This weeks creative weidos continues our exploration of strange comics with one of my good friends Rob Kristoffersen . We cover the life and work of Otto Binder a comics and sci-fi legend who is best known for co-creating characters such as super girl and black atom as well as penning science fiction classics such as iRobot! Later in his life and career Binder took to documenting real life ufo encounters via his comics strip Our Space Age and we had a blast talking about it all! Sunday morning starts to stories. I've been working on creating more children's books and I've wanted to one about creativity and the our youthful connection to it. This is is the start of that tale in which I'm currently calling "Find A Pencil" and is all about a little goblin and the worlds they create after discovering a pencil on the ground.
