In this episode I get to interview the mastermind behind Team Poland's 2nd place - the man, the myth, the big bossman - Typhus. The conversation does not focus on his games even though he did serve as the playing captain due to some mishaps right before the event. Conversely, we invest a lot of time talking about Poland's team building process, army selection, the mind games and the sacrifices the team went through while preparing for the event. We also talk about estimations and pairings and wether they played out the way the team intended and whether the armies performed according to the team's intentions. Definitely a treat for anyone considering playing this games in teams on competitive level or going to the WTC.

This episode was recorded in July but due to summer breaks, WTC taking up most of our air time as well as preparations for our own local 3City event we could not publish it sooner. Who would have thought that the biggest devotee of the Four-Armed Emperor in Poland would actually be a Brit? But he is our Brit! And you can't have him! Well... actually you can for the next hour and fourty minutes... In this episode Joker and tweak^ interview Danny Porter, a player who has taken the Warsaw tournament scene by storm, who despite having an outdated codex managed to regularly place in the top 10 of the biggest events. And if you've listened to this podcast for a while now you'd know that even though the Polish events gather waaaay fewer than 100 players at a time they are still absolute sharktanks with former and present National Team members, aspirants to the NT and other regulars duking it out proper WTC style, so regular top 10s are an achievement in itself. Welcome to the first episode of Season 3 of Contact Lost Podcast!
