Connie has to make a last minute presentation at school on the themes of Shakespeare’s magical and mischievous play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and she has no idea where to start! Luckily, her Uncle Chris and the community theatre company are experts on Shakespeare, so they decide to go on an Armchair Adventure into the world of the play to find out more. 🎭 There, they’re met by characters from the play, including Puck and their fairy friends🧚 🧚including King and Queen of the fairies, Oberon and Titania. The adventurers find much mischief and mayhem as the fairies’ magic turns the world of A Midsummer Night’s Dream upside down – a man has even had his head turned into a donkey’s! 🪄🫏 But will they find everything that Connie needs in time for her to make her presentation? And will Shakespeare’s play have a happy ending, or will everything remain topsy-turvy? Connie’s decorating the art party at school and our lovely customer Pauline is looking for some creative inspiration! Seeing that Connie’s ordering a lot of single-use plastic for the event, Pauline takes them on an Armchair Adventure to Plastic Shed to learn more about plastic waste while they get a bit arty! ♻️🎨 “There is this amazing arts organisation called Plastic Shed I’d like to visit. It’s run by an artist called Caitlin, and shemakes art using recycled plastic.” When they arrive, they see a beautiful mural showing what plastic waste does to the environment- there’s a sea turtle trapped in plastic, a polar bear on melting ice, and a hermit crab having to use a traffic cone as a shell!🐢🐻❄️🐚 Caitlin left us a note saying it was set to be dismantled, so while we waited to meet her, the gang decided to go on an adventure inside the mural and meet the animals and hear their stories! The only problem is, Caitlin came back early...and started taking apart the Mural with everyone still inside! 😬 Will they get to meet all the animals before it's too late? Will Connie and her customers end up taken apart too!!
