A series of scans and tests confirmed the diagnosis: a Grade 3 Oligoastrocytoma, a high-grade brain tumour that would require immediate surgery, followed by months of chemotherapy and radiation. Mark faced this life-altering news with courage and determination. His recovery wasn’t easy—surgery brought its own challenges, from double vision to hallucinations—but through it all, he remained resilient. With the support of his family, friends, and the wider community, Mark embraced the fight of his life. He underwent 33 radiation sessions and six months of chemotherapy, all while holding onto a positive mindset and a newfound perspective on life. Today, Mark is cancer-free, and his journey has ignited a passion to give back.
