A movie from this century? On this podcast? Well, it feels like it's from 1985, if it helps. Malignant was sold as a giallo when it's really the most expensive direct to video movie ever made. I kind of love that someone gave James Wan $40 million to make the kind of movie that cost a few hundred thousand in the VHS days.
