Join us as we discuss the events of AEW Dynamite (November 5) and AEW Collision (November 8) as well as Ring of Honor’s HonorClub Episode 140 (November 6)! We also figure out how to record a podcast in the first place!
--
[00:33] The build to Blood and Guts: discussing the advantage matches on Dynamite and Collision and what they mean for the men’s and women’s Blood and Guts events coming up this Wednesday, November 12!
[23:13] Kyle Fletcher and Mark Briscoe determine the stipulation for their upcoming TNT Championship match at Full Gear. We speculate about sister-kissing, puce suits, and what the Death Riders think about Don Callis.
[29:02] Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament: Athena and Mercedes Moné face off against the Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) in the quarterfinals! What’s next and how quickly are we filling the championship bracket? Also, Athena cuts a promo for her upcoming ROH World Championship match with Harley Cameron on HonorClub November 20th and we are extremely enthusiastic!
[39:25] The new AEW National Championship belt and the Casino Gauntlet match that will award it at Full Gear: too many belts or just enough? Will we see a victor from the Hurt Syndicate, the Demand, or JetSpeed? Audiences, stop trying to make Ricochet shut up.
[43:37] Dynamite review continued: The Opps vs. Hook, Eddie Kingston, and Hangman Adam Page for the trios title; Shibata’s official heel turn nut-tap; Jurassic Express, the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Josh Alexander, and Chekhov’s knife; Brodido avenges the honor of Abuela Bandido; and Kat can’t help herself talking about Kota Ibushi weight-bearing as tolerated status post femur open reduction & internal fixation.
[53:05] Collision review continued: Bang Bang Gang vs. FTR (with a united front of f%!@ FTR); Juice Robinson’s spectacular jacket; Kyle Fletcher vs. Ace Austin; Megan Bayne in Stardom; an extended aside about Mercedes Moné’s international belt collection; Kris Statlander’s stairwell promo and alien morality; TayJay in action vs. Hyan and Maya World; Max Caster and Anthony Bowens being the silliest boys; and an extremely unserious threat to the structural integrity of the Prudential Center.
[1:11:30] HonorClub review (going backwards for some reason): Lee Moriarty vs. Komander in a Pure Rules Proving Ground match; The Swirl vs. Willie Mack and Alex Zayne; Los Ice Creams, sundae composition, and the hygienic concerns of licking stuff; Satnam Singh and the joy of big dudes getting thrown around like little dudes; Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta, and the sheer audacity of Angélica Risk; FINALLY Trish Adora vs. Deonna Purrazzo for the women’s Pure Rules Championship Tournament; Alex Windsor & Yuka Sakazaki vs. Robyn Renegade & Taya Valkyrie; Hechicero and Lance Archer in action; Daddy Magic Kingdom vs. SkyFlight; STP vs. the Workhorsemen and Beef for the ROH six-man tag belts; and griping about the badly-behaved crowd at Daily’s Place.
[1:24:50] What else did we watch? CMLL Día de Muertos; lich kings of the ring; Champions of the Galaxy; Chuck Taylor in pleather epaulets (!!); give Orange Cassidy a cape!
[1:29:05] What haven’t we gotten around to watching yet? Pro Wrestling EVE Elite Encounters and Kazuchika Okada’s big WrestleKingdom announcement
[1:30:45] Bean of the Week: Chiapas black beans from the Rancho Gordo Bean Club

Episode 5: Too Many Graps - ROH Final Battle, AEW Dynamite/Collision, Indie Wrestling
Épisode 5
mercredi 10 décembre 2025 • Durée 01:55:31
Join us as we struggle with illness and home heating drama, but manage to take time to talk about Ring of Honor’s YouTube special (December 2), HonorClub Episode 144 (December 4), and Final Battle (December 5), AEW Dynamite (December 3), AEW Collision (December 6), GCW Say You Will (December 5), and assorted treats from CMLL and the indies!
[01:15] Quick recap: The Death Riders visit CMLL for Viernes Espectacular (November 28) and behave badly. It’s not hip to be gobernable. Claudio Castagnoli gets manhandled (and gets the gold)! Difunto gets his kicks in.
[07:12] A huge week for Ring of Honor, culminating in Final Battle! We bring you the highlights from the ROH YouTube special and this week’s HonorClub before a full recap of Final Battle. Will Dalton Castle nab the AEW National Championship? Which pure wrestlers will reign supreme? Is this the beginning of the Mercedes Moné crashout era? Will Bandido survive five other impressive men trying to eliminate him? Plus, Kat has a spicy take on the ROH women’s world championship title match and forever championships.
[59:22] AEW Dynamite and Collision recap: We walk story by story through the various feuds and friendships of AEW. On the men’s title scene, Eddie Kingston prepares to take on Samoa Joe while Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page continue their silent partnership. We sit awhile in the C2 Corner, where Jack Perry will be replacing Darby Allin and the Death Riders, Conglomeration, and Don Callis Family weave an unholy braid. The women’s roster enjoys a Hardcore Holiday Deathmatch and a champagne toast, while Jamie Hayter & Kris Statlander forge a temporary bond to take down the Triangle of Madness. All the mid-level championships are in play!
[1:48:32] A visit to the indies for some much-needed nonsense! “Fancy” Ryan Clancy gets a little heely defending his IWTV title and Effy establishes his own crashout era on GCW Say You Will. We enjoy some intergender sicko stuff to cap off our week.

Episode 4: We Were There! - AEW Full Gear & JCW Home for the Holidays
Épisode 4
dimanche 30 novembre 2025 • Durée 02:15:57
Join us as we share our audience experiences from a crazy sickos’ weekend! We’ll also talk about the Thanksgiving episodes of AEW Dynamite and Collision (November 26 & 27) and Ring of Honor HonorClub Episode 143 (November 28), speculate on the Continental Classic, and give a preview of ROH Final Battle.
[1:00] A brief overview of our Jersey weekend, which included our first AEW pay-per-view event as well as our first indie show! Are wrestling fans as stinky as they say? What’s a Brazilian hot dog, anyway?
[03:12] Full Gear storylines and their Dynamite/Collision fallout: The Young Bucks reunite with Kenny Omega, the Casino Gauntlet/National Championship and Ricochet’s obnoxious champ era, the women’s four-way stipulation stipulation (and Toni Storm destroying/impregnating Mox and Marina), Sisters of Sin vs. Babes of Wrath on Dynamite, Boom & Doom vs. Rocky Romero & our close personal friend Trent Beretta, Bang Bang Boglehead Gang, the devastation of Brodido’s loss to FTR and speculation on the men’s tag division…
[31:06] AEW Women’s World Championship: a great match between Kris Statlander and Mercedes Moné, with a heaping serving of crowd misogyny. Kat tries to balance match talk with ranting, to mixed success. Then, Thekla vs. Tay Melo and Red Velvet’s promo on Collision lead us to more women’s title scene talk.
[43:20] AEW Men’s World Championship: we’ve all been going through it! The crowd experience of a shocking upset and even more shocking conclusion to Full Gear. We talk a lot about our feelings and about things that glimmer in the dark. Also: phrasing!, Eddie Kingston’s stages of grief, and Al-Anon fodder.
[1:03:42] It’s Continental Classic time!!! Now that we’ve figured out what it means and are appropriately hyped, we talk about the Full Gear matches involving the C2 participants and discuss the events of the first week of the C2 on Dynamite and Collision. Protokada?! Protoshita?!? Hard times for the babyface gang, but oh my GOD, Kevin Knight! Also, a detour about Mark Briscoe’s dinner plans, and a special chant for Mox.
[1:42:30] Ring of Honor Final Battle preview! Who will challenge Ricochet for his shiny new belt? Will Athena vanquish Persephone? How about Bandido defending his title in a six-man elimination match? Why no Swirl? As always, we talk about the pure rules division… now with surprise Nigel McGuinness!
[1:56:45] JCW Home for the Holidays: our first indie wrestling experience, at ringside! We had an absolute blast and learned a lot about the sacred duty of wrestling spectatorship. We also determine the appropriate thirst level for discussing Charles Mason, share the joy of cheering with little girls and nearly being ended by a flying Lee Moriarty, and engage in some absurd fantasy booking.

Épisode 3
samedi 22 novembre 2025 • Durée 01:06:09
Join us for a special Friday-night preview of AEW Full Gear, after we discuss the events of AEW Dynamite/Collision (November 19) and Ring of Honor’s HonorClub Episode 142 (November 20)!
[02:18] Dynamite/Collision recap: our take on Ricochet’s cheap heat, Speedball’s salesmanship, and the build to Bobby Lashley vs. Shelton Benjamin to kick off the Casino Gauntlet; the Young Bucks under pressure; Roddy’s conglomerability, Mox’s favorite hobby (tapping out), and Big Dad Energy; Toni & Mina stealing the show with a fresh entrance; Hangman finds his mojo once again; Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir dominating; Okada and Dorada having a weird day; and the welcome return of Red Velvet vs. the irrepressible Mercedes Moné. Plus, a plethora of promos get us pumped for the PPV.
[35:42] Ring of Honor HonorClub recap: we’re seated with popcorn for the Athena Show! Also, Trent is ready to fight children, and the Infantry and Top Flight heat up a tasty feud.
[43:35] Full Gear preview: we give our thoughts, predictions, hopes and dreams for each and every match on the card. Will any of it be correct? (Bonus: find out what really cheesed Kat off!)
We fully forgot about the Bean of the Week, but rest assured that we haven’t really been cooking this week and you haven’t missed anything.

Episode 2: Bert Doesn’t Leave Ernie - AEW BLOOD & GUTS, Dynamite/Collision, Full Gear Preview, Ring of Honor, House of Glory, and More
Épisode 2
mardi 18 novembre 2025 • Durée 01:44:17
Join us as we discuss the events of AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts (November 12) and AEW Collision (November 15) as well as Ring of Honor’s HonorClub Episode 141 (November 13)!
--
[00:40] WOMEN’S BLOOD AND GUTS! Did it live up to the hype? Is it better to go first or last? We give a (sorta) full play-by-play, share our thoughts, bop Excalibur on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper, speculate on budding and continuing storylines, crown the Death Match Princess, keep an eye on Chekhov’s Champagne, and enjoy the bittersweet pain of defeat in the name of love.
[23:10] Dynamite continued: will the Don Callis Family threaten the Young Bucks into submission? Hangman Adam Page and Powerhouse Hobbs provide a delicious, fully cowboy-sh!ttified intermission snack. FTR continue their tradition of assaulting senior citizens.
[31:53] Blood and Guts continued: now with men! We discuss the tragedy that is Wheeler Yuta, psychological horror, chains, shenanigans, alpine technique, Lorna Doones, and friendship saving the day. Did we get what we expected between the Death Riders and the Conglomeration? Plus: post-Blood and Guts promos and speculation on the women’s tag team championship!
[52:40] Collision recap and review: making the most of a weird match card with Mox on commentary! We discuss the fallout from Blood and Guts and the setup for Full Gear, including: Death Riders vs. Adam Priest, Tommy Billington, and Jay Lethal; philosopher-poet Pac; Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa plan for their next tag team matchup; Mark Briscoe vs. Mark Davis; Josh Alexander generates heat; MxM TV casting call (and call-out); Tay Melo vs. Taya Valkyrie; Death Rider candidate Toni Storm; Don Callis Family candidate Deonna Purrazzo; Scorpio Sky vs. Kyle Fletcher for the cursed TNT championship belt; fiscal responsibility; Alex Windsor & Riho vs. Hyan & Maya World; and an unholy eight-man tag.
[1:13:38] Ring of Honor HonorClub recap and review: Dalton Castle & The Outrunners in action; Spanish Announce Project vs. Don Callis Family; preview of RPG Vice vs. Boom & Doom; preview of Harley Cameron vs. Athena; Athena & Billie Starkz vs. Hyan & Maya World; The Swirl in action; MxM TV vs. SkyFlight; shaking tips; Lee Moriarty vs. Willie Mack (Pure Championship Proving Ground match)
[1:24:26] More wrestling! We hype up the women of House of Glory SuperClash (November 15): Maki Itoh vs. Shayna Baszler, Allie Katch & Priscilla Kelly vs. Shotzi Blackheart & Scarlett Bordeaux, and the main event match featuring Mercedes Moné vs. Nor “Phoenix” Diana. We also pay a quick, belated visit to DDT Pro and have a Rumble in the Chungle.
[1:34:16] Looking forward to a crazy week! Previewing Wednesday’s go-home Dynamite/Collision; anticipating a first-ever live AEW PPV experience in Jersey at Full Gear, followed by a first-ever visit to The Mecca for JCW; and abandoning self-care in favor of screaming at hot ‘possums.
[1:42:23] Bean of the Week: Marcella beans and a new mystery box from the Rancho Gordo Bean Club!

Episode 18: We Need To Talk About Kevin - AEW Double or Nothing, Dynamite, Collision
Épisode 18
lundi 1 juin 2026 • Durée 01:40:31
Join us as we talk about our experience in the audience at AEW Double or Nothing and review the fallout on AEW Dynallision (May 27) and Collision (May 30)!
[00:30] We kick things off with a little postmortem of Darby Allin’s title reign. Per usual with us and Darby, it’s complicated!
[06:02] A quick trip to the HOG Corner! House of Glory: Waging War featured Kevin Knight vs. Amazing Red, Blackheart Lio Rush in action, Shotzi Blackheart vs. Lena Kross, and a real ripper of a championship match between Charles Mason and “Sweet Cheeks” Joey Silver (which, as it turns out, is on YouTube: https://youtu.be/v-IMFMpXyTs).
[10:46] Double or Nothing from Louis Armstrong Stadium in beautiful Flushing, Queens! We were so delighted to be part of the hottest AEW crowd of all time. We talk about our experience, our emotional turbulence (KEVIN!), and our favorite moments without doing a full recap.
[44:58] Dynallision: we mostly didn’t love it, but we talk about the important bits (especially the JetSpeed drama and Stat & Shida going ham)!
[1:06:13] Collision: an absolute all-timer, with unhinged energy from start to finish, featuring the Conglomeration with Konosuke Takeshita (and Lio Rush?), the Death Riders (with toes in buttholes), and Shane Taylor Promotions all over the place! (but where’s Trish??) Also: CHUCK TAYLOR LIVES! Adam’s manifesto comes one glorious step closer to realization.
[1:33:15] What we’re looking forward to this week: the Owen, the TBS Championship Survival of the Fittest tournament, Jet vs. Speed! Also, naturally: your faithful cat update and the Bean of the Week!

Episode 17: Batman’s Birthday Party - AEW Dynamite & Collision Reaction
Épisode 17
dimanche 19 avril 2026 • Durée 01:12:48
Join us as we call a Code Bonnie Raitt with an early episode reacting to the events of AEW Dynamite (April 15) and Collision (April 16)!
[00:55] Something to talk about: Darby Allin is the new AEW Men’s World Champion! The vibes were weird, and we have some extremely reasonable and nuanced critiques. Let’s get them out of the way before we continue. We go a little off the rails on Mount Washington (like ya do) and talk rematch strategy.
[24:40] Back to the events of (a particularly yappy) Dynamite: Kenny and Will get vulnerable in medical; Tommaso Ciampa goes goblin with Dezmond Xavier; FTR does their best MxM Collection impression; Kevin Knight defends his fresh new TNT Championship vs. Claudio Castagnoli and scares us again on the mic; Jericho gets his ass beat and files a trademark; Takeshita is soooooo sorry!; Ospreay and Hechicero have a rogue vs. sorcerer battle (with bonus neuro check); Thekla hangs out with some very sleepy children; Mox takes the light with the dark; Willow defends her TBS Championship; and Shida & Stat stir some shit.
[44:45] Moving on to Collision: Cope and his shiner are interrupted; Jack Perry is ready to defend the National Championship; the Bucks and the Rascalz fill our flippy-shit quota; the Dogs bark; the Divine Dominion take over the Parthenon; the Conglomeration take off their backpacks and take on the Lethal Twist (with a little Ring of Honor chat); Bowens and Hook get weird; Shida & Stat in action (hi, Big Anne!); Mox and Nick Wayne entertain; Okada and Takeshita make it official; Blackheart Lio Rush and PAC (with Danny Garcia) give us jump-scares, an exorcism attempt, and more fun than we’ve ever had in our lives; a new push for Bandido?!; Brody King, Místico and Máscara Dorada squash some locals; Mina tries to warn Stat (and the audience) about Shida; and Thekla and Windzaaa have a ripper (and break out the brass knucks) for the Women’s World Championship.
[1:04:50] Odds and ends: A plethora of weekend events, including Effy’s Big Gay Brunch and Palms Slam Fest! Forbidden Door announced (sorry, TNA)! AEW Redemption? Lucha masks! Cats! Giardia!

Episode 8: Crashouts and Glowups - AEW Worlds End, Dynamite/Collision, Ring of Honor
Épisode 8
mardi 6 janvier 2026 • Durée 01:56:48
Join us as we ring in 2026 with a discussion of AEW Worlds End (December 27), New Years Smash (December 31), and Collision (January 3) as well as Ring of Honor’s YouTube special episode (December 30) and HonorClub #148 (January 1).
[00:58] Worlds End: How do we think it compared to other recent AEW PPVs?
[02:21] Zero Hour matches and ensuing storylines: Sisters of Sin vs. the All Elite Hyan & Maya World, Eddie Kingston clashes with the Grizzled Young Vets, El Clon leaps from the dark web, Luchasaurus gets barricaded… and who put that bounty on JetSpeed’s heads?!
[15:38] C2 Semifinals! The hot and spicy drama continues with Okada vs. Takeshita and Moxley vs. Fletcher.
[24:51] AEW Men’s and Women’s Tag Team Championship matches and the state of the tag title scene, featuring the Little Table That Could! Where the hell was Ace Austin? Mercedes and Athena are no match for the Babes of Wrath, probably because they’re not in matching gear!
[35:24] Death Rider Derangement! Gabe Kidd vs. Darby Allin did about what we expected, but Mixed Nuts Mayhem fulfilled all our hopes and dreams. Plus, Mixed Nuts Redux from Dynamite, a preview of Toni Storm vs. Marina Shafir, throuple trouble brewing courtesy of Citrus Boy, and who truly strikes fear in the heart of Claudio Castagnoli.
[50:50] The Mercedes Moné crashout continues, culminating in the main event of 2025 and a NEW TBS Champion, Willow Nightingale!
[54:47] Women’s World Championship: Kris Statlander vs. Jamie Hayter knocked our blocks off. What’s next for the women’s singles division?
[58:45] C2 Final: Mox vs. Okada in a first-time singles matchup! Shock and awe (and our smug, know-it-all nonsense)! What does this mean for Mox and the Death Riders? How about the Don Callis Family?
[1:11:53] Men’s World Championship: MJF grabs the gold and begins a new reign. We have some opinions about how that came to pass and what might happen next! We talk Kenny Omega, Hangman and Swerve, Bandido and Brody, hot potatoes, and playful predictions for practically all our top guys.
[1:39:51] Ring of Honor chat: More Hammerstein hijinks, featuring tons of local talent and Charles Mason’s bitey ROH singles debut! (and the crowd goes wild!) The Grinch (MxM TV) is righteously vanquished to cap off the holiday season.
[1:51:45] Looking forward: the importance of composting! We start dipping our toes into NJPW for the first time! Also: who has two thumbs and is semi-impulsively going to Revolution?! (this guy)

Episode 7: You Good? - AEW Dynamite on 34th St, Christmas Collision, Worlds End Preview
Épisode 7
samedi 27 décembre 2025 • Durée 01:27:26
Join us as we finally get to exhale and spill all the tea about this week’s AEW shows from the Hammerstein Ballroom (December 24 & 25). We talk crowd vibes, secret edits, and all the fun things that didn’t make it to the broadcast. We also touch on what to look forward to in Ring of Honor’s Boxing Day Brawl (December 26), and give our thoughts and predictions for AEW Worlds End (December 27).
[0:51] The vibes at the Hammerstein! How did our experience compare to our recent trips to the 2300 Arena and Full Gear?
[2:54] Dynamite on 34th St: We go through the C2 matches (Orange Cassidy vs. Konosuke Takeshita, Roddy Strong vs. Máscara Dorada, Pac vs. Jack Perry), MJF’s squash match followed by Hangman and Swerve’s epic clapback, Mina Shirakawa vs. Marina Shafir (or: Minarina Shafirakawa), and the Dynamite Diamond Ring final (Ricochet vs. Bandido). Chaos in the Gold League! Also: did we boo Stoke so hard they cut his promo? Is Kenny Omega finally going to make an honest man of Kota Ibushi?! Was that Charles Mason getting decked by Hangman?!?!?
[33:45] Christmas Collision: Chock full of high-stakes C2 action! Six matches (Jack Perry vs. Kyle Fletcher in a battle of nasty boys, Konosuke Takeshita vs. Máscara Dorada, Roddy Strong vs. Claudio Castagnoli, Pac vs. Kevin Knight, Orange Cassidy vs. Jon Moxley, and Speedball Mike Bailey vs. Kazuchika Okada) determine the final matches for Worlds End. We also get the Babes of Wrath vs. Hyan & Maya World, Mark Briscoe’s trademark chivalry, Gabe Kidd in goblin mode, and a secret botch!
[57:16] Ring of Honor chat: No spoilers, but we talk a little bit about what to look forward to in the Boxing Day Brawl and thank Tony Khan for booking a ton of local NYC-area talent for the Hammerstein.
[1:00:00] Worlds End preview! We toss out our apostrophe key and dive into the drama. Will the Mixed Nuts actually produce Mayhem? Can we stop meta-booking FTR already?! Will Samoa Joe retain the Men’s World Championship? Will Jamie Hayter prevail and whip the Women’s World Championship off Kris Statlander? Most importantly, we have some very spicy takes on the C2 (semi-)finals and where all the storylines might go from here.
