Herzlich Willkommen an Bord. Unser erster Teil der Reise hat in Portland, Oregon geendet. Heute nehmen euch Isi, Julia und Clara mit auf ihre Reise durch den Südwesten der USA. Sie haben die Western Sun Tour von Au Pair Adventures gemeinsam gemacht und berichten heute davon. Die Reise führt uns von San Francisco aus durch den Yosemite National Park an den Lake Tenaya, die Whitmore hot springs und nach Groveland. Weiter geht es dann über das Death Valley nach Nevada, um genauer zu sein nach Las Vegas. Kurz nach Vegas steht dann das Highlight der Reise an, der Grand Canyon der uns wirklich alle sehr begeistert hat. Leider müssen wir den Grand Canyon nach einer Nacht schon wieder verlassen und reisen über Seligman zum Lake Havasu, wo wir die Nacht ohne Zelt im Freien verbringen. Den Abschluss findet die Tour dann in LA, wo wir auf eigene Faust noch ein paar Tage verbringen, bevor wir unser letztes Ziel, San Diego ansteuern. Steigt mit Zenia und Clara ins Flugzeug auf dem Weg von New Jersey nach New Orleans, Louisiana. Hier hat für die beiden ihr gemeinsamer Reisemonat begonnen. In unserer Reisemonats-Serie werden wir euch unsere Planung, Vorbereitung, aber auch die Kosten, Reisen, Vor- und Nachteile eines Reisemonats genau beschreiben. Heute geht es los mit Clara und Zenia, die als erstes der Au Pair Coffee Mädels in ihren Reisemonat gestartet sind. Von New Orleans ging es dann weiter nach Seattle, Washington (wo es besonders Clara sehr gut gefallen hat) und anschließend noch nach Portland, Oregon (was sich eher als Reinfall herausgestellt hat).
