We feel that more than ever, the life of the intercessor, Rees Howells, is the prototype for our day and age. Last year during our Contend 2021 Gathering, we had the privilege of having Matt Lockett (the director of the Justice House of Prayer D.C.) come and share with us on the life of Rees Howells. As one of the foremost experts on the life of this man who lived through WWI and WWII, Matt’s teaching is one that is incredibly insightful, inspirational, and weighty for not just last year’s gathering, but for the hour that we now find ourselves in.   

As Matt challenges us in his teaching on Rees' life: “What is God doing in your generation? Every boundary in society is being challenged right now. Are you praying the kinds of prayers that re-draw those lines?”
