This week we are delighted to be joined by Conner Smith, one of Nashville’s biggest breakout stars and one of our favourite artists around. Conner joins us whilst he’s currently on the road to discuss his career to date. We talk about how he found music from an early age, how his first trip to the Grand Ole Opry as a kid changed his life. We talk about his debut at the Opry, the success of ‘I hate Alabama’, how he’s perfected the art of songwriting and what the future holds in store for Conner Smith. This week we are excited to be joined by one of country music fastest rising star ‘Tyler Braden’. An artist who is rapidly making a name for himself with his gift of writing deep lyrics and performing them with his powerhouse vocal ability. We chat to Tyler about growing up in Slapout, AL and finding a love for country and rock music at such an early age. He guides us through his journey before music when he was a first responder firefighter which then seen him relocate his life to Nashville. Tyler let us know about some of his tracks, what his debut at the famous ‘Grand Ole Opry’ was like and his love for golf. Tyler is on the brink of stardom and we’re excited for you guys to hear this great story of a fantastic artist. 

Welcome to this week's episode which we dedicate to the late Queen Elizabeth II. This week we are joined by UK Country Music Sensation Jade Helliwell. Jade sits down and talks to us about her journey into music. We chat about her upcoming UK tour in October, her latest single ‘Lead Me On’, her other single ‘Woman I Am’ which is also the name of her upcoming tour. 

We are delighted to have to independent artists to share with you this week. Kicking off our show first is,  ‘Jennifer Alvarado’ who is a singer/songwriter hailing from Vale, North Carolina. We play her single ‘Curious’ which has been up for numerous awards and you can tell why. 

Our second artist that we feature this week and plays out our show is ‘Joe Peters’.  Joe hails from Bakersfield, California and has quite the resume as a cowboy, as he’s competed in rodeos and worked on ranches. Not only that he’s been on the road with some of Country Music’s biggest stars. We play his track ‘The Whiskey Will’ which definitely makes you feel like your in a western!

I think you’ll agree after hearing this interview that Abbey has a very big and bright future ahead of her! 

This week we are joined by country music star Chris Bandi. We sit down and talk with Chris about his life growing up in St. Louis, MO, to his college days to finally making the leap of faith and moving to Nashville. Chris also shares his story of how his track ‘Man Enough Now’ changed his life and got him a well deserved record deal. We chat about his latest release ‘Carolina Blue’ and what the rest of 2022 has in store for Chris. 

Finally the boys are back after a couple of months off. Alex and Blaine sit down and catch up with everything that has been going on. They chat about what’s been happening, Blaine’s time away at CMA Fest and advice for anyone going, reviewing the Brad Paisley and Morgan Evans gig last week and of course the weekly country news.

In this weeks episode we’ve got a two amazing guest joining us. Firstly , Claudia Hoyser joins us for a chat all the way in the USA. Claudia is a rising country music star and making her mark on the scene. We chat to her about her album which was released in 2021 and her track ‘Wicked’ which has just had a music video for it releases. This video has gained so much attention that the likes of CMT have featured! Claudia also tells us about her other ventures outside of music. These include her coffee brand called ‘Hoyser Country Blend Coffee’ and her whiskey brand ‘Drunken Bean Coffee Whiskey’. 

Later in the episode we are joined by our very good friend Charlotte Young. We catch up with her ahead of the release of her latest single ‘Four Hours, Four Years’. We chat to Charlotte about the track and the meaning behind it and we are also lucky to give you guys a listen of it right at the end of the show.

Finally, we chat to her about her latest single ‘Critic’ and the success of her single ‘Narcissist’.

In this weeks episode, we are joined by ‘Tigirlily’.  One of country music rising stars, the duo is made up by Kendra and Krista, who are not only band mates but sisters. We chat to them about growing up in North Dakota, moving to Nashville, being opening acts for superstars, their first EP, performing at CMA fest, completing over 180 shows in one year and a North Dakota vs Geordie challenge. Tigirlily is definitely an artist to watch as they are destined for the top and we’re excited to see what the future has in store for them.

This week we are joined by one of Country music latest and most exciting stars. We chat with ‘Halle Kearns’, the singer songwriter who burst on the scene in 2020 with signature sound. We chat with Halle about her early life growing up in Columbia, Missouri, doing shows at the age of 6 for her family, to her journey into the music industry. We find out what it was like to release her critically acclaimed debut EP ‘Finally’ during a pandemic. To having accolades like being feature on CMT and SiriusXM The Highway. To her latest single ‘Are You Okay?’ and the positive meaning behind it. We even get Halle to speak in our native accent ‘Geordie’. This week we are honoured to be joined by country music star ‘Jay Allen’. We have dedicated the whole episode to Jay with a featured interview as we believe it is one of our most compelling interviews to date. Jay shares his story from where he started off in Iowa, to how he ended up in Nashville, how tragedy hit him and his family and what life looks like for him in 2022. This is all complied into an emotion and raw chat where it felt like we knew Jay for years. Needless to say I think you guys will feel the same.  

In this weeks episode, we are joined by the rising star that is 'Chase Wright'. A very exciting artist who has been dubbed as 'Hot Country artist to watch 2022' Chase has the world at his feet. We chat with Chase about his journey into music after studying a degree in economics, to his success with his debut album 'Intertwined' and his string of 'Nashville hits the roof shows'. Finally, at the end we play a game with Chase of quick fire questions to give a better insight to him as an individual. We are both very excited to see what the future has in store for Chase as he has everything in abundance.

We are also very lucky this week to be playing an exclusive of Broadtree's latest single 'Inevitable'. It's a fantastic song wrote by Nicole and Armand about two lifelong friends who have feelings for one another however don't know whether to share with each other and break the bond they have or do they live life wondering what if. Welcome to episode 26 of the CountrifiedUK podcast. Firstly, we are joined by UK’s rapid rising country star ‘Olivia Lynn’. At 16 years old Olivia is setting the scene alight with her amazing vocals, fantastic songwriting and her massive personality. Olivia chats to us about the start of her career, how she got into music, some of her future plans and the meaning behind her lyrics. We are also lucky to have Olivia perform live a snippet of her latest track ‘I Love It’ which is due out on February 9th. Definitely a name we are going to be hearing in the near future.

Also we have brought back our spotlight for independent artists this week. Firstly, we have ‘Maddy McKenzie’ who hails all the way from Canada. Maddy is making a name for herself in Canada and is sharply gaining fans from all across the world. We have the pleasure of playing her track ‘Do it Sober’ which showcases her vocal abilities, definitely check out Maddy’s other tracks and follow her on all social media platforms.

We also have ‘Sam Turner and The Cactus Cats’ who is our second independent artists to feature. With such an awesome and intriguing name these guys show us all their country credentials with their track ‘Lonesome For’. They hail from Texas and it most certainly shows in their music, which such an old school country vibe and something we believe is missing in today’s seen these boys fill that void. Welcome to Episode 25 and this week we are lucky to be joined by USA country artist 'Jessica Lynn'. We chat with Jessica about her upcoming UK and European tour starting in May, about some of her latest singles, her future plans and all the work Jessica does outside of music for different causes close to her heart. I'm not sure we've met anyone who works just as hard as Jessica does! 

To close out our show this week we are privilege to have 'Noe Palma' join us as our independent artist of the week. We play his track called 'Love Your Hometown' which a fantastic track and has some real country credentials in it. Noe is a recording artist based all the way in Kansas City,  Missouri. Hi Guys, welcome to episode 24 of the CountrifiedUK podcast. This week we are joined by UK country star 'Jake Aldridge', who joins us for a chat. Jake share his incredible story of his journey into the music industry starting as a rapper and then transitioning into country music artist. We talk in depth with Jake about his songwriting abilities, his early days and about his latest releases. After the interview we are lucky enough to share Jake's latest single 'Down' which is available on all platforms.    

In this weeks episode we are joined by country music rising star ‘Tiona Campbell’. We sit down and chat with Tiona about her fantastic story of how she finally perused music and make it her career. Tiona is a unique artist who is paving her way by combining both Country music and Christian music and is one of the artists who is driving Christian Country forward. We were lucky enough to  have Tiona perform live for us with her latest release ‘Back Porch’. Finally, Tiona talked through her new single which is being released on Friday 21st January 2022 called ‘Underneath’. 

Welcome to our first episode of 2022 guys, ironically it’s episode 22 as well. This episode the boys at CountrifiedUK create their ‘Class of 2022’. Way back in Episode 4 we created our ‘Class of 2021’ so we wanted to create one right at the start of the year. We did our ‘Class of 2022’ slightly different this time, 10 artists, 5 from the USA and 5 from the UK. Alex chose his 5 from the UK which included; Jade Helliwell, Jake Aldridge, Elles Bailey, Harleymoon Kemp and Jack and Tim. Blaine chose his 5 artists from the USA which included; Morgan Wade, Ernest, Alana Springsteen, Chayce Beckham and Restless Road. They go into depth on the reason behind  why these artists have managed to get the crown of CountrifiedUK Class of 2022’.

We also have our first independent artist of 2022. We are lucky to feature ‘Suzi Kory’ who is a Canadian based country artist. Her track ‘A Better Man’ plays out our show. This track is a powerful one with a strong meaning behind it. It’s all about men struggle with mental health so give it a listen and give Suzi a follower and check out some of her other work. 

Welcome back to another episode of the CountrifiedUK podcast. In this episode, we are joined by Sam Williams. Sam is paving his own way in country music with his soulful and unique vocal and style. Sam comes from county music royalty, with his grandfather being Hank Williams and his dad being Hank William Jr. What an amazing story this young man has and we love the stories behind his music.

We are excited to present to you ‘Christmas with CountrifiedUK’. This is our first ever Christmas episode and we’ve got all of the festivities to get you guys in the mood ready for Santa. We are joined by two very special artists ‘Broadtree’ and ‘Christie Huff’. We sit down and chat with them about all things Christmas and some of their favourite traditions. Then they both sing some of their original Christmas songs live for us. In this episode we also put Alex to the test and really see if he loves Christmas as much as he states with a Christmas quiz. We hope this episode helps you feel more Christmasy and we hope you have a fantastic one, spent with family, eating and drinking your body weight and receiving some fantastic gifts.

What a stacked episode we have for you guys this week. With Alex and Blaine just recently returning from the British Country Music Association Awards 2021 down in Chelsea, London. We still down and talk about the experience, winners and nominees, performances and everyone we met on that evening. We also have interviews with Jack & Tim, HarleyMoon Kemp and Georgia Nevada. We also have our independent artist of the week, who is ‘Taylor Tumlinson’. Taylor came on to our radar a bit back after we discovered her on Instagram. We always knew that we wanted her on the show one day and today is the day. Taylor hails from Texas and has an incredible voice and amazing songwriter traits. We play her new track ‘Bigger than Texas’ which before the track Taylor gave us a paragraph to tell us what the track is about. Hey guys, we bring you episode 15 of the CountrifiedUK podcast. This is a bonus episode and a special one as we review the 55th Annual CMA Awards 2021. We talk about what went down, the different Categories, the nominees, the winners, the host and presenters and finally the performers. 

We also have Cole Bradley join us to talk about his new track ‘Party Don’t Start’. Cole is a rising country star who is making some serious noise in Nashville and we were honoured to have him join us. Before we play the track, Cole discuss with us the meaning behind the track and video and introduces himself. This week’s episode Alex and Blaine are joined by a rising country star called ‘Lane Smith’. A Texas native who is making some serious noise with his latest project ‘Volume One’. In our chat with Lane he discusses his upbringing, his job of being a bullfighter for 10 years, to what made him pursue a career in music and talks about future plans for ‘Volume Two’. We’re excited to see how far Lane can go and believe he’s a superstar in the making.

Our music this week is a track named ‘The Island’ from a English band named ‘Fine Lines’. You may remember this band when we had the chance to interview them in episode 10, down at The British Country Music Festival. The 7 piece outfit brings country, Americana and folk vibes in all of there music. This track is taken from their latest album ‘Deadbeat Lullabies’ which we recommended you guys go and check out. 

In this weeks episode, we are joined by duo Broadtree. This episode has a different concept to other interviews we have done as I’m between the interview, Broadtree play live music. The performed 5 track for us and one of which hasn’t even been released yet. You can hear how they met, there journey to becoming Broadtree and the meanings behind all of the songs.

We also have our independent artist this week who is V.Swi and his track ‘Just another country night for me’. He bring a unique style with his traditional country music feel and merges it with modern day music as well. Definitely an artist we are excited about and can’t wait to hear some more track from him.  

Hey Guys, this weeks episode is amazing. To say the least. First off we have an in-depth chat with Candi Carpenter. For those of you that don’t recognise that name, it’ll be one you hear in the future. We had the pleasure of meeting her after her performance at TBCMF and instantly knew we wanted to get an interview for you guys. In our chat we talk about Candi’s upbringing, to her early days of hanging backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, to her finally debut there years later, to her relationship with the legendary Dolly Parton and her experience of the UK. Candi also opens up about some of her struggles which is a fantastic and might help anyone going through these circumstances. And most of all she will charm you with her fantastic humour. 

We also have a fantastic artist to close out our show with their song. This week Kevin Stokley has his amazing track ‘Her and her hometown’. Both share their stories of how they got into music and how they transformed it into a career, they chat about their tracks and the meaning behind them and what the rest of 2024 has in store for them both. 

After a few weeks off and finally getting back to the grind, Alex and Blaine are back with a bang with the week's episode. We have an interview with recording artist 'Ryan Harmon' who's some of you may recognise from American Idol. Ryan talks to us about his career, his experience on American Idol and giving tips from his past experience on songwriting. We have music from our independent artist of the week, 'Grand River Sound' and their track 'Where I Belong' but this time it is the acoustic version. We bring you coverage from all the 3 days of live music, with interviews with the artists and feedback through out the days. This was a special event for us as it was the first time we have been able to cover a live event and the first time in conducting face to face interviews. 

We are joined by The Remedy Club, Hayley McKay, Tommy Atkins, Elles Bailey and Fine lines. We got to interview these artists after their sets and find out how they enjoyed their performances.

In this weeks episode we are joined by Christie Huff, who is a country singer who is based out in Los Angles. She is slowly paving her own sound in the country music scene with mixing country and a pop style which is also very soulful. We chat to her about everything, ranging from her childhood, some of her previous performances to the meaning behind some of her songs.

We also have our independent artist of the week, who is 'Dixie Lang' this time. Dixie hails from Scotland and has a very unique voice and style. Her song that we feature is 'Having a real good time' and she takes on a very traditional country style that will have you up and dancing.
