Today we talked with Subash from Gray Wold Overland. One thing we want to point out is our onversation about his Jeep Rubicon 4XE and the technogy it has. We discussed how you have to drive an electric vehicle different off road and what setitns to use on the Jeep 4XE. The discussion also inolved some technical 4xE and susension talk since Subash is an engineer. We started the convesation arond Subash growing up in India and falling in love with the vintage Jeep and Mahindra vehicles.

In todays episode, Wes sits down and talks with long time friend and British Columbia off road racer Dale Nyeste.  They talk about the good old days of distance racing  and short course racing around Kamloops, as well as desert racing in the states. Dale reveals which he prefers and also compares them the the pavement sprint car racing he currently does. 

I have to appologize for the sound quality on this episode. I did not notice until after it was recorded that there feedback on the mic. I have not had this issue before this interview or in the 2 interviews I did after.  I spent 3 days searching how to fix it with no positive result. If you have any ideas,  please let me know! 

We will get Dale back on soon as we want to pick his brain about suspension for the weekend warriors as well as the off road racers. We will have an episode all about shocks soon!

In this episode, we talk with Canadian off road racer Steve McCrossan about his recent second place finish at the NORRA Mexican 1000 desert race. A long time Ontario short course racer, McCrossan and his team recently made the move from their high tech Pro 4 short course truck to racing the Baja in a short wheelbase early Ford Bronco. We talk about the incredible atmosphere at the NORRA race as well as the differences between short course and desert racing.

Our guest in this episode, MikeTishken, drives his H2 Hummer all over British Columbia.
