Here, he distributes them to fellow people with AIDS by establishing the “Dallas Buyers Club”, all the while facing opposition from the FDA. The film stars Matthew McConaughey, Jared Leto, and Jennifer Garner. In addition to the 10 year anniversary of this acclaimed film, the team also breaks down trailers for Anyone But You, Madame Web, and Imaginary, while also discussing the news about a new Bourne being the works from director Edward Berger and Nicholas Hoult being cast as Lex Luthor in Superman: Legacy. The older brother (Norton) serves three years in prison for voluntary manslaughter, is rehabilitated during this time, and then tries to prevent his brother (Furlong) from being idocrinated further. The supporting cast includes Fairuza Balk, Stacy Keach, Elliott Gould, Avery Brooks, Ethan Suplee and Beverly D’Angelo.

In the film, a young woman finds her tranquil life with her husband at their country home is disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious couple. In the other corner is Jackson, who didn’t care for the 2019 film, Us. Directed and written by Jordan Peele, the film stars Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss, Shahadi Wright Joseph, and Evan Alex. In the film, a woman and her family are attacked by a group of menacing doppelgängers. Will their minds change all these years later on their respective films? Before finding out, the duo covers a bit of news, most notably the ongoing issues with Marvel and their respective movies and TV shows.

Gaius and Jackson look back at one of cinema’s greatest grudge matches between two horror movie icons in Freddy vs. Jason for the film’s 20th anniversary. Directed by Ronny Yu and written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, the film is a crossover between the A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th franchises and it puts their respective antagonists, Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees, against each other. Freddy has become weakened and forgotten because the citizens of his home town Springwood have defeated him by using medications to repress dreams. Freddy awakens Jason to stir up fear and grow his powers so that he may return and kill again but Jason turns out to not be easily controlled as Freddy initially thought and the two supernatural mass murderers come into a major conflict. Directed by Gore Verbinski, the film stars Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Orlando Bloom, and Keira Knightley, and it’s based on the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Disney theme parks. The film follows pirate Captain Jack Sparrow and blacksmith Will Turner as they rescue kidnapped Elizabeth Swann from the crew of the Black Pearl, captained by Hector Barbossa. Barbossa’s crew attempts to retrieve the final pieces of a hoard of Aztec gold to break the curse laid on them when they stole it. The pair looks back on how the industry thought the film was destined to flop since swashbuckling pirate films weren’t huge at the box office and it didn’t feature big stars. The duo also looks into how the film changed the trajectory of Johnny Depp’s career, turning him from cult movie actor to mainstream movie star, the film’s eventual huge box office success, and its legacy as it stands today.

Starring Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Morgan Freeman, the movie has been assessed as one of the greatest superhero films ever made and became the new blueprint for many moder superhero films because it rejected the typical comic-book movie style in favor of a crime film that features comic-book characters.
