Mike Garcia started growing 12 years ago with a 4'x8' garden bed and now he owns Ever Oak Farm in Orlando, FL. He runs a CSA and sells produce directly at his farm , while also giving locals an opportunity to experience the farm and enjoy the fresh outdoors. Back in 2012, he was inspired by Curtis Stone to be resourceful with his tiny yard space when he was renting and one day, decided to tear up the grass and plant crops to sell direct to consumer at local markets! Mike and his comrades learned quickly how to grow lots of food on a small space and he continues plant season after season for his community, so I'm excited to share his wisdom and expertise with you today. Mike not only grows market garden produce for his customers , but he also has a Syntropic fruit tree orchard with meat birds grazing underneath them! He is all about the full systems approach and bringing as much value out of the land, and also back TO the land , as possible. As John says in the podcast, "the more producers out there the better." I have been working with Eric on garden and nursery projects for over 7 years now. Dr. Matthew DiLallo, is a licensed Chiropractic Physician who graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic. As the Vice President of the Sports Council Club, Dr. DiLallo collaborated with local athletic event organizers to provide treatment for competitors, showcasing his commitment to sports-focused chiropractic care. Before pursuing chiropractic education, Dr. DiLallo contributed his expertise as a Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Pittsburgh Pirates, working with their minor league teams in Bradenton, Florida. He has had several opportunities to work with athletes at the top of their sports! I appreciate having him on because he goes deep in his practice. It's very easy too stop bringing value to clients in the world we live in today , nd resting on our laurels when we're pursuing a discipline. However, I see Dr. Matt as a beacon of healing for the community and showing more people every day what's possible for human performance and abilities. My biggest take away from this conversation was the 3 T's! It's funny it always comes back to the simplest solutions. Sometimes we don't need teaching as much as we need reminding. Chad Carpenter works with his clients to help them work through deep trauma locked up in the body. He shares how this amazing process of breathing intentionally and how it can release / unlock incredible feelings and breakthroughs for them.
