In this show, Steven returns to do a little constellating with me. He was one of the first guests I ever had on the podcast back in 2009, and we've had a few since then, but it's been quite a while since we've had a catch-up. It was really nice to talk with him and, in a way, explore his life's work and his take on where astrology currently is and where it might be going. If you're listening to find more dirt on the wizard, look elsewhere.

Today I'm joined by mythologist, storyteller, and author Michael Meade to explore his new book, The Heart of Transformation. We speak about Psyche—the ancient word for both soul and butterfly—and what metamorphosis asks of us in a time when one world seems to be collapsing, and another has not yet revealed its form. This is a conversation about myth, calling, initiation, AI, ecological crisis, and the hidden genius that may only emerge when we enter the darkness of the cocoon.

In this yearly installment of Mark and I having our philosophical discussions, we talk about where astrology lands for us in our lives, especially at this point in our careers. We talk about the Pluto-Neptune cycle and many other fascinating subjects in between. I know many of you look forward to these conversations. I don't think you'll be disappointed in this one.

Using real‑world market examples, we explore how to turn these planetary forces into practical trading and life‑planning tools.  It's always a pleasure to talk with Ray. Dan Waites returns to look at the minor grand trine forming this summer — what André Barbault once called the peak of greatness for the 21st century. Each year, I try to make my way up to Wales to spend some quality time with Mark. We also try to record a sliver of our endless conversations. This year, we stumbled into the existential questions around astrology: Why did we get involved? Why are we still involved? And really, what is valuable about it…? Some of these ideas, along with many others, can be found in this short podcast. I hope you enjoy. If you do, there are many others between the two of us.

This show was meant to be about lunar standstills, yet that's not quite what happened.  It often happens with Brett and I.  Lots of Gemini between us.  What ended up being discussed were the three main zodiacs, some astronomy, and a hint of the lunar standstill.  We will treat this one as part 1; part 2 will cover what we originally set out to explore.  It's more lecture than anything, but I think you will learn loads from listening.

Ray Grasse returns to the pod to discuss his new book of essays So, What Am I Doing Here, Anyway? Ranging beyond the astrological into the philosophical, it's a thought provoking collection of the questions we've all asked before, like: How does synchronicity relate to astrology? How in the world do charts still work once a person has already died? Or, Why is it that we are pattern-seeking creatures?  I had a great time reading many of these essays and I'm excited to share this conversation with you.  Enjoy.

In this pod, I give some time to explain the latest changes to the show.  For many of you, nothing may seem to change; for others, it may be confusing or abrupt.  Inspired by the Jungian concept of constellating psyche, this new title borrows some of its spirit around fully engaging with "archetypes" and leans more into the planetary side of the equation.  There will be more focus on cycles moving forward.  There will also be many more shows that may seem unrelated to astrology but will be essential for our exploration of all these wyrd ideas.  Glad I've still got you along for the ride.

In this show, I try to reconcile the differences between Stoicism and Astrology.  There was a time when they existed side-by-side, and it seems they are doing so again today.  Both have seen a generous climb in popularity in recent years and I feel they need eachother—well, one needs the other more than the other.  I make a case for this in the pod.  It's a solo one.  I hope you enjoy it.

In this episode, Jenn returns to share with us some intel from the outer edges of our solar system.  You see, in the early 20th century, there was a school of German astrologers who became fascinated in these "hypothetical" planets beyond Neptune.  This was before Pluto's discovery and gained much momentum in certain circles.  If you have ever seen the option to put Cupido or Hades in your chart, it's these Uranian planets we explore.  Fascinating material.  Jenn is always a treat to talk to.  I learn something new every time—without fail.  Enjoy!

In this show, I share one of my favorite theories of how astrology works and how such a simple technique can change your life forever.  It relates to dreaming.  The overlap between dreams and transits has intrigued me from the beginning; I have learned so much from the interplay between the two that I feel it's now time to share a few of my findings.  I hope it inspires you to do the same.

This show is more of a check-in than an entertaining podcast, yet it's an important one.  The podcast is nearing it's Saturn opposition and it's bringing up a lot.  I share where I'm at but also open the floor up to all of you to assist in dreaming up the future of this little hole to heaven.  I do hope you listen.

Amanda Walsh returns to the show for the second time to share with us some good insights about the Maui fire and explore with me the incessant concern of AI for our field.  We do have a chart for the fire, but if you have a more accurate chart, please email it to me.  I hope you enjoy our conversation.

In this show, Mark Jones returns!  We could consider this one to be the 10th anniversary for us; it was back in 2013 when we first met via the pod, having finally met in person in 2019 to deepen our rapport.  Now, officially an IRL ally, I try to make it up to Wales as often as possible to hang and record if it's in the air.  This visit it was definitely in the air.

Enjoy

In this show, we revisit the Leo star point of the Venus cycle.  The last one on the subject was 8 years ago—in the Summer of 15'.  They could be listened back to back, or stand alone.  It's my hope that this exploration helps build some wyrd context for when Venus gets close.

Jules Cashford joins me for this conversation.  It's a welcome interruption to the solo shows I've been doing this year.  We had planned to talk back in 22', so I was pleased to have that plan come full circle, and manifest.  We talk mainly about Eleusis.  The moon, the goddess, and the subjects of all her books make entrances into our conversation as well.  If you're not familiar with Jules' work, you will be now.  Enjoy

It's that time again.  The dragon is close.  Rahu and Ketu are about to devour the Sun and Moon.  Every year, at least 4 times it occurs, and this year is going to be another exciting one in regards to eclipses.  We will cover them in this show, mainly focusing on those of the Spring, but also talking about the Saros Series, which will serve as some timeless content as well. Hope you enjoy your listen.

With Mars now beyond the post-shadow of that retrograde period in Gemini, we have entered fresh terrain, yet remain OOB.  This is a podcast meant to be both timely and timeless.  We will explore out-of-bounds Mars, its Fall in Cancer, and reflect deeply on what just happened.  I hope you learn something both new and old by listening.

Soon, Saturn will sail into Pisces, leaving his home turf behind.  For the past 5 years, it's been Saturn-ruled signs and now we return to what it was like in the early 90's.  In this show, we see what ChapGPT has to say about this, we explore the culture of then and now, and take a sober look at Peter Pan.  I hope you enjoy your listen-through.

This show is all about Pluto's transition into Aquarius.  With all the hype around this "non-planets" ingress in March I thought it a good idea to take some time and spend it in the 18th and 16th centuries to see if I could find anything new.  It was an educational thought experiment and I hope it's educational for you as well.  Let's take a look a the unseen treasuries Pluto has begun to uncover, shall we?

In this show, Olga joins us to share her W. D. Gann obsession with us.  I've been studying Gann for six months, and I can confirm, that her 'obsession' is warranted.  The legendary Wall st. trader used astrology, numerology, geometry, and many other esoteric methods to beat the market. We recorded this just as Mars was sitting on his Gemini Sun. Perfect timing!  I hope you enjoy this introduction to this enigmatic man.

This show came together in a wyrd way.  I was planning on inviting each of them on for separate podcasts, yet before I could, on Twitter we were all tagged in a post asking when I was going to have them on.  So we decided to turn it into a trialogue of sorts.  If you aren't familiar with SJ or Dan, they've been creating this wonderful series on Youtube about the astrology of the 2020's.  Link to that below.  And here is our conversation. Enjoy

Jenn and I may be the same age, but she has been studying Astrology much longer than I.  She also has recently created an invaluable astrological library in Olympia, WA called CAELi, which we talk much about.  She is a treasure trove of intel and wisdom.  For instance, we talk a lot about the upcoming Venus conjunction and her unique take on this particular cazimi was deeply educational for me.  I think you will enjoy hearing what she has to say Have a listen.

A few years back, when I was on a storytelling retreat with Martin Shaw in Crete, is where Andreas and I met.  A week of stories, wine, and late nights with a Venus retrograde in Scorpio is how I remember it.  He and I had many conversations about runes, lost constellations and dragons. And I don't know why it's taken this long to record a podcast together, but here we are.  Enjoy

Ray Grasse joins me for this show.  I've been aware of Ray for years, yet I had no clue we had so many similarities.  Both Gemini's with strangely similar approaches to Astrology, we also have backgrounds with Kriya Yoga, Zen, and a deep love for Bob Dylan. We were supposed to talk about Russia and the US throughout this conversation, yet only touched on the subject.  It's a fun listen.

In this show, Anne Baring, one of the great voices for the Divine Feminine and understanding our place in this dreaming cosmos, joins me for a meandering conversation about her life, the Great Ages, the Mother, and where to find hope.  It was an honor to finally speak with her.  And if you aren't familiar with her works, I highly recommend picking up a few of her books.  They are heavy.

In this show, I find myself solo once again, this time exploring a few of the ideas that keep me optimistic.  All three, in some way, relate to Uranus.  I do my best to make sense of my theory of our time, and where we are headed.  I hope it leaves you optimistic as well.

In this show, Gemini Brett returns to share some numeric and geometric insights into the long game of the Jupiter/Neptune cycle.  The conversation sprang from my recent article on the subject entitled "The Slippery Slope," in which I bring Uranus in Taurus into the mix, and compare the last time this configuration happened in 1856 to the present.  It's not what you think it is.

In this show, Tansy returns for the third time.  In the first, we talked love and purpose; in the second, fate and destiny; in this one, we talk about the future of crypto seen through the cards and the stars.  Her spread gave me the hopium needed in this time of extraordinary FUD.  Also, studying the BTC chart in more depth, I injected myself with some as well.  Tansy also has an amazing course starting soon all about onboarding into the cryptoverse and bringing you to the level of expert.  It's an amazing course (I'm not biased at all).

In this show, I finally get to have a chat with the man behind the Chandra Symbols.  If you are a reader of my writings, you will be familiar with my liberal usage of these symbols.  I transitioned to using them years ago from the Sabians, due to the clear resonance they had with my experience.  The images are rich, thought-provoking, and proper soul food.  John tells the whole story of how they came about, and how the other symbol systems he uses did as well.  Enjoy
