The overwhelm of the political moment is enough to stop even the most seasoned of movers & shakers in our tracks.

But when I sit at my altar and pray for guidance, I hear the same thing over and over again:

It is time for the witches to be precisely on purpose.

I see images—not just of my students and clients, but of my friends, mentors, colleagues, family members & ancestors—all at a crossroads.

Do we continue moving in reactivity to the systemic blows?

Or do we move as creative visionaries, aligned with the more beautiful world that lives just below the surface of these systems?

We cannot afford to wait for permission to lead. We cannot afford to let despair hijack our power. And frankly, we cannot afford to be broke, without the resources we need to fund our visions, however big or small.

Now is the time for focused, strategic, visionary action. Now is the time to center what we’re here to build—along with what we’re here to resist.

And that’s why playing small in our businesses won’t cut it anymore.

Because honestly:

The systems we were taught to survive within were never built for us to thrive.

But we are bigger than these systems. And it's time for us to think bigger about our businesses, too.

About what they can service, fund, alter and rearrange on our beautiful, heartbreaking, glorious planet.
