Money, Women & What We Should Have Been Taught: Part 209 Sep 202600:26:33
Money, Women & What We Should Have Been Taught: Part 2

Okay, we know the basics. Now we have questions.

In Part 2 with Melanye Goodhue from Pulse Wealth, we basically do what any reasonable women would do when given access to someone who really understands money: we pick her brain.

We get into the questions women actually have about building wealth, investing, financial independence, relationships and money, planning for the future, and what we should be doing with our money right now.

No judgment. No pretending we already know what all the acronyms mean. And absolutely no assumption that someone else is going to take care of our finances for us.

This is the money conversation we wish someone had sat us down and had with us years ago.

By this point, Rebecca was prepared to follow Melanye not only into a fire, but apparently into any financial decision she ever makes again (and hired her shortly before this episode aired!)

Money, Women & What We Should Have Been Taught: Part 102 Sep 202600:26:52
Money, Women & What We Should Have Been Taught: Part 1

Why did we learn the Pythagorean theorem but not how to invest?

This week on Cliterally Obsessed, we’re talking about something that affects almost every part of women’s lives but somehow still feels intimidating to talk about: money.

We’re joined by Melanye Goodhue from Pulse Wealth, who managed to explain finances in a way that was practical, approachable, and refreshingly free of finance-bro energy (no offence, bros!).

In Part 1, we go back to basics. We talk about building wealth, investing, saving, debt, planning for the future, and why women can’t afford to disengage from their finances.

If you’ve ever thought, “I really should understand this stuff better,” this episode is for you.

Rebecca was so impressed by the end of this conversation that she told Melanye she would follow her into a fire.

We stand by that endorsement.

Butt Stuff 201: Okay, Butt What About…?26 Aug 202600:25:48

We covered the basics. Now we’re going deeper. Figuratively, gals.

Madds, co-owner of Wicked Wanda’s, is back for Part 2 of our completely shame-free conversation about anal play, pleasure, toys, and all the questions you may not exactly want sitting in your Google search history.

We’re moving beyond Butt Stuff 101 and getting into the practical stuff: choosing the right toys, why a flared base is non-negotiable, hygiene, comfort, communication, common mistakes, and what you should know before getting more adventurous.

As always, this is sex education without the awkwardness, judgment, or pretending people AREN'T curious about this stuff.

Because if you’re going to explore your butt, you might as well know what you’re doing.

Butt Stuff 101: Everything You Wanted to Ask but Were Too Afraid To- Part 119 Aug 202600:29:13

Butt stuff. People are doing it. People are curious about it. And yet somehow, nobody seems to know how to actually talk about it.

This week on Cliterally Obsessed, we’re joined by Madds, co-owner of Wicked Wanda’s, for a completely shame-free Butt Play 101.

We’re getting into the questions people actually have: Why do people like anal play? Where do you even start? How much lube are we talking? What toys are beginner-friendly? What should absolutely not go in your butt? And how do you explore without turning a fun experiment into an emergency department visit?

Whether you’re curious, experienced, or simply listening because you cannot believe we made an entire episode about butts, this one is for you.

Come for the butt stuff. Stay for the anatomy, safety, pleasure, and extremely important discussion about flared bases.

Everything You Never Learned About Sex Toys & Lube08 Jul 202600:50:53

Let's be honest—most of us never received great sex education, and we definitely didn't learn about sex toys or lubricants.

In this episode, we sit down with Madison Dorion, co-owner of Wicked Wanda's (with her MOTHER!) and founder of the Climax Conference, to answer the questions women are often too embarrassed to ask.

We cover everything from choosing your first vibrator and finding the right lubricant to common myths, pelvic floor health, painful sex, menopause, orgasm, and why pleasure deserves a place in healthcare. We also talk about how education—not shame—is at the heart of creating healthier, more fulfilling sex lives.

Whether you're simply curious, navigating changes after childbirth or menopause, experiencing pain with sex, or wondering if all the hype around sex toys is justified, this conversation is packed with practical, evidence-informed advice and plenty of laughs along the way.

I can also make it a little funnier or more click-worthy if this is going on YouTube or Spotify.

Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy: What Everyone Should Know24 Jun 202600:54:18

Pelvic floor health is an important part of overall well-being, yet it’s often overlooked or misunderstood. In this episode, we explore the role of pelvic floor physiotherapy, including how the pelvic floor functions, common symptoms of dysfunction, and the conditions pelvic floor physiotherapists help treat. We discuss topics such as bladder and bowel health, pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and practical strategies for improving pelvic floor function. Whether you're experiencing symptoms yourself or simply want to learn more, this conversation offers valuable insights into a vital aspect of health.

Let’s Talk About C-Sections- Emergency, Planned & Everything In Between10 Jun 202600:52:53

This week, we’re talking sunroof babies. From dramatic emergency C-sections to calm planned deliveries, we get into what REALLY happens during a C-section — the good, the scary, the weird pressure-pulling sensation nobody warned you about, and why recovery can feel like getting hit by a truck while simultaneously breastfeeding every 2 hours.

CLITERally Uncomfortable- Talking Painful Sex27 May 202601:04:40

Painful sex is incredibly common — but that doesn’t mean it’s normal. In this episode, we’re talking about all the reasons sex can hurt: hormonal changes, pelvic floor dysfunction, dryness, endometriosis, vulvodynia, fear, stress, postpartum changes, and more. We break down what pain during sex can actually feel like, why so many women are dismissed, and most importantly, what can help. Because “just relax” was never a treatment plan.

Why Are You So Tired?13 May 202600:52:49

You’re not “just busy”… and it’s not normal to feel exhausted all the time.

This week, we sit down with Sarah Vadeboncoeur, naturopathic doctor, to unpack what’s really behind fatigue in women—and why it’s so often dismissed or oversimplified.

We get into the real drivers of low energy (hint: it’s not just sleep), from hormonal shifts and insulin resistance to nutrient deficiencies and chronic stress—all things that quietly drain your system over time. Persistent fatigue is often a signal that something deeper is off, not something you need to “push through.”

Dr. Sarah breaks down how to start identifying the root cause, what your body might actually be asking for, and why more coffee isn’t the solution (coffee IS amazing, though!).

If you’ve ever thought “why am I so tired all the time?”—this episode is for you.

It’s Not About the Food: The Truth About Emotional Eating29 Apr 202600:53:52

You’re not “out of control”… and it’s not a willpower problem. This week, we sit down with Lynn Therrien, founder of the Centre for Emotional Eating, to unpack what emotional eating actually is—and why diets keep missing the point.

We get into the real drivers behind cravings, why food becomes comfort (or control), and how shame keeps people stuck in the cycle. Lynn breaks down the psychology behind emotional eating and how to start building a relationship with food that doesn’t feel like a constant battle.

If you’ve ever thought “why can’t I just stop?”—this episode is for you.

Body Image Beyond Diet Culture with Dr Mel15 Apr 202601:16:05

This week, we sit down with Ottawa clinical psychologist Dr. Mel Arias-Valenzuela, founder and clinical director of Uprise Psychology & Wellness, whose work focuses extensively on eating disorders, body image, and helping people heal their relationship with their bodies and food.

Together, we explore how body image develops, why so many people struggle with shame and self-criticism, and how our relationship with our bodies is shaped by culture, expectations, and lived experience. Dr. Mel shares how these patterns show up clinically—and more importantly, how they can change.

We talk about perfectionism, control, and the quiet ways body image can affect mental health, relationships, and daily life. This conversation offers a compassionate, evidence-based perspective on how to move toward greater self-acceptance without toxic positivity or oversimplification.

This episode is not about loving your body all the time. It’s about understanding it—and learning to treat yourself with the same kindness you offer others.

Talking Botox, Lasers, and Skincare with Dr. Sam Hetz : What Actually Makes a Difference01 Apr 202600:58:56

This week, we sit down with Ottawa physician Dr. Sam Hetz to talk about one of the most requested topics: skincare and aging.

In a world filled with endless products, conflicting advice, and powerful marketing, Dr. Hetz breaks down what actually makes a difference—and what doesn’t. We discuss how skin ages over time, the role of sunscreen, retinoids, and medical-grade skincare, and when treatments like neuromodulators, lasers, and other procedures can be helpful.

Most importantly, we talk about how to approach aging in a way that feels intentional and empowering—not reactive or fear-driven.

This episode is about cutting through the noise and understanding how to care for your skin with clarity, confidence, and evidence.

Not "Just Bad Cramps”: Jess Packman’s Endometriosis Story18 Mar 202600:55:40

In honour of Endometriosis Awareness Month, we’re joined by Jess Packman—Ottawa-based hairstylist and funny-girl —who shares her deeply personal journey with this often-misunderstood disease.

From her very first painful period to years of unanswered questions, delayed diagnosis, fertility struggles, and ultimately the difficult(ish) decision to undergo a hysterectomy, Jess speaks candidly about what it’s really like to live with endometriosis. This is the side of medicine you won’t find in textbooks—the uncertainty, the grief, the resilience, and the strength it takes to keep advocating for yourself when your pain is dismissed.

Raw, honest, and—true to Jess—often funny, this conversation is a powerful reminder that endometriosis is not “just bad cramps,” but a life-altering condition that deserves recognition, research, and better care.

Listen in to Jess’s story—and to the reality so many women live every day.

Why do I pee so much? 04 Feb 202600:33:52

Do you know every bathroom location within a 3-km radius of your house? Do you sit down to pee… and then pee again 12 minutes later? Welcome. You are among friends.

In this episode, we talk about the very under-glamorous, very real question so many women whisper to themselves daily: why am I peeing this much? Is it my bladder? My pelvic floor? My hormones? My coffee addiction? My anxiety? My perimenopause? My blood sugar? (Spoiler: sometimes… yes.)

We break down what’s actually normal, what’s not, why “just drink less water” is terrible advice, the difference between urgency and frequency, and how your bladder might be reacting to things you’d never suspect. From UTIs to overactive bladder, pelvic floor tension to insulin resistance, this episode connects dots you didn’t know were related.
