10. Marketing Without Social Media: Why I’m Stepping Back (and What I’m Doing Instead)05 Feb 202600:21:51

A lot of the most effective marketing doesn’t look like marketing at all.

It isn’t loud.It isn’t constant.
And most of the time, it isn’t happening on social media.

In this episode, I’m talking about the kinds of marketing that fly under the radar - the work that doesn’t show up in your feed, but quietly builds trust, authority, and momentum over time.

We’ll explore:

  • Why social media is just one distribution channel, not the whole strategy

  • How things like speaking, podcasting, networking, referrals, and collaborations do the heavy lifting behind the scenes

  • Why owned platforms (your website, email list, and long-form content) matter more than ever

  • The power of local marketing and relationship-based growth

  • And how to stop measuring your success by what’s visible online

This episode is for the business owner who’s doing meaningful work; even if it doesn’t look flashy or “content-y” from the outside.

If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re doing enough because you’re not constantly posting…
This is your permission slip to trust the kind of marketing that doesn’t need to perform to be effective.

Quiet doesn’t mean ineffective.
Sometimes it means strategic.

🎧 Press play.

We explore:

  • why values-based business matters more than ever

  • the difference between aligned pivots and performative rebrands

8. Web Design for Realtors: Branding That Doesn’t Blend In (And Why It Matters More Than Ever)22 Jan 202600:13:37

Web design for Realtors isn’t about looking polished — it’s about being memorable.

In this episode of Analog Girls, Digital World, Meg Pearson kicks off a new industry-specific series with a deep dive into web design for Realtors, personal branding, and visibility in an increasingly saturated market.

If you’re a real estate agent doing “everything right”; posting on Instagram, sharing listings, using a brokerage website - but still feeling invisible online, this episode breaks down why that might be happening and what actually works instead.

This conversation goes beyond trends and templates. It explores how Realtors can build a recognizable personal brand, use Instagram intentionally, and create a digital presence that builds trust before a buyer or seller ever reaches out.

This is not about becoming Instagram famous. It’s about creating a brand and website that support long-term business growth.

In This Episode, We Cover:

  • Web design for Realtors: why most agent websites fail

  • The difference between brokerage branding and your personal brand

  • Why cookie-cutter Realtor brands blend in online

  • Instagram tips for real estate agents that build trust (not spam)

  • How buyers and sellers actually choose agents online

  • How to position yourself as a lifestyle brand in your niche

  • A Realtor-specific website template designed to convert

6. How Being a Television Director Trained Me to Deliver Top Rated Web Design in a Day08 Jan 202600:12:40

What does directing live television have to do with building a website in a day?

More than you’d think.

In this episode, I break down how my background as a live TV director trained me to deliver top rated web design under pressure; long before I ever touched a CMS platform. From making fast decisions with zero margin for error to managing complex systems and leading with confidence, the skills required to run a live broadcast are the same ones that allow me to design strategic, conversion-ready websites in a single day.

We’ll talk about why you don’t actually need a top web design firm to get a high-quality website, how leadership and systems matter more than templates, and why ethical, clarity-driven design outperforms manipulative marketing every time.

If you’re a service provider who wants a website that works; without the chaos, tech overwhelm, or fear-based tactics - this episode will change how you think about web design altogether.

3. Why Your Marketing Strategy Isn’t Working (Even When You Hire a Digital Marketing Consultant)18 Dec 202500:11:56

What is up my rebel nerds? In this episode of Analog Girls, Digital World, we’re breaking down why your digital marketing strategy isn’t working; even when you hire a digital marketing consultant to help you.

Spoiler: it’s not your website, your funnel, or your offer. It’s the inconsistent behavior that sneaks in when fear, comparison, and outside opinions take the wheel.

I’m sharing real-talk insights from my 12+ years in online business - from directing live TV to building multiple wellness brands, running retreats in Costa Rica, and now helping Gen-X entrepreneurs, healers, artists, and small businesses build brands that actually convert.

We’ll unpack:

  • The real reason strategies often “don’t work”
  • How the marketing funnel actually functions (no bro marketing BS)
  • What happens when you pivot, tweak, delete, and second-guess instead of staying consistent
  • What it really takes to see momentum (hint: patience AND repetition)

If you’ve ever wondered why your marketing feels stuck or why hiring help didn’t magically solve everything - this episode is your clarity moment.

In this episode of Analog Girls in the Digital World, I sit down with Maggie Patterson - business truth-teller, cult dynamics decoder, and champion for small-but-mighty entrepreneurs.

Together, we pull back the curtain on the manipulative marketing tactics that have infected the online coaching and MLM world.

From “mindset hacks” that silence your intuition to emotional manipulation disguised as empowerment, we unpack how easily these spaces can start to feel… well, culty. Maggie breaks down the BITE model - that’s Behavior, Information, Thought, and Emotional control -and shows us exactly how it plays out in the digital business arena.

If you’ve ever questioned the shiny promises of six-figure launches and “just believe harder” messaging, this one’s your permission slip to trust your gut, sharpen your discernment, and stop letting toxic marketing mess with your mind (or your money).

1. Analog Girls Digital World :Welcome to the Rebellion04 Dec 202500:08:27

What is UP my rebel nerds?!
Welcome to the VERY FIRST episode of Analog Girls, Digital World - the show for my fellow Gen X and elder millennial women who grew up making mixtapes off the radio… and are now out here building digital empires like the badass, slightly-chaotic, heart-forward legends we are.

In this premiere episode, I’m kicking open the digital doors and inviting you into a new era of online business - one built on integrity, transparency, and ACTUAL human connection… not bro-marketing manipulation.

Here’s what I’m diving into:

💥 Why it was time for me to leave the wellness world after watching it slip into culty vibes, guru theatrics, and weaponized “mindset”
💥 How I rediscovered my true superpower: being the tech friend and why being an analog girl actually positions me perfectly to guide women through the digital world
💥 Integrity vs. Influence: the difference, why it matters, and why I’m choosing integrity every damn time
💥 The behind-the-scenes skills I actually bring to the table: decades of storytelling, design, tech, funnels, branding, web development, and creative chaos wrangling
💥 What bro-marketing really looks like (and why I’m officially DONE with it)

And because I’m here to help you build a digital presence without the overwhelm, I’m giving you two free tools to get started today:

11. Burn it Down: Why Manifestation Coaches Are Failing You27 Nov 202500:06:15

LIMITED SERIES Podcast: Burn it Down (where I get some things off my chest and transition fully into digital marketing here on the pod)

Personal development is powerful, but it won’t build you a business.

In this episode, I break down the messy overlap between personal growth and personal branding, how MLMs and shady “coaches” hijack self-help for profit, and why strategy matters just as much as mindset.

You’ll learn why your old patterns surface the minute you step into entrepreneurship, how community makes the journey sustainable, and what it really takes to build a brand that lasts.

10. Burn it Down: A Love Note to the Triggered Men20 Nov 202500:07:27

LIMITED SERIES Podcast: Burn it Down (where I get some things off my chest and transition fully into digital marketing here on the pod)

Let me be very clear - this one isn’t about attacking men.
It’s about naming the systems they defend, protect, and benefit from… even when those systems harm women.

In this episode, I break down the uncomfortable truth about male-led spiritual circles, coaching empires, and “conscious” communities that are built less on healing and more on hierarchy, profit, and power.

It’s a pattern.A business model.A well-oiled machine designed to protect the man at the top.

And yes… this episode is a wake-up call for any man who feels the need to defend these ecosystems instead of questioning why they’re built the way they are in the first place.

If you’ve ever wondered why women stay silent, why speaking up is so terrifying, or why calling out male “leaders” feels like breaking a sacred rule - this episode is your map.

9. Burn it Down: Authenticity vs. Personal Branding: Where’s the Line?13 Nov 202500:09:08

In a world where vulnerability is treated like currency, how do you know when you’re being authentic - and when you’re just performing for your brand?

In this episode, I unpack the blurry line between personal branding and personal life, the difference between sharing from scars versus wounds, and how to decide what’s yours to share online.

From my early blogging days to my current pivot with Rebel Soul Media, I share the boundaries, questions, and lessons that keep me aligned in business, life, and visibility.

8. Burn it Down: From TV Director to Rebel Brand Builder06 Nov 202500:04:43

Rebel Soul Media didn’t come out of nowhere - it’s the culmination of two decades of grit, reinvention, and unapologetic creativity.

In this episode, I share my journey from TV director to retreat chef to Breathwork facilitator to digital brand strategist, and why this evolution makes so much sense when you look at the path I’ve been on.

If you’ve ever wondered how to blend soul, strategy, and actual skill into your business, this is the behind-the-scenes story of why Rebel Soul Media exists.

7. Burn it Down: When Politics and Relationships DO Collide30 Oct 202500:06:00

LIMITED SERIES Podcast: Burn it Down (where I get some things off my chest and transition fully into digital marketing here on the pod)

Politics and spirituality aren’t separate - they never were. In this episode, I share my own journey from head-in-the-sand avoidance to seeing politics as a mirror of character and values.

From the vaccine moment that exposed cracks in the spiritual community, to the dangerous overlap of religion, politics, and cult dynamics, I unpack why neutrality is no longer an option.

If your spirituality doesn’t translate into equality for all humans, it’s not spirituality; it’s performance.

6. Burn it Down: Closing Doors Without Apology23 Oct 202500:06:45

LIMITED SERIES Podcast: Burn it Down (where I get some things off my chest and transition fully into digital marketing here on the pod)

Endings don’t always need an explanation. In this episode, I talk about the radical power of sovereignty - the ability to close doors without apology.

From relationships to businesses to lifelong chapters, sometimes “I’m done” is a complete sentence. I share the lessons I’ve learned from closing big doors in my own life, including why I’m bringing my Breath Alchemy Circle to a close, and what it means to trust alignment over luck.

5. Burn it Down: Not Everything Is Your F*cking Ego16 Oct 202500:08:02

LIMITED SERIES Podcast: Burn it Down (where I get some things off my chest and transition fully into digital marketing here on the pod)

The line between spirituality and religion isn’t as clean as we like to believe.

From hierarchy and ritual to toxic leaders and spiritual bypassing, many “wellness” spaces mirror the very systems they claim to break free from.

In this episode, I unpack the parallels, call out the manipulation, and share why true spirituality is found in the quiet, everyday moments; not in costly certifications, cult-like communities, or curated Instagram feeds.

4. Burn it Down: Why I Burned Down Most of My Spiritual Practices But Still Stand By Breathwork09 Oct 202500:07:52

The wellness world is overflowing with hacks, rituals, and spiritual bypassing that rarely deliver what they promise.

In this episode, I share why I’ve burned down most of my spiritual practices; but continue to stand by Breathwork as the one tool that’s accessible, real, and proven to transform both body and mind.

81. WTF is "Resistance" in Healing Work?21 Aug 202300:10:27

In short, when we feel resistance it's as if we're rowing a boat against the current. Our conscious self sets a course for a desired outcome, but there are other parts of us—those hidden fragments (see Ep. 79) —that push us in the opposite direction.

So what do you need to know in order to work WITH resistance and not AGAINST it? Listen in!

80. WTF Does it Mean to "Integrate" & Embody"?11 Aug 202300:13:16

Integration and embodiment bridge the gap between conceptual understanding and lived experience. When we begin to EMBODY our healing and the wisdom gained through spiritual practice, it's the transformation from head-centric living to heart-centered existence. That's what I am riffing on NOW!

You've probably heard about "Shadow Work," but what exactly is it? In simple terms, the shadow represents all those unconscious aspects of ourselves that we may not be aware of (both our pain/limiting beliefs AND hidden gifts!). And it's not THAT scary! Let's dive in.

78. Healing the Sister Wound with Breathwork24 Jul 202300:12:52

The sister wound lives and breathes in us all. It is the sneaky and sh*tty acting force that tells us we don’t belong with others.

I’m too much.

I’m too ugly.

They won’t like me.

I don’t have anything to give.

I can’t trust women.

76. The Basics of Breathwork12 Jul 202300:09:51

Welcome to my "Breathe Alchemy Basics Series"! Find yourself asking, "WTF is Breathwork?". You are not alone, dear rebel soul. Today I have one version of the A to this Q, and I share how we benefit on the physical, emotional, and spiritual level! Listen up!

75. Wild Rabbits & Mirror Neurons03 Jul 202300:16:32

As mammals, we have an innate program in place to mirror each other’s energy. Today I explain "mirror neurons" at the most basic level and share about how the 3 (not 2) nervous system responses we cycle between can be balanced using breathwork.

74. WTF is "Rebel Soul Health" & A Personal Update26 Jun 202300:19:12

Rebel Soul Health isn't just a brand. It's a movement. On today's show I share about what being a rebel soul means to me; and it's not all about tattoos and punk rock.

I also share a short life update to fill you in on some of the happenings since moving my family from Costa Rica to Canada earlier this year!

73. Stilettos & Spirit: Balancing the Corporate and Spiritual Worlds19 Jun 202300:14:02

Ditching my career as a TV director in favor of a more holistic health approach to my leadership was not something I did overnight. Going all in on your spirituality doesn't have to mean sacrifice!

If you find yourself feeling like you have to choose between your personal growth and the "matrix", I am here to tell you that you can, and should - have one foot in the spiritual realm and one foot in the corporate world! And if you are on the path to change your career and to be more in service to a higher good, you do still need to have a steady income while you study the Bhagavad Gita (google it).

Trust me, you're not alone in this funky space; I spent a couple of years straddling both worlds while I worked to find my purpose.

And this is what I am riffing on today on the radio!

72. Loving on Unmet Childhood Needs Through the Breathe01 Dec 202200:24:32

We all have habits or go-to responses in life that we adopted as a result of our upbringing. No matter how picture perfect our childhood seemed, as we’re growing up not every experience we have is perfect. As children we really just seek to have our needs met. That’s what our existence is about. And if one (or more) of these needs are missed by our caretakers, if they’re not met - then a rupture occurs.

Today on the show I share more about this idea and how Breathwork can be an incredible tool for transforming these small (and sometimes huge) traumas into healing.
