Welcome back to A Maturing Amateur! In this episode, I talk to the coolest guy I know... me! Or maybe that's just my ego talking. *holds for applause*. <<And this is what we call millennial humour, and I'm not at all ashamed... my ego wouldn't let me be! I really enjoy waxing poetic about emotional maturity and ego because I think that becoming more aware of these concepts that reside within us is the best way to reach life satisfaction and improve relationships with other people and yourself.

Welcome to A Maturing Amateur where I talk to people about their passions and interests and what that's taught them about life. In this episode, I was lucky enough to speak with Noelle Montcalm, who happens to be a frickin' Olympian! I listed some of her track and field accolades at the beginning of the episode, and then we discussed her experience and journey training and competing over the last several years. I learned about how she handled failure, how important having support from the people around her was, and what I might need to do if I ever decide to become an Olympian... which I'm still contemplating.

Welcome to A Maturing Amateur! I made this podcast as an excuse to talk to friends, acquaintances and strangers about their passions in life. In this episode, I speak with a friend and colleague, Anne. We talk about storytelling which I believe Anne is incredible at. The best way to begin is by beginning. 

The first time you do something, you're an amateur. This is our first time living life - making us all amateurs at life. But we're growing, learning, experiencing and maturing with time. This podcast will be me speaking about some stuff that I may be an amateur at and speaking with others about things they may be amateurs at. Through conversation, we hopefully will find inspirations, lessons and reflections that will help us continue to mature into well-seasoned amateurs.
