can you outgrow a friend without the beef? ✨ Is “protect your peace” just a cute excuse to dodge accountability? ✨ And why does being the “strong friend” so often mean no one shows up for you?

Ep 84: When Friends Become Strangers: Outgrowing People You Love
In this solo episode, I’m spilling some thoughts on Ayesha Curry’s mindset — how do you say you don’t want marriage or kids while living that exact life? Let’s unpack the contradictions, the criticism, and the reality behind those comments.
But the real tea? Friendship breakups. Outgrowing friends is one of the hardest but most necessary parts of life. I get into how to recognize when it’s time to let go, why it feels like heartbreak, and how to walk away without losing yourself.
This one gets real, personal, and maybe a little uncomfortable — but that’s the point.

On this week’s episode of Cup of Conversation, we sat down with Sunni from Uncorked Conversation Pod and Shy from Yappy Hour Show for a real talk about *what it means to start over—on and off the mic.
We kicked things off with a check-in that got a little too real — turns out healing season can be messy, hilarious, and humbling all at once.
Then we poured up our Spill of the Week, where things got controversial fast. After Caresha’s letter defending Diddy* surfaced online, we couldn’t help but ask — when someone you love is accused of ugly things, are you defending their character or your connection? We unpacked the messy middle between loyalty and accountability, and what it really means when someone’s good side blinds you to their bad one.
When the convo hit the Main Topic, things got deep. We talked about walking away from what no longer serves you, rebuilding your voice, and the growing pains that come with betting on yourself. Shy shared what she learned from her old show and why sometimes closing one door really is the setup for something greater.
And of course, we wrapped it up with The Last Sip — where things got just a little shady. We broke down the blurred lines between influencers, viral stars, and real celebrities. Are DMs the new red carpet? And is ghosting collabs the new “I’m booked and busy”? 👀
Pull up a seat, sip with us, and let’s talk the truth behind *starting over, loyalty, and calling it what it is.*
