Awaken and Align is a podcast hosted by Laura Chung that features healers, artists, mystics, astrologers, and activists who are here for collective liberation. Our intention is to share stories that center people of the global majority and spiritual wisdom to incite change. Laura Chung is a Reiki master, astrologer, and author of How To Manifest published by Union Square & Co. She has her Masters of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She is an activist and trauma-informed healer who uses her various media platforms to share spiritual wisdom and decolonial education toward collective healing and liberation. She co-hosts an astrology show, The Millennial Mystics. As a multi-disciplinary healer, Laura helps people to transcend their past and transform their current situations; breaking generational cycles and harmful patterns. Her intention is to help people manifest the life of their dreams. Hello beautiful souls and thank you for being here. I am a Western tropical astrologer and I use the whole sign house system. I use astrology as a liberatory tool. I believe we are in a critical time right now when collectively, we feel a sense of urgency to know who we are and align with our purpose. I hope to be your monthly guide to the cosmos and translator of the stars. We begin this episode by recapping August. It was a demure August, mercury was retrograde, the DNC began on the Full Moon in Aquarius, and the Leo placements were having a rough time. We then do a little forecasting for the month of September which continues with Virgo Season. We have two planets in dignity, Venus in Libra and Mercury in Virgo. I would take advantage of that until the last week of September. Mid-month, we officially find ourselves in eclipse season and when the sun ingresses in the sign of Libra, it's the Equinox! Saturn and all of the outer planets are retrograde, meaning that collectively, we are all going through a massive shift. Happy solar return to the Virgos and Libras!

Hello beautiful souls and thank you for being here. I am a Western tropical astrologer and I use the whole sign house system. I use astrology as a liberatory tool. I believe we are in a critical time right now when collectively, we feel a sense of urgency to know who we are and be in alignment with our purpose. I hope to be your monthly guide to the cosmos and translator of the stars. We begin this episode by recapping July, Trump assassination attempt! Joe Biden steps down and Kamala Harris is on the ticket! We then do a little forecasting for the month of August which continues with Leo Season. Mercury stations retrograde in the signs of Virgo & Leo and Virgo Season commences. I’m not going to lie, August is full of challenging aspects like the squares and oppositions but I believe challenging aspects are when our souls thrive because ultimately, our souls want to grow. With all of the planets in retrograde, we’re being asked to take a pause, reflect, and integrate everything that we’ve learned so far. Happy solar return to the Leo and Virgo babies!

Episode 211: Pluto in Aquarius - The Age of Revolution

In this episode, I talk about the transition from Pluto in the sign of Capricorn into the sign of Aquarius. Astrology is the study of cycles and patterns, so the best way for us to predict what might happen when Pluto is in the sign of Aquarius is to look back at what happened the last time in our history when Pluto was in Aquarius. This time was known as the Age of Revolution because concurrent revolutions were happening all over the world. Some of the same themes are appearing today as Pluto moved into Aquarius on January 20th of this year. Show Notes:
