BMG recording artist/singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist A.J. Croce's new 11-track album, "Heart of the Eternal," will be released on March 7. William Franklin Guest was an original member of the iconic, soulful, multi-Grammy-winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group, Gladys Knight & the Pips. He was there when the group formed out of friendships and family, playing in churches back in 1952. He was with them for nearly four decades, known as the best dancer of the group, on stage performing hits like Midnight Train To Georgia, I've Got to Use My Imagination, Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me, and I Heard It Through the Grapevine. Michael and his wife Tanya make up the band, The War and Treaty, a Country-Gospel group. They’ve made it their mission on and off the stage to be healthy. Michael said it wasn’t until he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes that he got serious about taking care of his health. These days, he not only eats fish, fruits and vegetables but watches the amount of salty foods and sweet treats he eats. As a child, Michael saw his father and several of his relatives struggle with diabetes. Some of his aunts and uncles lost limbs to the disease and died from it. Tanya his wife is not only Michael’s bandmate but also his partner in healthy eating. She was diagnosed with high blood pressure. Tanya’s mother died from high blood pressure-related complications. The singer-songwriters are currently traveling around promoting their new album, “Plus One.” They said it’s not always easy to eat healthy meals when they are on tour, but they shop at grocery stores whenever they can.
