Episode 99 – We Don’t Allow Dogs on the Fairy Farm

Welcome back to Episode 99 of Coon Hunting Confidentials. Daniel, Dustin, and Ryan kick things off like always with some classic back-and-forth banter, catching up on hunting, dogs, and whatever else happens to come up along the way. You never really know where the intro’s headed—and that’s half the reason you tune in.

After the break, the guys head out west and bring on a coon and cat hunter from Washington State who does things a little differently. Instead of the traditional hounds most are used to, he hunts with West Coast cat hounds, and he breaks down what makes those dogs unique and how they get the job done in his terrain.

But the real highlight of the episode is the stories.

One night, he had an encounter with an older woman who claimed her property was something called the “Fairy Farm”!  Strange enough on its own, but it doesn’t stop there.

He also shares a wild moment when something—or someone—threw a cinderblock over a garage, nearly hitting his vehicle, along with a few more encounters that’ll make you question what really goes on in the woods.

From different styles of hunting to downright unexplainable moments, Episode 99 brings a mix of knowledge, mystery, and the kind of stories you won’t hear just anywhere.

Welcome to episode 89 of Coon Hunting Confidential!
 Every other Wednesday, The HT Mafia mixes their uniqueness, coon hunting, comedy, and creepy stories to bring you all-new episodes of CHC!   

This episode goes back about three years to Autumn Oaks in Indiana. Mr. Randy Bell told the fellas a story about a terrifying encounter he had one night while coon hunting in Sherwood Forest, West Virginia. Mr. Randy is a seasoned coon hunter who mostly hunts Blueticks. For a while, it looked like his story might never get recorded for the public to hear. Thankfully, Mr. Randy agreed to come on the show to talk about coon hunting and his creepy encounters.

That experience shook Randy so badly that he now feels he has to see this thing face-to-face before he dies. This is one of the best stories ever recorded on this podcast. The fellas hope you enjoy it as much as they did—because this conversation is an absolute banger!

This episode features the HT Mafia talking with our guest coon hunter from Arkansas. He shares a coon hunting experience that happened not once, but twice, within months of each other (taking Daniel back to a similar event he himself experienced not too long ago). Not only does our guest share that experience, he also shares some insight about the mysterious Dover Lights of Arkansas! Also on this week’s episode, Daniel surprises Dustin and Ryan with a second guest coon hunter from South Carolina who shares something he experienced near Historic Brattonsville.

In this episode the HT Mafia sits down and talks with David McKee. David is the president of the South Carolina State Coon Hunters Association, the Grand American Association, and the Whitmire Coon Hunters Association.
Listen as we share old coon hunting stories, chat about the importance of local coon clubs, and have several good laughs along the way. David even tells a coon hunting story that happened as a teenager when he and a friend were hunting near a cemetery! It was good to sit down and talk to a life-long friend.

Trent is originally from South Carolina but currently resides in Missouri. Trent is a former Marine and has only been coon hunting for a few years. What makes this episode so unique is that he talks about an encounter he had while stationed in Yemen. He talks about a dark paranormal event that happened in the basement of a Middle Eastern mud brick hotel. This story is wild and a must hear!!!
