It's a new Beacon Bites podcast from the Gorebridge Beacon - only 9 months after the last one!!! This time, we're hearing from the wonderful tutors who will be delivering the next phase of the 'Our Place' creative programme. Our Place aims to make the arts more accessible to our local community; since February this year, we've offered free courses in art, photography, poetry, stand-up comedy, and more. And this Autumn sees our most ambitious programme yet. Starting on October 3rd, you can learn how to make a 'mockumentary' film, write and perform drama and/or poetry, make people laugh with your comedy skills and help create a book of artworks inspired by local poets. All the classes culminate with our Christmas Cabaret shows in December, when you'll have the opportunity to perform and exhibit your work.
