Selhurst Park roared as Palace stunned Liverpool 2-1 in a thriller. Sarr’s opener gave the Eagles belief, and though Chiesa levelled for the visitors on 87 minutes, Palace refused to fold. Deep into stoppage time, Nketiah smashed home the winner, sending the Holmesdale into delirium. Palace showed grit, heart and sheer refusal to settle. Beating Liverpool at the death wasn’t luck — it was character, and it proves this team belongs on the big stage.
