| #199: How To Step Into Your Feminine Leadership Era with Lisa Malia Norman | 10 mars 2026 | 00:52:32 | |
What if there were a way to lead with more sustainability and fulfillment (and leave the burnout behind)? My guest for this episode, Lisa Malia Norman, explains how Feminine Leadership is rooted in intuition, intentionality, and authenticity. Instead of pushing through burnout or following traditional, patriarchal models of success, feminine leadership invites us to trust our inner wisdom and create regenerative outcomes that sustain us, rather than deplete us. Lisa shares how her journey in corporate and as a breast cancer survivor lead her to founding supportive communities and leadership programs for women. We discuss how creating intentional community spaces for and with women—like women’s circles and masterminds—allows women to shed old expectations, be seen authentically, and step into new leadership roles that are aligned with their values and desires. The episode is filled with actionable insights on bringing more joy, clarity, and purpose into your life and work, simply by leading in a way that honors your whole self. If you’re ready to move beyond hustle culture and explore a leadership style that’s more compassionate, cyclical, and community-focused, this conversation will inspire you to tap into your innate power and begin leading from a more regenerative place. | #198: How To Start Using Pinterest to Build Your Business | 03 mars 2026 | 00:25:44
If you're building a business that is rooted in intuition, soul and strategy - then in this episode, I'll be sharing an intuitive way to plan your brand using Pinterest—no social media overwhelm required. We'll learn why Pinterest is a unique tool for inspiration and organic growth, and that it actually works more like a search engine than a traditional social platform - the so-called Pinterest "algorithm" in 2026 is driven by intent. Meaning, they are valuing pins that leverage phrases that mirror what someone might actually be searching for, and the more specific and niche the better! This is also especially good news if you're planning on using Pinterest to share your podcast. Of course, we're starting with some reflective journaling, so you can gain clarity, collect resources, and shape your business vision in a way that truly feels good to you. Whether you're dreaming up a new idea or refreshing your current brand, get ready for actionable tips, personal insights, and permission to explore, play, and trust your process. | #197: Podcasting For Authors: How to Create A Platform with Podcasting with Laura Cathcart Robbins | 24 févr. 2026 | 00:59:13
If you're an author or an aspiring author - developing an engaged community around your work has become a necessary asset whether you're self-publishing or pitching major publishers. My former podcast production agency client, Laura Cathcart Robbins, peels back the curtain on how we leveraged podcasting not just as a creative outlet, but as an intentional launching pad for her writing career and public platform. After Laura received the hard truth from an agent that "no one knows who you are" and that memoir is the hardest genre to publish without visibility, Laura Cathcart Robbins embraced podcasting as part of her author journey. With myself (Christina Barsi) as her executive producer and strategist, we created "The Only One in the Room" podcast to build credibility, create an engaged audience, develop her personal brand platform as an author and support her memoir-writing-style weekly in how we crafted the podcast's format and feel. The Only One In The Room became a top 1% podcast globally with millions of downloads and Laura Cathcart Robbins not only got a book deal with her favorite publisher - she became a best-seller with her memoir "Stash". If you’re curious about how launching a show can become the springboard for bringing your book-writing dreams to life - this one's for you. In this episode, you’ll learn:

Creating and achieving small, purposeful goals—rather than rigid benchmarks set by others—can transform your mindset, boost your confidence, and help you build a podcast (and life) you truly love. You’ll learn the powerful difference between outside expectations and goal-setting rooted in your “why,” discover actionable steps to start your own podcast adventure, and get inspired to celebrate every bit of progress along your path. | #183: The Secret To Starting Over | 18 nov. 2025 | 00:12:09
Whether you’re in the midst of a major life transition or considering a fresh start - I want to remind you that the messy middle that comes along with this kind of shift, requires a lot of self-kindness. One great way to begin to invite in more kindness with yourself is to be curious. To allow for questions like "what if" to exist and begin to lead the way. I talk about taking bold action in this episode - but I want to think of this as "curious & creative action". What answers are coming up when you ask yourself "what if?" Then what is one small action you can take to follow that curiosity that feels fun and creative? I share with you the time in my life where I was discovering this for the first time and how my "what if" turned into the discovery of new interests and the exploration of developing characters and a story for these characters to come to life within. I got curious and then I took action by getting creative in ways that were new to me. That led to new possibilities that would have not presented themselves if I wasn't already on this path of permission. I truly believe that possibility follows permission. Before I knew it - my life was evolving and a new chapter was emerging. What comes up when you ask "what if"? Then what is a bold action or in other words a "new curious and creative action" that you might take to explore your "what if"? In this episode, you’ll learn:

Where in your life can you give yourself more permission and space to have fun? To be creative, to have a passion project just for you? Or to express something you love with the world? Today, I am joined by Jeff Large, founder of Come Alive Creative, a branded podcast production agency, much like mine. We explore how Jeff discovered the importance of connecting with nature—not just for his own well-being, but as a catalyst for creativity and personal growth. Jeff shares about his journey launching his passion project "Outdoor Sounds," a unique podcast featuring immersive nature recordings, born from his love of nature and exploring the wild paired with his other passion - audio capture. After seemingly doing everything "right" to grow his business as a founder, Jeff found himself feeling more disconnected from the part of the business that was fulfilling - the creativity! We explore the possibility of burnout presenting as a lack of fulfillment and how a creative and passionate project can restore our internal balance, well-being and lead to more successes both in business and personally. Whether you’re navigating your own entrepreneurial path, searching for ways to feel more fulfillment, or simply intrigued by the intersection of well-being, nature, and creativity and it's influence on our success -this episode is your invitation to tune in, and reconnect with what lights you up. What if healing from overwhelm, overthinking or burnout...could be as simple as spending time with Nature? In this enlivening episode, I sit down with Penni Cox, from South Africa, who is a psychologist, TEDx speaker, and founder of Alive Eco-Journeys. Penni shares her inspiring story of personal and professional transformation—moving from years of international humanitarian work and mental health counseling, through a challenging period of burnout in New York, to a profound healing journey rooted in nature. You’ll hear why Penni believes nature is the “better therapist,” how simple acts like being barefoot on the earth or nurturing a houseplant can foster a sense of belonging, and what science reveals about the restorative power of the outdoors. Whether you’re navigating burnout, seeking more balance, or simply longing for more joy and connection, this conversation will invite you to rediscover your "ecological self" or your "wild self"—and gently remind you that awe and aliveness might be closer than you think. | #170: How To Move Forward With Grief with CARA | Singer, Songwriter, Producer | 19 août 2025 | 00:31:53
What if grief isn't something you heal from? But rather, something you must learn to move forward with. In today’s powerful episode, I sit down with singer, songwriter, and producer CARA for an incredibly raw and honest conversation about art, grief, and transformation. CARA opens up about her journey through personal tragedy, including the devastating loss of her brother and mother, and how she channeled her grief into the music for her upcoming autobiographical album, The Kronicles. This album features chapters from every corner of CARA’s life—including her time in the cannabis industry and her friendship with the late Gangsta Boo of Three 6 Mafia, whose voice is featured IN the album in the song CARA KUSH, produced by CARA. We have an exploratory, raw and honest conversation about how creativity can be both an anchor and an outlet in times of pain, why “healing” from grief can be a misleading idea, and the importance of finding ways—big or small—to process emotions and keep moving forward. Whether you’re a creative, seeking ways to cope with loss, or just need a dose of authentic inspiration, my talk with CARA is heartfelt and embedded in realness. We hope it also serves as a reminder that you are not alone. Listen in for one of the most candid conversations ever shared on the Boss Goddess Podcast. In this episode, you’ll learn:

What if building and growing a business could actually fill your energetic cup rather than...be the thing that drains you daily? While today’s business world is saturated with formulas, blueprints, and conflicting advice—especially when it comes to marketing and revenue—I dive deep with Jason into what truly holds most entrepreneurs back. | #166: Intention Setting Meditation with Christina Barsi | 22 juil. 2025 | 00:09:56
Reflect and reset with me! Tomorrow is my birthday. So I thought I would offer you a moment of stillness and intention. I feel like birthdays are a personal new year of sorts. They can be an opportunity to reflect and to reset. So today, as my reflection, I am re-sharing a meditative episode I released back in May of 2023 called Pause with Me & Set An Intention. My reset this year is to continue this process of "untangling" that I’ve been on for most of this year so far, and also to invite in the possibility of letting go of embodying other people’s energy and all that comes with that. Their goals, their aspirations, their blocks - all of the things that, as an empath, and introvert and intuitive - I easily tap into. But to instead, allow it to be their journey and allow myself to offer support without taking it on. The people-pleaser and perfectionist in me has to be very intentional when it comes to this and I’m starting to get better at placing myself at a higher position in my value system. Because I know that when I can do this - everyone I serve will also benefit. My other intention for this year is more peace. To me, peace, in this moment, represents security, confidence, trust, freedom, rest, flow, ease, love and moments for stillness. I invite you to set an intention with me as I walk into my next year in this life. Enjoy. | #165: Why Podcasting Is The Gateway to Your Dream Business with Alex Sanfilippo | Founder of Podmatch | 15 juil. 2025 | 01:00:28
If you’re curious in how podcasting as a medium can be the container that awakens you, evolves you, creates deep connection and resonance, can be the place you explore your passion or solve your most pressing problems, or unfold the business you’ve been dreaming of or connect with the minds that have gone before you - then keep listening. My guest today, Alex Sanfilippo, shares his journey like never before. These questions led us down a path of depth, divinity and raw honesty in ways that I wasn’t expecting. The way this conversation took shape is a testament to the reason this medium feels sacred to me. It’s not just a transactional moment that flies past you in seconds that you have to re-create constantly in the way that content does (ahem...social media). It’s not just content. It's connection. And it has the ability to change lives. Alex Sanfilippo is a podcast host and the founder of a podcasting software company specifically focused on independent podcast hosts and their guests to elevate their voices through podcasting and be heard - called PodMatch. In addition, Alex is also the host of the top-rated podcast, Podcasting Made Simple, and is one of the most sought-after educators and public speakers in the podcasting industry. Do you feel like there is more you have to share than you've been putting out there? It was at the age of 30 that I started to come into my own awareness around this and began the long and deep journey of untangling it. Of coming back into my own essence and seeking ways to express it. To meet myself in my purpose and create the life I really want to live - which can only happen when we come home to ourselves. And when we can step into flow, it opens up all the possibilities. The world is a hustled place - but we can choose another way to create our abundance and do business and bring back the lightness and joy that I know is possible. So let’s dive in. In today’s episode, we’re exploring how to connect with what lights you up—and how to begin weaving that into the way you work, lead, and live. Whether you’ve outgrown your current path, feel scattered in your interests, or are wondering if your creativity could become something “real,” this conversation is your guide. | #162: How To Make Intuition-Led Business Decisions with Makuyo of SIIKA Herb + Honey Co. | 24 juin 2025 | 00:38:44
What if your Intuition was leading down a path of what to say "yes" to? What to create next? And what if you could actually build a BUSINESS from that place of knowing? If you’ve been tuning into the newer season of Boss Goddess, then you may have noticed an emphasis on leveraging Intuition when it comes to business. When we can tap into that truth that we already have within us - that can guide us in our decision making and can inform us on what feels best for US to pursue on a big level and also with smaller decisions that we encounter through out the day - we gain access to a powerful way to navigate our lives. My guest today, has done just that. She has created a beautiful business infused with this message to honor yourself in your truth, as you are, in all of your being. Which is to no surprise because once you hear her story in how this business was brought to life, and how it unfolded, you’ll see how organic creating something from that intuitive connection can be. Her name is Makuyo, and her brand is called SIIKA Herb + Honey Co. where she primarily creates herbal-infused honeys. She shares that the vision for SIIKA Herb + Honey Co. was given to her while in Ghana in December 2021. Makuyo envisioned her brand to be able to merge the seemingly divergent domains of the feminine spirit and luxury—revealing their shared depth and richness. Desiring to harmonize her own professional and personal passions, she created a brand encompassing her journey as a businesswoman with her experiences in holistic health, herbalism and yoga. Makuyo shares that "she believes that in a world of influence and imitation, women can be both goddesses and go-getters, building their lives and careers on their own terms". The brand’s mission is to unite holistic health and feminine sensuality with self care. The carefully curated infusions in every SIIKA Herb + Honey Co. product are created to nourish and nurture the body, mind, and spirit. If you’re wondering how to make more space for your own intuition to speak a little louder and guide you a little more often towards decisions that are in alignment with WHO you are in both business and in life, Makuyo shares how she cultivated her practice of intuitive connection and self-awareness and how it led to guiding her to creating her brand SIIKA Honey + Herb Co. Be sure to listen all the way to end for some guidance from Makuyo on how YOU can get started with your own intuitive practice or deepen or reconnect with the one you already have. | #160: How to Get Over your Paralysis Analysis & Take Inspired Action | 10 juin 2025 | 00:27:05
Does a dream or passion you have feel out of reach? What if the key to shortening the path was to first, allow ANY step to be taken that feels good to you and second, open up to the idea of it taking an unexpected form. In this episode I share with you how this played out in MY life and how I allowed for the space to start thinking differently. It was scary. I was reluctant. And quite honestly, it was NOT what I wanted to do. But if I didn't - I would have missed out on so much magic. (p.s. this is how podcasting came into my life and my dreams started to come true - as corny as that sounds, it's true!) If you are feeling stuck in analysis paralysis—overthinking every move, doubting whether you’re ready, and holding yourself back from taking action, you are not alone. And more importantly, you are actually in a place of growth - a moment of evolution. This is a GOOD THING! For years, I waited for permission, obsessed over “doing it right,” and compared myself to everyone else—which only kept me feeling powerless and paralyzed. Everything changed for me when I started taking messy, inspired action—trusting my creativity, using my voice, and showing up for what truly lights me up. Podcasting became my way out of overthinking and into purposeful doing, which I share with you in my story of how I came to create my science fiction noir audio drama podcast called DIMENSION. I want to inspire you to do the same. Stop waiting for perfect conditions, stop over-analyzing every step, and start moving, even if it feels a little scary or uncertain. When you act from your passion, you create momentum, confidence, and real results. Let yourself experiment. Trust that imperfect action is better than standing still. Trust that your vision for yourself - your passion - is there for a reason and WORTH pursuing. This episode is your sign to break free from analysis paralysis and finally take the inspired action your dreams deserve. Let’s step into our power and create something amazing—starting today! In this episode you will learn:
