Ep 27 - How Candice Mason from Mother Cuppa used her personal experience to build her dream business!30 Nov 202300:33:26

Today we have a wonderful guest, Candice Candice. She is the founder of Mother Cuppa, which is a range of herbal teas that are blended together to support women through mid-life stages. We talk about pushing through that fear and starting your business, imposter syndrome and my favorite- being your authentic self on social media.

In her late teens Candice was diagnosed with endometriosis, her treatment resulted in her undergoing a medically induced but reversible menopause. She found herself, at just 40, entering early menopause. Candice explored natural remedies to support her through this time and found it amazing to learn you could select and mix different plants for specific health benefits. She turned more and more to herbs and plants to support her changing body and wellbeing- having suffered with issues with sleep, energy, anxiety, endometriosis, and the initial stages of perimenopause. She’s now sharing her blends with ladies in a similar position.

BONUS - SCARY Mistakes on Social Media31 Oct 202300:27:31

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I thought this was so fun for the season! 👻🎃 In this episode we go deep into these mistakes.

Join the conversation in my Facebook group, Confident Content Creators: Mastering the Art of Social Media Marketing!

Now, I wanted to add my own tip to the list first, and this goes for all things in business, not just social media.
👉Not continuing your education. For example, I'm a social media coach, this came to me in an email that I willingly subscribed to from another social media coach. Why? Because it's vital to reinvest in your education and always be learning and growing.

Now for the rest of her "scary mistakes" email!
- Using trending reels that don't tie to your brand
- Posting what you want and not what your audience wants
- Not engaging with your audience
- Sharing your content with no strategy behind it
- Not scheduling a reel while the audio is still trending
- Buying followers instead of gaining them organically
- Not optimizing your bio on your profile
- Focusing only on the quantity of posts rather than the quality
- Not having a content calendar for your social media

Are you guilty of any of these mistakes? It's so easy to fall into, and I know I have a time or two. It's okay to make mistakes, but these are simple ones we can avoid!

Ep 18 - Dealing Hope and Disrupting the Content Creation Process with O'tion VanOhm18 Aug 202300:43:25

O’tion teaches us that SYSTEMS ARE SEXY and how you can simplify so that you can strategize and make more confident content to share and convert!

Being the co-creator of a trauma healing modality may seem like an odd pursuit considering she was expelled from high school; but going against the grain was literally hardwired into O'tion when she was in the womb! Rocking radical transparency and the ability to make even the blackest sheep feel normal, O'tion is the ultimate example of what's possible when you OWN your story instead of hide from it. Her Dad's suicide in 2015 was the catalyst to her beginning to choose more from life. As an androgynous, queer, self-taught entrepreneur who grew EHA to a 6 figure+ per year business since the year they launched, O'tion loves mentoring entrepreneurial practitioners who are ready to build their own company without abandoning their values, personality, or authenticity.

Hannah Plourde is an Intuitive Business Mentor who helps coaches & creatives build the strong strategic and energetic foundations of a wildly successful business. After doubling her income in 6 months after starting her business in 2020, Hannah learned the hard way that you cannot rely on strategy alone to grow a business. When her sales began to dip, Hannah realized that her self-worth was attached to the results she was getting and when that was stripped away she had to redefine her identity. It was at this moment when Hannah committed to balancing the strategy with the energetics and everything changed. Using her intuition as her guide she not only brought her sales back to the point it was at before the dip, but surpassed it. Now, Hannah guides her clients to get consistent, high income months without sacrificing their time or mental freedom.

Ep 7 - What impact does the mistakes in your copy have on your content? - with Vicki's Red Pen05 May 202300:25:59

Vicki has always loved reading and has an eye for words, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Her avid reading as a child, teen, and young mom fueled her passion to help authors present a polished book to their readers. This led her to begin a career in editing and proofreading. She has been polishing content for authors and business owners for four years as Vicki's Red Pen.

She enjoys editing on her back patio anytime the weather allows it. Homonyms are her favorite thing to find. Fantasy and historical fiction are her favorite genres to read.

She lives in Utah with her husband, Dan. Together they have six daughters and three dogs.
