I start the show talking about the Patreon Game from last night and Mal Embarkment or Dis-embarkment syndrome. I literally left after recording the intro to pick Elle up from the airport. She joined me for "Table Talk" where we discuss the Sahara closing their poker room, and a study by BetMGM about online casino games. It looks like we may be making a trip next year to the Irish Poker Open, and we talked about what may be my new playground with Bally's building a hotel/casino connected to the new A's stadium in Vegas. ***Disclaimer*** I said I was going to root for the Yankees in the World Series, but actually I think I'm just going to root for the whole series end in a tie somehow. This week's "Call the Floor" involves a high hand promotion and whether the winner of the high hand actually made the call or not. I have been trying to get this week's episode out to you, but for some reason it is not cooperating. I have a ticket open with Blubrry, but it is Labor Day weekend so we will just hope that it is fixed in a timely manner. Until then... I'll see you at the tables.

JAN. 7 POKERCAST RECAP: The Global Poker Awards are returning; PokerShares is shutting down; Doug Polk is a poker club owner and Alex Jacob does a good deed. We also have a new O'Mally's Move and Vincent Ferrigno has the Hand of the Week. It's a Big O hand!

DEC. 31 POKERCAST RECAP: Chris plays poker again! Also, Johnny Chan's club in Houston has a new owner, and poker giants Harry Reid and Henry Orenstein died this past week. We complete an O'Mally's Move and Vic G. has the Hand of the Week with Q-Q.

DEC. 17 POKERCAST RECAP: We take a look at an Ashley Adams column that helps players stay focused on what's important; Sammy Farha gets into a fight at a Houston poker club, and the Poker Paint guy is back into more controversy. We also have a new O'Mally's Move, a Call the Floor and Vic G. has the Hand of the Week with A-4. Also, just a heads-up, there will be no show next week. We will return with the Dec. 31 episode.
