In this episode of "Creating Well-Rested Families," I want to take you a little behind the scenes of what goes on during our bedtime routine and share with you something that we have started incorporating with my 4 and 7-year-old. 

We know the importance of creating meaningful bedtime routines for babies, but you need one for toddlers and preschoolers as well. I share five insightful questions to ask your little one before they drift off to sleep. These questions not only foster emotional connection but also help your child reflect on their day, express their feelings, and set positive expectations for tomorrow. You can ask them at the start of the routine or in the middle. Just be sure to start with 1 question and have a short 5-10-minute conversation with your child to help build that connection.
